I was very impressed with all the reviews on here. Took my mini notebook in last month because it had been running slowly, and I wanted to use it on my vacation. They said they’d have it the following day on Friday. Never heard from them and finally I called on Tuesday. Went to pick it up, and he said it had a lot of viruses that he cleared. When he turned it on to show me, it had about 25 updates. we waited about two hours, and the updates weren’t even a quarter done. Finally, we decided to come back the next day, and I guess he never left it going when we left so the updates would get done. My husband again waited for two hours. Sad thing was, when we finally got the computer back, it wasn’t any better than when when we took it in. I ended up doing everything I needed off my phone.

Joe is awesome and extremely knowledgeable! I won’t go anywhere else to get my computer fixed. I had to bring my work computer in for an unknown reason, sluggish and such, and he gave me options and suggestions I could do in the future. He’s a very helpful and honest guy who wouldn’t steer you wrong. I will be bringing my personal laptop in as well for some issues before it takes a dive. Very friendly and personable, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

They fixed my wife’s computer and installed a SSD drive that made this computer VERY fast. It was a bit of an investment but still cheaper than a new computer and I had all my files and softwares saved. I also dropped off one of my old laptops that needed a new fan. They repaired it and cleaned it… removed all viruses… fast and quite without overheating.. now I can use it as a media center on my tv. But the best. .I broke the screen of my 1 year old surface. … they told me flat out its not worth it to fix it because of the cost. …Very honest!!! Highly recommended!

These guys really know what they’re doing!
I first used their services back in June because I was having trouble completely removing all traces of incompatible antivirus software from my computer so that I could install a different brand of virus protection software. They completely removed the old software and installed my new software for a nominal fee.
Yesterday, I found myself in need of their services once more and again was extremely pleased, so I wanted to acknowledge them on Unilocal to let others know how good they are! They are very professional, reasonably priced, and finished the work on my laptop the same day.

I recently took my boyfriend’s laptop to Next Door Geeks because it was running slow. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and it made me feel welcome especially because he was with another customer at the time. We explained what was going on with the laptop. He turned on the laptop and knew exactly what the problem was. He made a couple of suggestions and said that he could have it back to us the next day (only because we brought the laptop in close to closing). The price was great too. I will be returning. I highly recommend Next Door Geeks. Good customer service, great work and great prices.

They have the best service ever from the moment walk in and out !!! They know exactly what they doing, fix my laptop inside out, get the new window, software and everything, brand new laptop now, they even open to a piece to clean the dusty. Thank you, I’m definitely come back if my laptop ever get sick again :)

I recently took my kids laptops to Next Door Geeks for repair. I have had problems in the past and tried to fix them with others companies and let me tell you it was a nightmare. I choose Next Door Geek because of their high ratings on Unilocal and Google. The computers were repaired quickly and are working as good as the day we bought them. I also had them fix my phone, their prices are very competitive and the work is always done quickly. I high recommend them and will be using them in the future.

Professional and courteous, Next Door Geeks Computer Repair shop handled my repair masterfully (A MacBook Pro Motherboard Replacement). I was impressed not only with the Next Door Geeks knowledge, but attention to my individual situation. The gentlemen at Next Door Geeks take incredible strides to satisfy their customer base. Instead of wondering when parts being shipped would arrive, Next Door Geeks supplies a tracking number to remove wasted time and running-​around. Forget Computer Repair shops revolving around some «wizard», whom never seems available for questioning or understanding; Next Door Geeks technician Rob, provides straightforward, candid answers to all of my questions and concerns effortlessly. Rob was even able to identify cheap knock-​off parts other repair shops will attempt slip by (due to a previous repair)!
Not only was my computer repair completed within a timely manner, the technicians were able to provide upgrade and maintenance suggestions in extending the productivity of my laptop. I plan on returning next week for hardware component upgrades, and at this point would not trust any other Computer Repair shop. Thanks to Rob, and Geeks Next Door for a speedy resurrection of my laptop.

Impeccable service and very professional. Brought my laptop here Saturday morning for a fried motherboard and they diagnosed it for free and gave me a price to fix. The part was expensive (no fault of theirs) but they only charged a small fee for labor. Quick service and they said the part would be in this morning and ready for pickup around noon. Well, they called me at 9am on the dot to tell me my pc would be ready at 930. Very impressed with the service I received here and will be calling again for future computer issues.

This is about the third time I’ve been to Next Door Geeks. They are THE BEST computer repair/​service place around. You just can’t beat them — excellent customer service, knowledgeable technicians and reasonable prices. What’s not to like? Noah is a gem! gem! gem! Good for business! Love him! He knew what he was doing and tricked out my ASUS even more than it already was. I really can’t say enough good things about the place — what a rarity these days. Keep up the good work, Geeks! I will recommend you to everyone.

This place seems to have undergone new management, and staff… and were unable to repair an iPhone 5 speaker/​port entry because they did not have the parts… which was a total 360 from when I last went. However, they were nice enough to refer me to another cell repair shop that was able to fix my phone. For that kind of service, I’ll keep them at 4 stars.

Second time here for my PC repair!
Got virus last time, they charge $ 129.99 plus tax and did a great job taking care of it !
Went back this morning again, though I got the virus on my PC but thank god it wasn’t !
The technicians are very professional, friendly and honest!
He spends 30 minutes and found out the problem, taking care of it and did not charge me a dime, I’ll highly recommend it! 5 starts

My husband is self-​employed and relies on his laptop to run his business 7 days per week. When his laptop screen went blank during a recent lightning storm, he pretty much freaked! He was able to determine that the issue wasn’t with the power source, the motherboard or the video card; it was definitely the screen.
He was prepared to order a screen online and have it installed, but his techy friend told him about Geeks Next Door in Hollywood and how they should be able to fix it immediately without ordering anything. He called them, verified they had the screen in stock, and then headed down to Hollywood.
The screen was installed in 30 minutes and his laptop was back up and running that day. Great, friendly, speedy service. A great experience!

If thia could be rated 10 stars, this business would deserve more. I went in to repair my MacBook pro, got the FREE diagnostic within an hour that it was the replacement of my motherboard needed, other places charge over $ 400 and I got the best deal here. Plus, they give an additional discount if you left a positive review for services used in the past and that’s why I have them rated 5 stars on Google review as well.
All the staff is very friendly and patient with you, when I went to pick up my MacBook pro, I had another issue with the laptop aside from motherboard and it was the front latches to clamp down and magnetically close the computer wasn’t functioning (prior to fixing it, that was there).I asked if they could fix it and spent about 30 minutes with me and didn’t give up until they got to the solution. I thank they team very much for the help!
An additional testimony from other who were in the store at the same time as I was. one came back completely frustrated at «You break it, we fix it» from Taft and flamingo and apparently instead of repairing an iPad screen, they broke it more. Another instance where a sweet old lady was hacked and tricked by «Microsoft» calling in and hacking her computer was there and they were able to help immediately while providing her comfort. Class A people working there and I would return for any technological issues.
