The space is nice and Rossy, the owner, is a very sweet lady, and to her credit she did not charge me a penny which I found very ethical. However my experience was an unqualified disaster. The crux of the matter was that she did not hear or take in my instructions. I told her, more than once, that I wanted the same shape kept but five weeks of growth removed. Instead, to my horror, she cut everything quite close completely reshaping my hair and removing all my curls and waves. In all human relations, communication, mostly the act of listening, is the key to success. Rossy, for what ever reason, did not listen and hear what I told her. I am a stage actor and am trained to speak clearly with very clear diction. There was a second issue which I will not go into, which was nearly as distressing. Be really careful when dealing with Rossy that she fully understands your wishes and instruction, or you will have a maddening and horrible experience as I did!

I bought an Amazon local for a Brazilian wax and the space was really cold (like they did not want to spend $ to turn the heat on).
The lady doing my wax was talkative and friendly but the waxing job was below average. There were several hair remaining and wax left of my skin. I also did not like the type of wax they used.
I will not be returning.

I’ve been coming to Rossy for a couple years now it’s always a great experience. Excellent service for great prices. Also, guys get a free cleanup between haircuts! Highly recommend.

Rossy is great. I have been going to her for years. She always listens and understands what I am looking for with my hair and I always love the way it comes out and the prices are reasonable. I’ve also seen how she is with other customers and she really values her relationships with her customers.
I’ve lived in Manhattan the past six years but I’ve been coming to Hoboken for my hair with Rossy ever since. Totally worth the PATH train ride!

I have been going here for many years. The services are excellent and the prices are very competitive compared to the other salons in the area. The highlight placement is excellent and is comparable to the quality that you will receive at way more expensive salons.

Rossy is a true artist with hair and she is amazing with people. She is also extremely helpful when I have important meetings or events — opening early or closing late — to accommodate the schedule. She’s great with blowouts, keratin, and even kids haircuts of all ages and hair lengths. My family and friends now all go to her after just trying her once. Really tough find find good value, excellent customer service, and great quality of service and products all in one place. I feel fortunate to have found all in one place.

Rosie is a fantastic stylist. Everything from color, cuts, hair extensions, keratin treatments. Including Men’s haircuts. I generally have fine limp hair and she is one of the few stylists that is able to give my hair amazing body and bounce! In addition she custom colors, and cuts my hair extensions to match my hair beautifully. The salon also offers a hair restoration center, which has a low level laser service which boosts the growth of thinning hair. The treatment only takes 15 minutes. The salon also has great hours and is open late on certain evenings to accommodate clients! Love this place :)
