One of the nicest clubs in the area without having to cross the river, be prepared to spend $ 15 a drink. Crowd was a lot of good looking yuppies. Music was good, but no dancing. There are 2 bar areas, the one in the back was a little less crowded and had a better crowd. The front room was packed with dudes trying to ass grab. All in all a fun night out after a romantic dinner. By the way no cover charge is always a win.

I think the New Décor is spot on! Also, Rebecca was extremely helpful and we are looking forward to a Great Happy Hour Event in April so I’m not sure why someone gave her a poor review. She was extremely professional, helpful and emailed me back right away! Looking forward to giving a stellar review. She was extremely helpful and hopefully if this goes well we will be having most of our events here… and outside of work as well! ~Jennifer

my girlfriends and i went to Lulus last night to celebrate a birthday… and it was soo much fun. The service at the bar was great. Alot of bartenders are just not that friendly and especially on a busy night in hoboken, but this particular bartender was really nice! he remembered my drink order and actually acknowledges you when your at the bar waiting.(at most other bars i have to kind of wave my hand around or whatever) Im a light weight when it comes to drinking… so after my 3rd drink i was HAMMERED! so i didnt get to thank the bartender for being so awesome. so hopefully if he/you read this… im the jameson and gingerale lady. THANKS! Now the sad part … it took 4 of our girlfriends over a half hour to get in! and it was cold last night! they literally got to the W 5 minutes after us. So what the problem is? the birthday girl had to personally go down and beg the doorman. after some effort and time wasted, they let the girls in. When i woke up in the morning feeling like p. diddy i looked in my group chat and all the ladies were talking about how much fun they had, so i guess we can look passed the hiccup in our night. OMG i just remembered when we went downstairs to wait for our other friends to come down we were chatting it up with three of the bouncers who were patient and nice… omg we must have been sooo annoying… if someone could relay a «sorry for being annoying» to them. All in all the night was a success.

I had such a great time here and will absolutely be back. Checked out the club after having a drink at their lounge downstairs and we were pleasantly surprised. The DJ was good, the ambiance is great because you have the NYC skyline in the background. Service at places like this is usually iffy, but that was not our experience! One of the managers, James, came over to make sure we were enjoying everything, and our server at our table, Samary, was very friendly; I can’t say one negative thing about our night. Everything was efficient, and the prices were reasonable. Yes it’s more expensive than the dive bars/pubs in Hoboken, but its significantly less expensive than Manhattan. Great alternative to hiking to the city for a more upscale club/lounge.

ONLYUSECASH… THEBARTENDERSWILLRIPYOUOFFIFYOUUSE A CARD. The location and views are nice. I went on a Friday to celebrate my friend’s birthday and I THOUGHT that everything was great. Music was great; the DJ did his thing. The employees were very nice. And the drinks, I don’t think they were pricey(compared to NYC) they were good. BUT when it came time to wrap up my tab… wow! I KNOW I did not buy that many rounds of drinks. And now it’s 3 days after our visit there and it seems that the charge on my card is MUCH more than what signed for. Now I think they are trying to take people for a loop since we(yes i’ve included myself) are quite inebriated by the time it comes to clear up your tab. But come on. My account today is $ 60 more than what I signed for. This had better be squared away by tomorrow. Just because you are in The W hotel does not mean that you can do whatever you want on the back end and think that you will get away with it. IF, and I say IF, I go back… I’m only bringing cash. F that!

For Halloween this year, we avoided the city at all cost but still wanted to party — the W Hotel in Hoboken was the answer. The Chandelier Room, located inside the W Hotel hosted a Halloween party. About 99% of the people who came dressed up, including the bartenders themselves. The drink prices were ridiculous but that was to be expected. I thought the kamikaze shots were the best I’ve ever had, and the gin and tonic wasn’t too shabby either. Kudos to the bartenders! The space was perfect, with 2 main rooms for you to roam and check out the competition.

Ridiculous. Never coming back here. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. We called ahead of time for my friend’s birthday to see if we needed a guest list/table/what-have-you, and were told that depending on the night, we can just walk in — no guest list needed. Three of our friends got there around 11:15pm and were allowed in. The rest of us(a group of mostly girls) arrived between 11:17pm and 11:20pm and were told to wait to the side until we were allowed to enter. Excuse me, Mister Ugly Bouncer, we will NOT wait to the side until you think it’s okay for us to enter! We asked to speak to the manager, at which point some other random bouncer comes out and rudely tells us we can stand to the side, and watch other groups of people who knew the other bouncer friends enter until it was our turn. Luckily, we took advantage of the valet parking(which is cheaper than parking in a deck in hobo, $ 20 for a Sat night in late September), and walked our way to another club where we had no problem passing the lines. Thanks, Chandelier Room, for having such crappy bouncers.

