Fowl smell and taste steak. Yeap too bad. It looked so delicious… Unfortunately two of us got steak bad smell and flavor. After retuned politely told us the meat was not bad and only a serving of rice could be a raplacement. Really? Hmmmm… Come on Colombian Restaurant!

The food was good. I had the typical Venezuelan dish. It came with rice and I asked to substitute for a side salad. They charged me extra but it was worth it. The service was good. They are currently under going new administration, the Colombians took over. The environment is definitely Colombian. They were nice to put the women’s World Cup game, Colombia vs France!

This is a hidden gem and one of our«go tos.» We have never had a bad experience here. We basically get the same thing every time — a platter with steak, blood sausage, another sausage, plantains, rice, beans, pork fat back, and a corncake. It’s only $ 13 or so and I almost always bring half home. This is definitely a «hole in the wall» kind of place but the staff is always friendly and the food good.

This place has been here for years. I have been going their since we moved to the state from Colombia. Many things have changed including ownership and some expansion but the food is authentic and has always been good. Get the bandeja paisa which is my all time favorite and the national colombian dish. I’m Colombian so I should know this place rocks. For on the go get some empanadas or chorizo. If you are really adventurous get the blood sausage: morcilla which is so good. They have all types of treats: sodas, juices, paletas, desserts, etc… The people are really nice and they have a really good atmosphere. Parking is limited but so worth it.

Every time I go to Miami I like to go to eat Colombian food. I have been at this restaurant few times and always a great experience with the food, the service and the price. They loose one star from me just because, this time I went they did not have any of the juices I like and they have on the menu, they only had one juice available. I was disappointed. Also the Sancocho was not the way I remembered it. Perhaps they have different kinds of Sancocho. I will still go back to this place and enjoy a good Paisa plate.

In between a doctor’s appointment and a tour of Memorial Regional we were in need of lunch. Instead of choosing the easy route of Chipotle, Pollo Tropical, and the other chains in the area we opted to explore. We drove up and down until we found the least American looking spot and parked. The service was decent, would have been better if we spoke Spanish. The food was INCREDIBLE. The prices were slightly high if ordering a dish each but well worth it. We split 4 empanadas($ 1 each) and a carne asada platter($ 14). A decent amount of food for $ 25 including tip. The man that handled our bill was rude and almost ruined the experience. Also, check out the bakery on the way out. We got a coconut sweet roll that was amazing.

Found a voucher on for this ‘Rinconcito’ and decided to give it a try. The food was different from what I’m used to but it was good. Service was great as well, our waitress was super nice and attentive. Ambiance/cleanliness can be improved upon. Otherwise, a nice option in the area of Hollywood.

On my quest to find some good, down to earth Colombian fare, I stumbled upon this ‘hole in the wall’ eatery. I was almost dissuaded by the lack of parking but once inside, I felt right at home. If you’re like me and can appreciate a good New York City(Queens-esque) Colombian restaurant with full service bar and down to earth wait service, you’ll be happy you stopped by. Food was bountiful and really delicious. I’ll be back for more very soon.
