I had the turkey club with an iced coffee, i was impressed! I enjoyed the every bite a bit pricy but worth coming back with friends and loved ones. I havent tried the garage area but looks great!

Loved this place! Stopped by with two friends and our pup who was warmly welcomed. Had the hot house and Monroe pizza which I highly recommend. Also ordered the arugula salad to start which was also fantastic. Loved the Zen backyard, very secluded and could spend hours back there. Will be back.

So rude! Customer service was terrible. It was as if they don’t want you to be there. First and last time.

Will Be Back for More Event: Not much to eat at home for dinner, so decided to try something different and close. Given the proximity to my apartment, needed to try this sooner than later. Food: 2 slices of pizza. Surprisingly, this was pretty solid. Good balance of cheese, sauce and crust. The sauce was the star, crust was a tad soft, but ok. Good size slice, made the $ 3 stretch further Service: No hassles, no issues. Bottom line: With such a wide range of menu options and the backyard, i imagine there will be more opportunities to come here with others. A good find in the neighborhood.

A decent coffee shop around the hood. The drinks are limited but way enough for traditional coffee drinkers like me. The shop serves some mad quiche though I usually aim for cookies and pastry. The staffs are quite friendly and even offered me additional cookies since the one that I wanted was broken. There is a back garden with additional seating sharing with the pizza house. A lil cute Zen garden with many random stuffs. My only complaint would be the music can be quite loud indoor. I went there with a pal but ended up screaming at each other, but returned back to normal volume when we moved to the Zen garden

Location: a neighborhood based coffee place. While I was walking, I need someplace to take a rest but the neighborhood here is so inmate that they do not have much coffee places. Thanks this store, I can take a short rest. The decoration includes some old car plates and country side antiques, very reminded me of southern styles Coffee ha d coffee but turned out thyme offer cream and milk at the time. Wow They also have food to eat And they have wifi. Service: lady is nice but asked me when I already said i don’t want any other dessert even though it was indeed a lunch time. I mean she is nice but … Anyway 3.5

Hoboken Hot House is pricey but good. The iced coffee is delicious! The sandwiches are pretty good as well, but sometimes aren’t made the same.

Cute breakfast place tucked away off the main thoroughfare in Hoboken. My wife and I shared a chicken focaccia sandwich(which was delicious) and I had a double espresso(which was strong). The place is small, so it’s not ideal for large groups. There is outdoor seating, however, which can be nice in the summer. The only negative thing I have to say is when I went to pick-up our sandwich, the lady rudely asked if it was mine. Why would I be taking somebody else’s sandwich lady?!?

While I live a bit closer to Little Grocery, I decided to change up my Saturday routine and head to the Hot House. I can say this is another excellent neighborhood spot. I ordered bacon and egg on a cheese biscuit and felt like a baller. Loved it.

I live next door so this place is really convenient. I always go to Aputia for coffee and treats so the Hot House is a nice little addition to the neighborhood. I stopped by today for a quick bite and ordered the Monroe. It totally hit the spot. Fresh arugula, mozzarella and prosciutto. So Good. Need to come back and try the rest of the menu. The other pies and sandwiches sound great.

First time here and on a Saturday morning. Pleasant surprise for breakfast in Hoboken so early. Had a turkey club, which came on a ciabatta(?) roll and it hit the spot– I’d get it again. My skim latte was very good too. Meant to get a Blondie for later but was so satiated, we forgot…

Really lovely neighborhood café with a cute back garden. Good coffee and friendly service. And they are also super dog friendly! My only wish is that the free wifi extends to the garden. I could spend the entire day back there.

Cute place without a doubt. Love the rustic feel it has going on, all their décor is definitely my style. I enjoyed a ham(regular ham, they don’t have taylor ham), egg and cheese on a croissant. The croissant was pressed and grilled, which gave a unique taste/texture, which I liked. Only problem is, its SOO small. I’m pretty sure they made my sandwich on half a croissant… there’s no way it was made on a full one. Further more, it was really pricey too. I’m not cheap by any means and I am not shy about spending a pretty penny for some awesome food but quantity is just as important as quality. Unfortunately in this situation the lack of quantity masked the good quality. Give me more bang for my buck Hothouse! Also — the time posted on Unilocal for Sunday hours is wrong. I was in there around 9AM and according to Unilocal it doesn’t open until 11AM.

I held a bridal shower here in a weekend in April. Weather was sunny, and the event was a hit. First, the venue is adorable. We had the garden in the back which is decorated with café type seating with eclectic pieces(a birdcage here, a marble head there). We had a mad hatter theme and worked perfectly with the venue. The guests had a ton of compliments in finding the spot. Second, Karen, the owner was fantastic. She worked with me to build the menu to match the style of the event, and she fed us till we were stuffed. We were actually getting pretty full after we went through the pizza, meatballs and salad forgetting that we still had quiche. A bartender provided us mimosas and sangria. And again, they had a ton of alcohol leftover with what they were planning to give us! She was just amazingly generous in plying us with food and liquor and as a host was just so accommodating in the preparation. And the rate was more than fair — I will definitely look for another excuse to throw a summer event at her place! Anyway, the event was a success and that’s a large part due to her hospitality. Would definitely recommend hosting a summer event in their garden.

Honestly, I wanted to like this place because it is so needed in this neck of the woods. I’ve been twice now, once I went to grab a couple cannolis as I heard they were amazing. Well, they were not. They are already pre-filled which is a cannoli no-no. And I use the term filled lightly. They had a tiny squirt in each end and nothing in the middle. These cannolis were $ 4.50 a piece! Yikes! No thanks. I can go to Giorgio’s or even Shoprite and get them cheaper and with filling throughout. Second trip, we stopped in around 10am on a Sunday hoping maybe they’d have some sort of breakfast sandwich. Nope, just regular lunch paninis and a couple of not so appetizing looking quiches. We ordered a «large“coffee, iced coffee a blueberry muffin and a scone. The total was over $ 14. Way overpriced for what we got, the coffee was meh and so were the pastries. Honestly, this place is grossly over priced and doesn’t offer much but an overpriced cup of coffee and free wi-fi. I won’t come back.

We came here for a friend’s birthday party and had a wonderful time! Décor: Our friends rented out the back garage and back yard/patio for the party and both had such a cool vibe. The garage was a nice open space with some vintage items(for sale…) in it. But there was a bar and plenty of chairs for everyone. Plus, with the garage doors open, there is even more space out on the sidewalk. The back patio/yard is so neat with a wall of bamboo and plenty of shaded tables. While we didn’t stay into the evening, I’m confident it be equally cool b/c they have strings of lights hanging above. Bathroom: It was clean and inviting and had a cool vintage vibe. Staff: We didn’t have too much interaction with he staff, save for the«bartender.» He was super friendly and very accommodating. Food/Drink: The food was way more than expected. In addition to a ton of finger food appetizers, they fired up the grill to make hotdogs(reg and Jumbo) and sliders — all were perfectly cooked. They also had plenty of beer, wine, and homemade sangria(which had a «secret ingredient that made it better than any other sangria I’ve ever tasted). Value: I can’t comment on the cost b/c the party was fully paid for by our friends. Although I’m not a big coffee drinker, I definitely want to come back. In fact, I want to have a party there! It’s such an awesome little gem!
