Been to this place a couole of times and it is seriously awesome. The glazed donuts are incredible and so are the kolaches — especially the chicken, mushroom & cheese one. Some folks have complained about them running out on the weekend which I have not yet experienced but would totally understand if it happened because they are that good. I also thought the customer service was good and everyone in there was friendly. Do your self a favor and get a dozen donuts from this place.

How can you run out of regular glazed donuts on a weekend morning? Ask this place because they do!

They need to get a handle on their weekend help in Magnolia. Went in this morning and the girl working the register looked like she just crawled out of a dumpster. Hair was ratted up and sticking through the net, shirt was dirty and way too small and pants were dirty. Two other guys working in the back were being very loud and horse playing in the back. This is not the first time that I’ve been in here and this has happened. I’ve been here when the owner is in and this doesn’t go on(except for Ms Dirty clothes). They messed up my order because they were too busy clowning around. Their doughnuts are good unfortunately I won’t be back because of the dirty employees who like to play over the food.

They were very good when they first opened. Good variety, the kolaches were ok and the donuts were good. The owners were very nice and welcoming. But I Haven’t been happy with them in a long time. Seems like since they opened the other location closer to magnolia, the one in Hockley has gone down. On 4 different occasions at 10 am on a Sunday, they were almost out of everything. Even donuts. I fully understand they don’t want to overbake. But on a Sunday morning? they don’t even make enough to get themselves through a morning rush, and care more about not having leftovers than having enough to fill demand. And when they did have donuts they seemed old. We gave them tons of chances since they were close and convenient. But I gave up on them and now make the drive to KC donuts at mueschke, where I have shown up at 11am and they have a variety of fresh donuts. If I hear that bakers dozen fixes the issues I would give them another chance, but for now I’ve moved on.

never had a kolache and stopped by to try one on the way to College Station. it was ok. reminded me of a baked bao you could get from an Asian bakery. The donut tasted better! Service was nice and so was the owner.

I am very satisfied with the customer service and neighborly attitude from Baker’s Dozen. I was driving into Houston and wanted to bring some traditional fruit kolaches to my Czech grandma in Tomball. When I called Baker’s Dozen to see if they had fruit kolaches, they offered to take them aside for me and stay open after closing time so I could pick them up. The owner was very pleasant and couldn’t have been kinder. In the end, we were too far away to get there in a reasonable amount of time, so I had to call back and cancel my order. I can’t say much about their food, but I can definitely vouch for the wonderful service from Baker’s Dozen.
