They closed… I really hope this space gets used for something else. It would be a disaster to open this type of restaurant again in such prime real estate.

Never answer the phone so takeout is pretty much impossible. Changed the menu to way less quality ingredients.

Worst visit EVER. There was a straight on brawl between a waitress and a bartender, and the manager did absolutely nothing other than yell in front of an entire restaurant. Curse words galore, with kids present. Bartender even grabbed a glass and threatened to cut the waitress. I couldn’t make this up it was so horrible. How is this place even open. No one was in costume/Tilted Kilt attire, every single person was unprofessional. What food was delivered was disgusting and the drinks took forever. Do not come here even if its your very last option.

Nightmare. I was told they are closing shortly to reboot with a new manager… but the same owner?! Corporate should shut this place down for good. — The place is empty as a morgue. — Half of the menu items are not available — The one waitress was wearing bedroom slippers. — She brought my son a warm Coke without ice. — My beer was FLAT. FLAT! — Appetizer took forever, although there was no one there. — No water, no silverware, no napkins were provided. — We walked out and our check was«zero» as the key card for the POS system was missing so they could not make changes to our check. I feel sorry for the two people that still show up for work. The cook and the waitress. Those two plus an owner who has zero leadership skills and no sense of how to run a restaurant.

Stay far away: 1. When I walked in there were 2 people smoking cigarettes in the doorway 2. No one greeted us 3. Menus were dirty 4. Food was bad 5. Manager was demeaning employee in front of us 6. Had posters advertising a year old event

Worst service ever! Bartenders are very slow, girls are trashy looking, food sucks. Takes 20 mins to get a drink. Don’t come here!!!

I go here on every now and then for the convenience factor. Pros– plenty of bar space on a weeknight and the menu is pretty big. Décor is pretty nice. Food is actually good actually. Cons– Slow service and mistakes. Bartenders are young and unprofessional(saw one of them doing shots with a customer during her shift) and flirting with male customers. Very casual vibe, slow service. Seems almost like a free for all/circus. I saw customers mingling with the guy in the kitchen who kept coming out to the bar I guess because he wasn’t busy. And others joking around with the manager in plain view. Just strange! But I will probably go back as long as it stays open.

The food tasted rotten. I ordered the wings and BBQ pulled pork sandwich. The wings were okay but as far as the sandwich goes, there was something nasty in the woodshed. I took two bites. Go there for the women not the food.

Not like it was. Hardly anybody in the place, it is dirty and the girls try to be nice, but in the end they are overpowered by their friends and regulars that enter the place. Now there are only a handful of people that are in the Tilted Kilt so my prediction is it will close within 2 years.

Favorite Bad Dining Experience: Calling the Manager WHILEINTHERESTAURANT to report that we had not received our order after 45 minutes, and WATCHING, yes, WATCHING, the Manager hang up on me from across the restaurant. Called back and he denied hanging up on me. Told him I was sitting in the restaurant. He paid for our meal.

I am actually surprised I’ve checked into this place ten times(and they’ve been open for over 3 years). This looks to be, perhaps, a triumph of hope over reality. I really did like the burgers at one time(see previous review). But I’ve had too many disappointing burgers that I think I’ve had more disappointing than good. I feel I need to retract I can’t think of any other item that have really pleased me(maybe the fish & chips)? The beer selection is nothing to rave about. Okay — I’m going to try to stop visiting. One or two burgers that I enjoyed should not result in me cutting them so much slack.

Oh my god, this place has become such a dump. Zero stars if I could. I gave this place so many chances. At one point, I was even a regular to the point the bartenders(at the time) knew my drink and would start pouring as soon as they saw me walk in. The food is actually pretty good, I’ve been satisfied with just about everything I’ve ordered here… and their garlic fries are amazing. But I refuse to give them my business anymore after a series of terrible service, each worse than the last. I called once at 11pm to confirm the kitchen was still open — they said yes, we’re still serving food. Friends and I walk over(literally 7 minute walk), sit down and try to order, only to be told the kitchen is closed. wtf. that was the last straw. After all the good servers/bartenders left, this place became a shitshow. Service is beyond horrendous, management should seriously be ashamed of themselves for letting this place get so bad. At this point I am amazed they are still in business — waiting for them to close down and let a new establishment take over!

Great spot for Sunday NFL action, particularly in October. Jeff, Tank Tops and I agree the waitresses are pleasant and televisions plentiful. Food isn’t the greatest but if you’re there for the games you probably shouldn’t be seeking out a gourmet course. In a town with 100s of bars, this definitely isn’t the worst one.

