I am not a big beer guy. I consider myself a snob with alcohol and really do not like drinking. there i admit it. I went here after work to attend a function. Now, the space is small, but the beer is really good. From me this is saying something. The only other beer i am really known to drink at all is Magic Hat No 9. So yes. it is good. I liked the Spider Bite First Bite beer and the toasted wheat one. I highly recommend a quick stop off. Don’t let the fact they are run by a former funeral director scare you! The only thing they do to your body here is fill it with good beer.

Good thing in a small package… yes, it’s in an industrial strip center, yes, the tasting room is small, yes, the beer is out of this world!!! The staff is very knowledgeable on their product, they have a cozy environment where the beer is served and growlers to go(both big and small)…I love the small micro breweries, and this one is at the top of the list.

Huge fan of this place. Small tasting room around the corner from my house doesnt get much better. Feels like your 2nd living room. The beers are fantastic and always about 8 beers on a rotating tap so usually something new to try(12 legs is the best!). Larry The Legend(brewer/owner) is always there serving up great beer and just an overall good guy. Its become our happy hour spot on Fridays. Invest in a pint glass $ 5 and they use that to fill you up, not to mention growler fills. If you like good craft beer why wouldnt you try a local spot? You will not be sorry

Some beerhead friends were visiting this past weekend, so we decided to pop in Spider Bite to check out their brews.“Love at First Bite” was oddly enjoyable for me, considering that I don’t often enjoy a dark brew. It came at the recommendation of the server whom overheard me saying just that. It’s very small and its in an industrial area of holbrook, just down the block from Cooky’s deli. We enjoyed the beers and had fun. What more can you ask for? I’d recommend to anyone trekking out this way to maybe plan your day with a few other stops or perhaps dinner locally.

This brewery deserves more than the 5 stars Unilocal will let me give them. Small tasting room but don’t let that turn you off, because the beer is worth it! Sit down and try a flight or 2 or 3 and figure out which beers you like the best because you will try some pretty amazing beers! They come out with small batch limited brews pretty often, and most of them are outstanding ! The Brewers there and everyone working there are very nice and very informative if you have any questions about the beer! Give this place a try!!! And get yourself some growlers to bring home because you’ll regret it if you don’t !

Found out Spider Bite was open so I decided to stop in for a tasting. My girlfriend and I got flights so we could try all 8 beers they offered. Although I wasn’t a fan of some, most of the beers were excellent. The lady behind the bar was very sweet and I ended up buying a t-shirt(good quality).

Nice to see a local business doing well. My boyfriend and were coming back from Riverhead and weren’t yet ready to go home, so while in the car, I browsed for things nearby. We found this was on the way home, with a newly opened tasting room, so visit we did. It’s a small place, where it seems that family and friends of the brewers can gather(jealous). The tastings were reasonably priced. We each did a flight of 4 so we could try them all. Some were a bit too dark and sour for me, but it was awesome getting to try them all at a nice sample size, just for that reason. And each one was unique and tasted as though there was effort and care dedicated to the brews, rather than when a craft brewery just tries to spit out whatever they can(remember people, its about quality not quantity). I bought a sweet etched glass and a women’s tee. Both great quality. If you’re in the area, check it out.

First off awesome beer! The tasting room though is very small and has a bit of a waiting room feel. So that’s a little strange. Also their location is a little hard to find because it’s in an industrial complex. I literally past it three times trying to find it because they have no signs out by the road. Other than that though defiantly a solid place to grab a good beer.

If and when you can find it, spider bite is a great place. I only say this because the tasting room is in a really indusial area and very small. but once you find it, its a pretty good treat. when I went they had a lot of ipa’s on tap and although im not a huge ipa fan the eight legged spider was delicious. perfect place of a after work beer.

Thanks to Brianne S’s review I found out this place was opened and couldn’t wait to check it out ! We decided to split a tasting then we each got a pint. I myself am not a fan of IPA’s but my husband is so he was a very happy camper. Their melba toast brown ale is something special. I practically had to pry it out of my husbands hands after I gave him a sip of my pint. We’ll definitely be returning to get a growler of that filled this weekend ! Tasting room is on the small side but it’s nice. The owners were there & they were very friendly. There was also merchandise for sale. Tee shirts, growlers, half growlers, coasters, pint glasses etc… The place is brand new, but my only suggestion would be for them to put up some speakers for background music in the future. When we were there, the TV was on in the tasting room playing what looked like an old AC/DC concert but with little or no volume. There were about 5 other people there besides us and & because it’s so small inside everyone was speaking in that awkward«I have to whisper my every word so I don’t sound like the loud one and everyone can hear me voice». Not a complaint by any means, just a suggestion. All in all we enjoyed ourselves & looking forward to returning this weekend.

Loving this new spot for after work brews! It’s tucked away in sort of an industrial area so it’s slightly hidden. My one gripe is that the pints they’re pouring, are slightly less than actual pints. Blame the Irish in me for being bothered by that. 8 diverse beers on tap; mostly IPAs, but I have to say I love their silk spinner, as well as their Melba toast brown ale. The tasting room is small, but for now it’s a non-issue as it’s brand new.

So Spider Bite just opened last week and I managed to make it here twice, I couldn’t get enough! The tasting room is on the smaller side, but honestly… if you frequent different tasting rooms you’ll find that this one is big enough and even has some stools to sit! They have 8 beers on tap(get it? spider? 8 legs?) which are all really good! If you’re a fan of IPA’s then this is a place to visit as most of their beers are that style. The Eye Be Use(9.2%) and the Eight Legged IPA(7ish%) ranked amoung my top. Hours as of now are Thursday & Friday 4pm-8pm, Saturday & Sunday 12pm-4pm. The owners are super nice and they’ve also been tending the bar! Can’t wait to visit this week!
