I have been using this studio for the past 14 years with both my bands. We just finished recording the preliminary tracks for our upcoming disc this past weekend. These guys are pros all the way. Our mission was to replicate the Universal Recording Studios in Chicago during the 1950’s & 1960’s and Maxim/​Solid Sound achieved it!
The studio is large and comfortable, they have an array of top of the line gear and are very proficient with Protools and modeling software add-​ons. Our engineer, Joe, was very open to our ideas and goals, he worked with all that we requested… and there was a lot. If you need to record, you need to be here…
It doesn’t make sense to try recording yourself at home… let someone else do the engineering, we were able to concentrate on being musicians and creating music.
