Food is pretty good but the service there, today, was bad. I ordered a salad and 20 minutes had passed and the only server working there had not yet brought me the salad. There were only 4 to 5 tables of people there as well. They were not busy. She was busy sweeping under tables. She(Ashley, name on my receipt) should have prepared my salad before cleaning under unused tables. I told her to forget it. Another thing I’d like to mention is(used to anyways, may still do it, I don’t know) servers would always prepare the salads with their bare hands and not wash them before preparing the salad in the back of the kitchen. I watched them do this, I watched as I was going to the restroom in the back of the restaurant and just looked to the left. Watched the server put down a drink tray and start making a salad. We used to go to this restaurant a lot but the negative details have kept us from going back. Today was my first time back in several years and don’t plan to go back. Just bad servers which is ultimately bad management.

Pizza was pretty fairly good. A nice change from the regular pizza chains. Lots of cheese on my pepperoni and sausage pizza. Crust was good. Could have used a little more sauce.

I have been craving NY style pizza every since I moved out of Brooklyn in June and this is as good as it gets! I will definitely be back for a slice or two of pepperoni!

Having been to the one in Douglasville and really enjoying it, we decided to try this one. This one is not nearly as nice. First even the restaurant itself isn’t as nice as the Douglasville location, it’s dirtier and has a completely different atmosphere to it. The staff was not nearly as friendly. When we first walked in, no one greeted us, acknowledged us, smiled at us or came to meet us even though we saw a few employees. We ordered wings and asked for them extra crispy. They weren’t. We sent them back and they returned more blackened than crispy. Only then were we told that they didn’t have a fryer and they cook the wings in the oven. Perhaps we should’ve been told that in the first place.

Decided to try it again, but not getting just a slice. Service still excellent… this location is on the ball! Friday night special was a large two item pizza, two salads, and an appetizer for $ 22. Salads were really good, fresh lettuce, paper thin red onions, cucumber, grape tomatoes and fresh mushrooms. Naturally Fresh and Marzetti dressings(both are brands that I buy for home). Got the bruschetta as an appetizer… wasnt really classic bruschetta since it was hot and had melted cheese on top… whaaaa?!? Tasty, but not bruschetta. Pizza was much, much better than on previous visit. Is it lombardi quality? Nope. But it had a thin, crisp crust, lots of toppings, not too much sauce. We had ordered half with fresh tomatoes and they had taken the time to core and seed the tomatoes… I notice things like that. All in all, much improved, so I bumped it up a star.

Yesterday was a «I want pizza NOW!» kinda day for me and one of my co-workers said that this was the best place to get a slice of pizza. After eating there I would agree, but their salad is gross. I can’t help but to compare them to Mellow Mushroom since they’re across the street from each other. MM’s Greek salad is amazing and the dressing is what makes the difference. The dressing here is literally oil and vinegar(maybe with some oregano sprinkled on). While we’re talking about it, MM’s pizza tasted fresher, but that might have been because I ordered by the slice and they’re pre-made. Regardless, it was still a good slice.
