Timely delivery, but regarding taste and texture, it was on par with the worst ‘pizza’ I’ve ever had. The chopped bell pepper, however, was fresh and not from a #10 can.

They deliver to JC at 3am, unlike those ‘other’ pizza shops. Pizza is really fresh and hot. Solid place.

I order from this place every once in a blue moon. The only reason I don’t stop is because their wings are half decent. However if you don’t need to use their delivery service, id say refrain. They always take forever and unless your okay with waiting an hour and 15 minutes for an incomplete meal, and waiting another hour for your cold onion rings to get to your door, go for it! I think next time I’ll take that 5 minute bike ride over.

So, I have to preface this review — I have never actually laid eyes on Old Lorenzo’s. Not even walking by on the street. Instead, I’ve only enjoyed their cuisine from the comforts of my living room. I’m a sucker for delivery, and this place has stolen my heart. Their menu is extensive, and perhaps somewhat intimidating if you’re not sure what to order. Everything from simple appetizers to salads, sandwiches and burgers, and — duh — pizza. Their pizza has instantly been a hit among every group of friends that has visited me in Hoboken. It’s a perfect late-night go-to, and delivery has always been speedy and without hiccups. Try their buffalo chicken pizza if you haven’t already. I’m also a sucker for classic, comfort foods — you need to try their chicken fingers. Deliciously crispy(and not the least bit soggy from being delivered), all-white meat breaded amazingness. The portions are always more than satisfying, and the prices cannot be beat. Their waffle fries, sandwiches, and salads have also all been perfection. Next time, skip the late night order from Cluck-U and try Old Lorenzo’s instead.

Pretty decent American-style pizza at average price range. Would recommend for a quick bite made by an Old Lorenzo.

Had a really bad experience ordering from them via . Order took about 1 ½ hours to be delivered after two calls checking in on it along the way. My girlfriend and I had a really difficult time communicating with the guy on the phone. When they showed up, they forgot my fries so I called them and they said they’d send someone over. A hour later, no fries so I called and got my money back. Not ordering here again. UPDATE: After posting this review I received my fries. The next day I was at work and noticed I had about 14 missed calls. Turns out it was old Lorenzo’s. The owner expressed concern and pointed out he sent over a cheesecake and the fries for free. Good to know they’re paying attention.

I ordered delivery: chicken parmigiana. The delivery man climbed to my fifth floor walk-up. The dish was hot and flavorful. A large portion with fresh basil, sliced breaded chicken, and plenty of cheese and sauce, this dish well exceeded my expectations for a pizza joint. Also, it was one of the only places delivering at the hour I ordered.

I moved out of Hoboken a few months go for work, and i must say that i really miss this place! Just about everything i had here was delicious. I usually ended up ordering the eggplant parm(easily enough for 2!) and it was sooo good! Also have good pizza and salads.

I love the chicken cutlet subs, calzones and salads from here, but the sweet potato fries are terrible… they’re usually soggy. The pizza sauce is a bit sweet for my taste, but the dough is always fresh. Food aside, the delivery person is incredibly nice and always delivers on time.

I feel bad giving them a less than stellar review because they seem nice, but I have given them a couple chances(delivery, pick up) The pizza, in my opinion wasnt very good. something about the dough it is thick and soft, but not doughy in a good way. the cheese/sauce is kinda ehh $ 2.50 a slice, it’s a good size, so that’s a fair price.

Well that was painful. Note to owners: When you have an offer of 15% off the first order– honor it. I called and was told that I must order online for any discounts… which I did… still no discount. Don’t use canned mushrooms. Don’t used canned garlic. Don’t use crappy thinly sliced tiny sausage– if you do, can’t you use more? This was supposed to be a birthday celebration this evening… a Tuesday pizza and wine night. Thank god the wine we purchased elsewhere was fantastic! This pizza is not worth $ 36.00 !!! What a hard lesson tonight.

this was some of the best pizza i have had in hoboken. I had a veggie pizza, the topings were fresh and there was plenty of cheese. I also had a salad that was piled high with fresh veggies. Very good!

Delivery was a little slow but the pizza was good. The waffle fries were a little soggy but well seasoned.(I suspect the sogginess was a result of the slow delivery time). The pizza tasted even better the next day.