The Irish Hooters/Sports Bar. Plenty of seating, they also have outdoor seating in the summers. Convenient location right next to the light rail. It’s usually not packed or busy. They do get ppv for fight nights so if you don’t want to pay to watch it at home, you can always come here to catch the fight for a cover charge. Food is decent. Not a full bar but its adequate. There is always creepy dudes trying to talk to the waitresses which is just funny to watch.

Remind me why I came here? Oh yeah was craving a burger and was nearby. Shame the manager(is there one?) doesn’t get this place in order. Make sure food is consistent and most importantly work on service!!! Food is hit or miss. My burger was mediocre and service, like last time I came here 9 months ago, was lackluster. This is Hoboken. Get your shit together there’s lots of other places we can go to. The pros is its not crowded(ironic huh), I enjoy the wings flavors and they have plenty of TVs.

Haha this place definitely lived up to its negative reviews. Only reason I’m giving it two stars instead of 1 is because it’s actually great to watch the ufc fights here. There wasn’t really that many people so I felt like me and my girl were watching tv at home. The servers were not hot, ours kept taking forever to bring the rounds of beer. We ordered a pub burger with a fried egg in it and asked them to put cheddar cheese instead of the American cheese it originally comes with and they forgot to put cheddar. Also we got the chicken sandwich that supposed to have chicken breast, bacon, Swiss cheese and lettuce, tomatoes… The cook forgot to put cheese in this one all together. Lol If you walk in and look around you can tell that this place is just holding on by a thread and is probably going to close down any day now. FYI believe the other reviews lol

No. I’ve given this place countless chances. No. The food is horrendous. Some of the servers are great. The rest are unable to comprehend questions and answer them. Like for example«are you playing the UFC fight?» They interpret this to mean«are you playing the same preliminary fights playing on fox that will be playing for free that you could watch from the comforts of your home?» Then when you speak to the manager about such discrepancies in responses to questions, he will be EXTREMELY defensive and fight you on this question rather than try to resolve it. He will try to make you feel like an unreasonable annoying customer rather than speaking to you about your issue with their service. Overall, this place is awful. Go somewhere, anywhere else if you want a drink or a quick bite to eat. It just isn’t worth it no matter what. The only redeeming quality is that some of the waitresses seem like nice girls. I’ll leave those girls good tips. Other than that, this place is trash. Management is awful. And the food is less than average.

Hood rats abound!!! Place«was» ok in the past. The service«was» bearable and the food ok. Now– food is still ok but the service is effin horrible. The waitresses look like music video dancer rejects that got turned down after the casting couch session with the producer. And they have the same attitude. One walked around all night with ear buds in talking on the phone. Waiting for service was like waiting for the glaciers to melt! I could have brewed my own beer at the table while waiting for a refill. Another amazing aspect– bar wasn’t even near 30% capacity and they are out of glasses. So they served beers in small bud light plastic cups and still charged full price. The whole time the tables next to us had dozens of empty glasses sitting on them. Ear bud waitress apparently was too busy with her phone call to bus the tables. Yay! Go to DC’s down the block! You won’t sober up in between drinks. Have Fun

Tilted Kilt is the kind of place that I would go with a lot of friends but never with just a party of 1 or 2 people. There are so many TVs — its sports heaven. In fact, there are almost always specials going on during important games. I have also played trivia here. There is a large selection of beers available, but only a handful are crafts. Guinness is $ 7 a draft so pay attention to the specials! The service can be hit or miss; I have had great waitresses and bad ones. All of them have been very pleasant though. The wings are nothing special, but by no means bad. The parmesan fries though are very good, lots of flavor. As far as entrees go, I liked the bean wrap and the jalapeño burger was very good. When you order a burger medium, it actually comes medium. Big plus. I have never eaten dessert here because I always end up eating too much!

I stopped in here Saturday night after a painting class at Artevino, which is just around the corner. A friend of mine was at a different location and got chewed out by his girlfriend for coming here. I, of course, had to see what the big deal was. Verdict? She’s a head case. This place is no different than hooters. The bf and I came to the conclusion that the outfits at hooters may actually be «worse» simply because they’re tighter. The outfits the girls wear cover everything so really, it’s the same. As for the food and drink, I kept it simple and just ordered mozz sticks and a beer. The sticks were actually good but I would have preferred them to be hotter. I like when the cheese strings. It was kind of quiet for a Saturday night so I’m assuming it was because it’s Memorial Day weekend and most people had other plans. I don’t think there’s anything that really sets this place apart from Hooters or any other pub but I’d stop in again if I was in the area.
