We enjoyed a delicious lunch here today with outstanding service and a relaxing but fun atmosphere! As soon as we walked in the door we were warmly greeted by one of the guys behind the bar, telling us we could sit anywhere we would like. There are three large tvs, two playing football games and one showing the World Series. Our waitress was there as soon as we sat down and we ordered cold soft drinks. We asked if we could taste the chili and she brought us a generous sample. It was really good! We ordered small burgers and shared chili cheese fries… all wonderful! One of the chefs served us our food which was a nice touch. All in all an excellent experience and we will definitely go back, and often! So happy to find this restaurant in our town! Enjoyed meeting and chatting with some of the friendly customers as well. Very nice place!

Came after the name change and renovation and overall experience was good. Only complaint was it is a little pricey. Went rally weekend and the menu was shortened the prices seemed even higher and the food was not good at all. Thought maybe the higher prices and rally menu were a rally thing so tried again today with my wife. There was maybe 10 people total when we arrived and we ordered right away. She got fries and chicken strips and I got a chicken sandwich and a baked potato. We waited for almost an hour for our food to show up never getting even asked if we wanted refills on our empty soda glasses. Food finally arrived and was again disappointing especially for the price. My wife at ordered asked for a side of bbq and ranch and when food arrived we were told they were out of ranch even though my sandwich came with ranch on it. They said they were making more and would bring some out once made. So I ate my food as she waited on the ranch that never came. So she got a box and we stopped at safe way for ranch on the way home. How does a place that«specializes» in finger foods that normally people want ranch with run out of ranch? While paying noticed kitchen was a mess with bread all over work area, dried out cheese just sitting on the counter, and a filthy rag on top of the cutting knifes. Sadly they have a baseball theme going and this was it’s third strike for us. It is just too bad this town seems to have no good sit down restaurants anymore.

Wanted to like this place but overall experience was sad. The waitress was friendly and attentive but it took 49 mins for partially cooked fries. For being a sports bar/restaurant they only had a couple tvs. Won’t be going back.

Went here for the first time a couple weeks back and the service was great. My girlfriend and I didn’t know what to expect since it seemed like a sports bar that might have small food portions but the portions were an amazing size and very filling; not to mention the great selection of beer available, especially the dark variety. Our server was exceptionally attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and was extremely friendly. It was an overall great experience and we’ll definitely be returning again, can’t wait to see the atmosphere during a Giants game.

Best, freshest burgers in town and I have tried all the other places. Angel, the manager is a very cool person and knows a lot about beer. She’ll let you have a taste if you’ve never tried one. Now they have breakfast on the weekends.

I stopped here with some friends after a long day of driving up and down highway one. We ate here mostly because it was the first place that wasn’t Mexican food but also because it was open. I was encouraged by the dozen and half beers on tap but was disappointed to see about twelve of them were IPAs. While this is more a distributor issue, the person who orders the beer could have picked something else. Anyway, the food, you want to here about that. My friends and I all opted for the burger in various forms. Mine had grilled onions, cheese, and bacon. It was messy and pretty good. I had to use two napkins if that matters to you. My friend ordered a baked potato for her side but got curly fries as well. At first she wasn’t going to point out she hadn’t gotten what she ordered but just as she was about to mention the error the waitress brought her potato. I had the Firewalker Double Barrel Ale by the way. A solid brew with dark cameral tones, a bitter start but a nice clean finish. Wait, I was talking about the food. What you want to know is if you should eat here. I wouldn’t stop you if burgers and beer are your thing but know the food is a bit pricy as you have to order sides, they are not included. I think the diner down the way, Jerry’s, might be a better choice but I’ve a soft spot for classic Americana diners.

