This cold stone is under new management and it’s so much better! The people are nice and service is great!

THISPLACEISABSOLUTELYAMAZING! Everyone please take the time to read this review. I am all the way in New York, and the new owner was nice enough to help take my order(I needed an ice cream birthday cake), help me with what exactly it was I needed, and even helped me get the cake to my boyfriend who’s birthday was that day and lived 40 minutes away!!! This place is nothing less than what you call exceptional customer service. Please do not look at the reviews before this, as this store is under new ownership. I am absolutely in love with the new owner(Arthur) as he is a true example of what great service and professionalism is all about. The cake came out BEAUTIFUL, and whatever equipment he did not have he improvised to the best of his ability. I am a New Yorker, but the next time I am in SoCal I will be sure to stop by this place, as it has won a special place in my heart. Thank you Arthur and staff! You are all truly phenomenal !!!

I normally LOVE Cold Stone, but this particular location is awful. It took us a little bit to find it because it’s so tucked away. When we got there it was surprisingly small and dim-lit. I was disappointed in the selection of flavors as they usually have a wide variety. however this location did not. The workers there were extremely rude and acted annoyed when I asked to sample something(I only asked for one sample!!) When I was taking my order, halfway through, the employee stopped looking at me and focused her attention on a group of guys that had just walked in causing me to repeat my order again. The employees gave us such attitude and this Cold Stone doesn’t validate parking which really sucks because my friends and I came to Hollywood & Highland solely to get Cold Stone. Definitely will not be going back to this location!

2 stars because my family and I waited inline for 20 minutes. They were really slow and by the time we were up no apologies for the wait and took forever putting together my ice cream. By the time my mom wanted to order it was about 2 minutes from when i got mine and hers to order. We gave up and just paid for mine. Still no apology from the ice cream maker and was rude. I will never come back to this location again.

I went last night at 8:55pm and it was already closed. There was also a family of 8 who got there«too late». The manager was already nearly done cleaning up. There was no hours of operation on the door, so no idea what time the store really closes. Hollywood was busy yesterday so I highly doubt they closed because no one was out.

HORRIBLESERVICE. Not even deserving of one star. Bad customer service. Came in 35 minutes before close and refused to make me a banana split or smoothie. Definitely ruined my night out.

Poor Poor Service! We came in 30mins before closing they refused to make us a milk shake, the ice creams we ordered did not have all the mix ins they were suppose to have and the ones that did they refused to mix in because the ice cream was going to melt! What! Really! That’s why we come to Cold Stone… Never coming to this location

approach and greeting was horrible. I asked for a small change. Jasmine started arguing with me, switched the cone into the cup and slammed it on the counter and stormed away. I asked her for a receipt, she rolled her eyes and threw it at me. The receipt was not readable so I asked her for another copy, she yelled at me and said that’s just the way they are. I ask her for her name she refused to tell me. Lucky you could see the name on the receipt. Unbelievable!!!

Cold! Stone! Creamery! This is where I met my girlfriend so, as you can imagine, I love this place. I’m pretty certain if you could dig up the founding fathers of this great country, crack some ammonia inhalants under their noses & ask them what they meant by «the pursuit of happiness» they would talk about the superb ice cream flavors this joint offers. Service is always cordial. Every time I walk in here I feel like Toby McGuire in Pleasantville(great movie by the way) when he realizes he has been transported into his favorite TV show! Wouldn’t that be neat?! Anyway, I digress.. . Generally, I like to mush up cookies or candy bars in their vanilla ice cream. What can I say, I’m basic. Sarah(my awesome girlfriend) always brings her own gummy bears(don’t ask me why! I think sometimes she adopts some of the quirky habits of the characters she’s creating for her Pilot she’s working on for Amazon). They’re always pretty cool about it so long as she doesn’t bring her own ice cream. Ha! If you’re in the HWood area & you’re looking for some genuine, innocent, drug free fun — Cold! Stone! Creamery!

So this bogus place would not accept a 2:1 reward from fuelzee unless it was printed out even though you could clearly see the code on my iphone. Anyways of all the major ice cream chains cold stone creamery tends to be the most overpriced

I confess, I am a bit of a Cold Stone addict. My friend was visiting from out of town and we wanted to get a snack so we stopped in to the Cold Stone at Hollywood & Highland. For those that don’t know, Cold Stone is basically a custom made ice cream, you select the ice cream flavors and toppings are then mixed in. It’s fun to watch the ice cream being made right in front of you. I think this would be a great place to take kids and it’s especially fun to visit if you don’t have a Cold Stone by you. The service was quick and our order was perfectly made. I would certainly come back when I am in the area again.

We stopped in here right before close and the guy working was clearly irritated by that so we didn’t get very good service but the ice cream was good.

6 bucks for a small ice cream?! I used to love this place but I will not be returning at these absurd prices. Definitely not worth that. I could buy a full meal for cheaper than that! And then they leave out a tip jar making you feel guilty if you don’t tip. Ridiculous

TL;DR: This location might not accept your gift cards or certificates! I had a gift certificate to coldstones and when I presented it to the cashier after my order he said they don’t accept them because the shop is franchised and this particular owner doesn’t take gift certificates. I told him that makes no sense because, at the end of the day, the franchise is still part of the coldstones brand and that is what my certificate is for. He wouldn’t budge — even when I told him that I’ve used the certificate at multiple locations with no problem at all and nowhere on my certificate does it say«at participating stores only» — so I had to pay with my credit card. I’m never going to that«franchised» branch ever again — and beware if you plan to use a gift card or certificate at this location! They probably won’t take it.

The weather has been rising, so of course I start thinking ice cream. Just what I(don’t) need for my plan of eating better. I haven’t been to a Cold Stone in a couple of years; although I really like their ice cream. Somehow I tend to go a quite a while without it, and yet still survive. From their own creations(they used to have this Boston cream mix), their petite cakes(strawberry passion), and take home ice creams(Shock-a-Cone), no treat has gone untried by me. Cold Stone’s in areas this populated are always crowded, and this one is no different. Service is A-Ok, and I always know my treat is going to be well worth it.

Earlier this week I took my tour group into Coldstone’s when our original location was unable to take all 27 of us last minute. Their staff was amazing! They were fast, courteous, and fun! They let me plug in my iPod to have our own themed music party and they did a few tricks with the ice cream to entertain all my guests! I work for Disney and they gave us all«Disney» level service and exceeded all our expectations. The manager even gave us a discount since we had such a large party. I really appreciate all their hard work and definitely would bring my groups here again! Shoutout to Lydia, Jose and Armin for being excellent.

the ice cream I have to say is the best ice cream I ever tasted. my favorite is the cheesecake ice cream with strawberries and gram crackers with cheesecake bites. DELISH! I love the ice cream and I understand why their prices are high. good quality ice cream.

We went to Cold Stone Creamery on the 9th of March, and on that day– there was a young gentleman with a lip ring closing by himself. This man would get a five-star review himself. He was dealing with very energetic customers before us. Most people would probably laugh nervously and avoid the awkward situation of having easily exciteable patrons, but the man just did his job, went with the flow, and made everyone feel at ease. Once it was our turn, he was attentive, helpful with suggestions, and quick with our order. Four stars because ice cream is the lady’s thing. It was good. We’ll probably be back(knowing her) and if everything is like it was the first time– I’ll upgrade this to five stars. Just can’t go «perfection» with something not high on my list. Give that kid a raise, though. March 9th, closer, lip ring. I’d steal him if I didn’t leave the business.
