Lemon Tree

My experience with this location of The Lemon Tree was absolutely the worst I have had in a long time. I was very disappointed that they do not have respect for themselves or their business. The attitude of the staff was horrifying to say the least… They were extremely rough in washing and cutting my hair. All they kept doing was complaining about their coworkers. The place was filthy, issues with the water, the barbacide was old — very light in color. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

The end result of my visit to this salon was pretty disappointing. I went in and Judy said she will be with me after she sweeps up hair. Then took me over to sink and she’s talking to another customer while she’s working on me. I didn’t even realize I got my hair washed Bc it was so quick. She just put shampoo in my hair and washed it out. Then she did the same with conditioner. She also smelled horribly of smoke. I wanted to puke. Then she took me to her chair while she’s still talking to another customer. Paused to ask me what I want with my hair and I said 1 ½ in and i want layers. She didn’t give me too many layers Bc she was lazy. She kept complaining that my hair was too long. I also had a coupon for a wash cut and blowdry for $ 12. She then charged me $ 5 more Bc my hair was too long. It was a waste of my money Bc she was rough while blow drying and my hair was still fluffy and frizzy. I left upset and would never go back. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I just wanted to update my review and give an additional star to The Lemon Tree, as I have been going there long enough for them to recognize my face. My hair’s integrity has not been compromised, and I am happy with my color. Not too much to update, but I thought they deserved another star. :)

Got my hair colored and cut today for $ 35 and they did a great job. They were very friendly.

Gave me a good trim and quick, but having it assumed I am lying about the type it comes when I go to pay Jabba the lady behind the register is insulting. So if Jabba’s there, make sure you have powerful friends.

Got my hair trimmed here while visiting in-​laws. The only place I know of that doesn’t charge $ 20+ for a TRIM, even though my hair is long. They also have coupons for their services & are better than any Supercuts or mega-​chain.
Why can’t I find a place in my neighborhood that doesn’t overcharge & where the staff knows some English?