Came here for dinner while on business. Typically like going to a burger/bar area. Got here, was greeted at the door, told me I could sit anywhere. I sat at the bar area and started with a beer and a Swiss mushroom burger. Food was great, beer was great, and the lady at the bar was very good at keeping the beers coming. There was a time where my glass was empty and the lady at the front had to do some cleaning. She had someone fill in while she was cleaning. That girl would rather talk with friends while I look around for someone I could ask to refill my empty class, waited 10 minutes. Gave that First Lady a great tip, but shit happens, I would eat here again.

Not bad spot the service was great. I will say the burger is better than running rooster. The garlic fries were nothing to write home about. Had multiple TVs and a large selection of beers.

We were going out for grillin and chillin but walked into this 3rd base burger… No problem, we are just in the mood for something good to eat. At first service was awesome. We were greeted and seated immediately with a smile… As we are walking to our seats we started to notice flys… More flys. And even more flys. We ordered our drinks and«bam» drinks were on the table immediately. Unfortunately we could not get past the fact that several flys were flying and landing on everything and decided to pay for our drinks and leave. Service was going to be great, food even looked like it might be ok. Health inspectors will have a field day with this one. Clean it up guys!

If you are craving a homemade burger this is the place. Great beer selection and friendly staff. Wednesday night brewer night, they give you a glass to keep with each beer you buy. Killer habanero burger!

I had a review deleted by Unilocal for«conflict of interest». LOL I don’t own a restaurant. I work in an entirely different industry. I left a one star review because I saw the chef eating in the kitchen, at the grill. The health department will tell you that this is unacceptable. The food itself is ok but overpriced. A $ 10 burger doesn’t come with French fries. That’s another $ 3. The service is pretty good. The waitresses seem attentive. This placed went out of business under a different name. You can tell it’s the same company with a new name by the menu. It’s the same including their craft beers. Usually clean in appearance. Bathroom stocked.

Went there looking for the New Grillin and Chillin, but it had already morphed into 3rd base Burger Bar. It is basically bar food with a really good selection of craft beers. The burgers are good but I was not really in the mood for one. Sometimes this is the only place open in this small town that has a good selection of beers. Service was really good, prompt and courteous.

Two stars for the friendly waitress… Steak Salad was something you would buyer a gas station and the burger and fries were terribly greasy! This place is only good for one thing and that’s the beer!

First time eating here. I had the Bourbon Burger and garlic fries. The burger came out greasy and the garlic fries were greasy and under done. The waitress was great. She exchanged the fries for us. My fiancé has the Blue Cheese Burger and chicken wings. The chicken wings were good and the burger was OK. The burgers are expensive $ 9.5 to $ 12 for just the burger. You have to pay extra for the fries. Not coming back here again.

Came here on a whim after skydiving in Hollister. This place is not a bad place to go watch sports with the many TVs around and beer on tap. I ordered the California burger protein style. It came out a little more cooked than I had originally ordered(medium) and I wish there was more seasoning to the meat and more avocados. I didn’t try anything else so this review is based more on the burgers. They do have a good variety of beers on tap so this would be a good place to go and enjoy a few drinks. Overall customer service was good. Food came out quick and they were attentive. The place isn’t humongous and big enough where I’m sure there isn’t a wait many of the times. I wouldn’t mind coming back here again. Overall decent experience.

This new hamburger bar is very good, they seem to have a great selection of micro brews on tap, I had the mushroom Swiss burger it was cooked thru like I like it, very juicy and seasoned well, thumbs up, my wife had the blue cheese burger, messy and good were her words!!! We also had the Texas fries not quite as good, not enough cheese, the bacon was a little lite, and the jalepenos where dry, maybe not pickled… Service was great and friendly… Thanks for the great night out with my bride!!!

Ate here today for lunch. We had a group, they accommodated us by moving several tables together for us. Waitress was nice, service was overall pretty good. Food was all pretty good tasting, we had several different appetizers and entrée’s. Potato boats — tasty! Grilled cheese burger — also tasty! This place is a bit on the higher side for PRICE though and if you want to enjoy a great meal here you will need to spend some cash.
