Susanna is the best! She works privately now. She helped me alter a wedding dress I bought online. It was a lot of work making sleeves and waist fit right. We basically changed whole style of dress. She was perfectionist and we had fittings in sections to ensure each part was exact. Definitely recommended.

I am not sure what person did mean about his«whatever» tuxedo review, but I have been using Susana’s place for a year now for all my custom tailoring. I am extremely picky about my suits and shirts. I like my stuff super sharp and European looking. All my shirts are custom tailored and I had try before many places. But at Susana’s she charges me very little(compare to everyone else) and does amazing job. I used to use this supposely«super pro» and«amazing» alternation guy with his own studio. I had to go 3!!! times to him to get my shirts right!!! and he was charging a premium price where I would expect premium work. I do not mind paying for a great job, but not premium price for mediocre price. So, back to Susana’s. So far she did over 30 of my shirts and she got it right from first fitting!!! I order shirts from England and she makes them look on me amazingly fitted. Also, she does my suits. I explained to her that i want a nice sharp European slim fit. I have a few Hugo Boss and Versace suits and I brought to her a few 5th Ave Sacks suits I got on a nice sale. She made my suits look like they are Versace suits worth of a few thousands!!! A few of my co-workers went to her after they saw my shirts and they came back very satisfied. Yes, sometime my shirts took a while to get back. I think it was due to her busy schedule with weddings. 7 shirts took probably two weeks, but honestly that is not too bad. Other guy made me wait month and half for suit and 5 shirts! I am not sure about the dog, I have never seen the dog there before. I did not even know she has a dog and i talked to her a few times while she was fitting me. I would definitely recommend her. She is old school and it takes her long time to do stuff, but i like that. I would rather wait and get it right from first time, then go back and forth or get it ruined.

Super nice, professional lady and very personal service. Susana, the owner, tailored our wedding dresses to a perfect fit. It was two weeks before our wedding and she was able to finish tailoring the dresses. All in all, amazing person to work with and exceptional service. She even offered to shorten my belt for free!!!

This place is the worst cleaners I have been to. I asked to have pants pressed and dried cleaned. When I got the pants back they were more wrinkled than before. They put 3 pants on 1 of those cheap hangers that dry cleaners use. When I was walking home the pants started to fall off. I took them off the hanger when I got home and realized that the damn pants were so wrinkled they could not be worn. Avoid this dry cleaner at all costs. If this continues I forsee this place going out of business for doing such crappy work.

I tried Citadel Cleaners after a bad experience at Courtyard Cleaners… Somehow my dry cleaning ending up taking 2.5 days longer than it was supposed to here, as well, but the owner was very nice and pleasant. She ended up declining to take my money and I will definitely try Citadel Cleaners again based on her customer service.

aka Susanna’s Bridal Boutique Thank you Thu V. for the review. I highly recommend checking out Susanna if you are looking to have a gown custom made. Susanna, supposedly known to many as Mother Theresa, is everything I want in a seamstress; a gray-haired, little italian lady that has a passion for sewing, a like of victorian fashion and a small pampered pooch named Mickey, who happens to have her own couch in the shop. My body type frequently requires alterations, so I strive to find a tailor soulmate wherever I live. Susanna is amazingly talented. She showed me this mirrored Monique Lhuiller bridal gown she made of french lace for 1⁄3 the price. It was absolutely stunning. I am wearing a strapless gown for a wedding which means constant tugging up of the dress. I originally thought I wanted to get a halter strap attached to the dress, but Susanna suggested we try a corset without boning instead. The dress looked great and I was still comfortable and less self-conscious. She altered the corset to fit like one of those tiny stretchy gloves.

I had my wedding dress altered here by the owner, Susana. She was absolutely WONDERFUL. She has this charm about her like she is your own mother or crazy aunt and her dog(a Pekinese) is the cutest little thing. My gown was a sample dress from a designer, therefore I bought it 4 sizes bigger than I was. It was a mermaid shape and had to be tailored perfectly to fit correctly and it had 3 layers of material to it as well as a few repairs to the dress itself due to it being a sample. I also had to have the dress hemmed, and had her create a bustle on my dress. In total, I paid $ 500 — alterations, hem, bustle, cleaning & Steaming, as well as getting a bustier bra for my dress through her. REALLYGOODDEAL. I was worried about having just anyone alter the gown, because it was a designer gown; however, going to see Susana and seeing the other dresses that she had created on her own, I was very confident in her as a seamstress. Plus the fact that she was super cute. She will take your dress in as early as 6 months ahead of time where she will take an initial estimate of all the work that needs to be done, but will not do any actual cutting until a month before the wedding. This is actually to save her work, because brides tend to fluctuate in weight /size dramatically within the last month of their wedding. She will have your dress finished, steamed, and cleaned 2 weeks before the big day — if you do have any extra alterations even then, she can do it in a week! Also — the nice thing she did was that she handstitched my hemline, that way if I wanted to sell my dress and that person was taller, they could release the hem at least! PERFECT! She is absolutely wonderful and the dress fit like a glove!