Worst place ever!!! Don’t get me wrong, the décor is beautiful, the view is awesome, but the overpriced drinks are unreal. 2 coronas 1 shot $ 43! And to top It off I left a tip on the card and when I checked my bank account they added more $$$$! Wtf save your money go elsewhere. P.s: a lot of old dudes with plastic surgery women who look like Daffy Duck, stretched out faces. If you like to be in an episode of real housewives of Beverly Hills then this is your place.

I’ve been here before and the décor, patio, and the view are amazing. Overall, a very cool chill spot. With that being said, getting in is a hit or miss even if you have an even number of guys/girls. There was practically no line and they were refusing people left and right. Pretty much the only ones getting in were half-naked chicks. The management really needs to do something about the bouncers. They seem to forget that they are just bouncers at a club in Hoboken and not some federal agents guarding something valuable! We were told that it was«VIP» only but if you stood there and watched, you can tell they were just on a power trip cause they were controlling the front door at The W. It was only«VIP» depending on who you were with and how many there were total.

I don’t know why this place gets such mixed reviews. The décor, view, and outdoor patio are insane! Yes, the drink prices are steep, but what the hell do you expect? Let’s see where else you can go in Hoboken like this… Nowhere. If you are really going to complain about shots being twenty dollars a piece, then don’t come here… You’re not getting conned. If you ask the bartenders how much drinks run you here, they’ll be more than happy to tell you. You’re paying for the nicest place to get a drink in Hoboken, period. The reasons why this place isn’t getting my full support: 1. The service could definitely be better. The way the place is laid out and the ratio of thirsty customers to bartenders is hurting the place. 2. Not much of a dance floor, as it’s mainly occupied by VIP tables, but what do you expect? 3. The crowd used to be better. A LOT better. There are still amazing nights to be had here, but one night the place will be bumpin’ and other nights, WOW just not what you expected. You should know and be prepared that you are going to spend money at the Chandelier Room. A little secret for you all: the prices are the same downstairs at the lobby bar and at the restaurant. There’s no conspiracy. Also, coming here and committing yourself to staying on a Friday or Saturday night is a gamble as the type of crowd is unpredictable.

Solid views, crummy service. Happened upon the Chandelier room post-Zylo dinner downstairs and so we were all pretty happy by the time we got up there. The staff was inattentive to our group outside(since there weren’t a ton of us and there was also no bar tender at the outside bar). It was a rainy and muggy evening, which was less than ideal, but you still could see the wonderful view across the river, which made the guests we were hosting quite happy.

The best thing about this place, is its design. Very cool chandelier structure inside, smart, classy, and memorable. The balcony gives you a great view of NYC, on a good night you could be out there until close with drink in hand and awesome views. Other then that this place was just ok… its meant to come across as upscale so for those of you who want to do some serious mingling, this is not the best place for you. For one, on a saturday night, it opens to the public at 1am… so it was a last stop for me needless to say. Its reservations only before that… so you basically need to go in a group to this place to have a decent time. Also, if your looking to bust a move on the dance floor, dont go here… its a lounge and theres no real dance floor unless you’ve had one too many drinks and create your own. Although there is an obvious DJ… and the MUSIC is really GOOD!!! I mean, it made me want to get up and dance but I felt like an idiot dancing in between the bar(thats where you order drinks, not dance) and table of people(they were pretty close, I would have flashed them). An lastly, it felt kind of snobbish, its in the w hotel, what do you expect, but not quite my cup of tea for a saturday night. Just OK… and whoever the DJ is, he needs to be in a serious night club, really good my man!

The views are amazing. Thats about the only positive thing going on here. I had a great time but 3 shots of vodka was $ 55? I think I got conned yo. I want my money back. The views are amazing, I partied outside on a warm summer evening and the space is truly dark, nice and pretty chic. But for reals, 3 shots of vodka for $ 55? I seriously think I got ripped off. Is that for real? NYC Meatpacking style ambiance in Hoboken. Not my scene but it is what it is.

We were in a private area for a private party, drinks were flowing, service was great, we didn’t eat any of the food but we drank plenty. Good times w/friends and the place was pretty cool.

***EDIT01⁄29 — I JUSTCHECKEDMYCREDITCARDBILLAND I WASFRAUDULENTLYBILLEDANEXTRA $ 104!!! STAYAWAYFROMTHISBUSINESS!!!******* Beware of being over charged for your drinks. A group of friends went to the chandelier room last night for some drinks after a birthday dinner. I’m not much of a lounge frequenter these days, but no complaints or surprises as far as the actual lounge goes — you’ve got your typical line, your rude bouncers, your people way too eager to impress inside, etc, etc — you know– the cliché lounge experience. But again, I was fully aware of what I was getting into, and it was for a friend’s birthday, so hey, I took one for the team. If that was my review, I’d give this place three stars. The view is great, the place is full, but not overly crowded, and getting a drink was easy enough. However, this is not why I’m writing. When we first arrived, I ordered three drinks — two beers and a mixed drink. The bartender Vanessa charged me $ 34. Oddly, the receipt was not itemized. I was a little taken aback since we’re in Hoboken, but figured it was the W, so whatever, no big deal. Later, as I waited for to get Vanessa’s attention for a 2nd round of drinks, the group next to me suddenly became hostile towards her about their bill. They were complaining about being charged $ 35 for two shots. I casually observed as at first Vanessa offered to charge them $ 25, then as the manager was called over, who waived the costs of their drinks and offered free drinks all night. He then took Vanessa to the side and they were whispering to each other. I thought that was very generous, and was impressed at the manager’s handling of the situation… but it also made me consider that maybe this bartender was over charging people. Soon after, Vanessa approached me about my order. This time it was one beer and one mixed drink. Total? $ 33.Again no itemized receipt. To review — $ 34 for two beers and a mixed drink & $ 33 for the same one beer and same one mixed drink. I confronted Vanessa about my bill, and as I showed her my first receipt, tears began streaming down her face. Her first solution was that I just don’t tip her for either bill and we’d be even– as she admitted to over charging me. I said I wanted to speak to her manager. She started crying harder and said she’d be fired. At that point the bar back dude came over and offered a round of free drinks for my ‘troubles’. Instead of getting the manager involved and getting this crying bartender fired(which she probably deserved), my group instead decided to leave. We obviously won’t be back. Would I advise going to this place? I guess if you’re looking for the lounge experience in Hoboken, that also has a great NYC view, you don’t have many(any?) other options… what I would advise is keeping a close eye on your bill — It seems like they’ve got a little price gouging operation going on behind the bar.

This lounge is a sweet gem tucked away inside the W hotel in Hoboken. Very upscale spot situated practically on the water and offers stunning views of NYC. We came on a Wednesday night and enjoyed a lot of space, but I’m sure this is the type of spot that fills up very quickly on weekends.

Amazing view. Pretentious crowd. What do I mean by pretentious? You’ll see guys here in their sport coats trying so desperately to impress their friends, which can be entertaining at times. The manhattan skyline view is amazing. Honestly, the only reason this place gets 3.5 stars is because the W hotel, in general, is amazing. Great interior, excellent service, great staff, great drinks. My only problem is the rude bouncers, whom may at times seem outwardly racist. But, I have my biases as well so let’s just say that these bouncers are ignorantly«selective.» Every time i’m here, its usually for a special occasion and not just a regular night out. Most of the time, it ends up being an entertaining night. Don’t come here unless you’re willing to spend.

Sad really. Such a lovely space. Such stunning views. But the crowd is not my cup of tea. The happy hour specials were pretty good but not a lot of people here after work. Looks more like a night time spot… The restrooms are clean and pretty nice! Also, they have charging stations for your cellular devices.

I have to say this place offers a killer view of the Manhattan skyline! The Chandelier Room has a pretty nice outside balcony area to hang out in when the weather cooperates with a view of NYC along with a solid happy hour all night on Thursdays. $ 4 mixed rack drinks and bottled beer. A group of us decided to check it out after last night’s Unilocal event downstairs. No cover charge which was pretty sweet. The inside bar area has a cool décor with some chic fun seating and even a fireplace. This room was devoid of all human life so we meandered out on the balcony bar area and that is where a small crowd had gathered. Some seating out there with the basic Top 40/Urban/Dance music playing, ESPN on the flat screens, and a mix of Jerseyites and hotel guests around the bar. Kind of a strange looking mix of a crowd though. Had no problem getting a few mixed drinks and beers from the bartender. Quick service but it was not too crowded last night. Drinks were ok, and I had a Dos Equis since I was dressed in a suit and feeling like«The Most Interesting Man In The World». Beer selection was the standard no-imagination group of Blue Moon, Miller Lite, Bud Light, Dos Equis, and a few others. Meh, but at least it was cheap with the happy hour. Cocktails were made with rack liquor, but again, it was happy hour cheap. It’s one of those spots that I had to check out while we were at the W Hotel last night. Might only come back here if staying there for a few nights on a «staycation» but heard it can be a bit pricey for weekend partying.

I’ve had no problems with admittance into this place, but I’ve heard several people do. I know when they have private parties or «celeb» parties(a.k.a– the housewives of NY/NJ) they shut the place down. A little ridiculous. Anyway, this place is gorge. If you haven’t seen my review of the W in Hoboken, mosey on over to that. This is just an extension of that. It’s a nice club/lounge within the hotel. The music varies depending on what days you go… friday is usually hip hop, saturdays is that awful, ear-bleeding house music. Ugh. Most of the time there’s no cover, but you will pay about $ 20 for a drink. No bueno, but what do you expect? I ordered two shots and the total was $ 25! Definitely go dressier if you’re coming here. Bouncers are strict, guys– take note! My bf had to button his shirt before entering.(what a slobbone, right?) I go shoe and dress shopping here, as opposed to looking for eye candy. The men are just WAYTOOOLD and the girls far too young. Luckily, I have my bf so no need to worry about the creepos.
