Lasagne, fettuccine alfredo, lava cake, wine. all excellent! Little pricey but worth it.

Awesome, awesome, awesome Italian. Great pizza, fluffy crust. Their bread is baked fresh, oil is with crushed peppers, roasted garlic. This is a serious place! Very cute setup, no big show off but, man the food is awesome!

Absolutely delicious!!! Hidden gem of the island. Highly recommend! Our group had linguine with clams, spaghetti with meatballs, gluten free Alfredo penne, and lasagna. All were excellent!

Although they asked for reservations we were able to get right in. Parking a bit of a challenge. Lasagna and spaghetti were excellent!

Our favorite restaurant on Hilton Head. We are locals, and eat there at least once a month. The food is consistently superb. I have severe food allergies and Miguel is always very accommodating. We have never had a bad meal, and I always get«the special,» as he will make things just for me. We have taken out of town guests there, and all have been very pleased. The entire wait staff is great, but Steven is one of the best servers we’ve ever had on the island and beyond. He is delightful. Pazzo is by far my favorite restaurant! What more can I say?!!

We ate there with a group of five this evening. Very casual atmosphere. Red checkered table cloth charm, but cramped. The staff could not have been more accomadating to our requests. Steven our waiter was one of the best severs we have had on our vacations anywhere. Decent wine menu for a small restaurant. Calamari was excellent, bread with dipping sauce excellent, Mahi Mahi special was outstanding. The crème Brule was very good, other desserts were just ok. Chicken Sorrentino was very good, Veal Piccata thin and tender. The pasta that came with the meals was cooked aldente, without having to ask. Bolenese sauce was fair and typical. Magherti pizza crust was good, but the pizza did not have much flavor. They take reservations. We would return.

Some folks on the beach recommended Pazzo to us. My wife has a gluten intolerance so eating Italian has been next to impossible for the past several years. We went there and asked if they had any GF menu items and they said they had GF pasta and could work with her on her order. She ordered a special with fresh Mahi and it came out perfectly. I had my favorite veal piccatta which was delicious. The wine, dessert and service were outstanding, as well. We will definitely be back when back in HH.

Excellent experience through and through. They do take reservations. We enjoyed the break and the fantastic dipping oil with garlic, seasoning, and sundries tomatoes. Followed that up with some tasty Calamari. My 10 year old ordered the cheese pizza and it was HUGE! He absolutely loved it, the crust was fantastic. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the fettuccini alfredo, it was perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich and creamy. I ordered the lasagna, and while it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting(the noodles were a tad over cooked), it was still tasty and I cleaned my plate. Would definitely recommend if you are craving Italian on the island.

Exceptional! We found this via Unilocal and it didn’t disappoint. We didn’t reserve but they found us a table and I’m so glad as its one of the nicest restaurants I’ve been to. The waitress was perfect, friendly, but not in your face, polite, smiling and knowledgable. The food was delicious. Fresh, tasty and quick. Compliments to the chefs… It’s a small venue and doesn’t look like much from outside, but don’t let that put you off. Wine menu is good and not overpriced. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised by the bill. I’d go again if ever in Hilton Head and would highly recommend.

So glad we came tonight. We are the type who love intimate, not over the top fancy, but good quality places. This was perfect for our first night of vacation. The service was warm and courteous, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable for the area. If you’re staying in Palmetto Dunes you can ride your bike over. At the table we had caprese salad, Caesar salad, eggplant Parmesan, and shrimp fettuccini. I appreciate that the atmosphere was not loud but relaxing and perfect for enjoying a glass of wine.

Yummyyyyyyyyyy… will definitely go here again… food was really good. There are only like 10 tables though so you may want to make a reservation before you go. I didn’t know it was that small or I definitely would have. Their Alfredo sauce was delicious but could have used more garlic… Only complaint. :)

Nice intimate Italian restaurant — cozy seating and attentive servers. I ordered eggplant parmigiana; a leap if faith since so many restaurants do too much to it but I’m happy to say it was not heavily breaded and not greasy at all in fact it was light and very tasty! Companions devoured veal piccata and a pizza with sausage basil and tomato Healthy portions too including wine. I had the house pino Grigio and a glass of the Sangiovese both nice and good pour. The bread served with the olive oil was really tasty! No room for dessert. It’s a small place so it might be a good idea to make reservations

Loved it. Our server was wonderful, the wine was great, and they weren’t shy about the pour! One of the chefs came out to deliver or entrées, and he was incredibly friendly. The bread was devoured in minutes; the spices and herbs they mix are delightful, and the bread presentation is really smart. I enjoyed the Chicken Picatta immensely, and if I were staying longer, I’d go back for sure!

Intimate, authentic italian restaurant. So glad we tried this place. The dishes were very similar to home-cooked meals I’ve had, made by my native Italian friend. Everything is cooked-to-order. So fresh. Impressive little wine list. We had our kids with us, so missed out on the full experience. Other reviews mention Brian being the cats meow. I’m sure he is, but Virginia was our server. She was also knowledgable, and by far the best server we encountered while on the island. Traveling with little ones can be brutal, and you don’t always feel welcome everywhere you go. She went above and beyond to give our boys(and us) a great experience. I read another review describing the mushroom ravioli. My taste buds were all set– this is one of my all time favorite dishes. I was so sad to hear it was only offered as a special, and wasn’t on the menu that night. Virginia recommended the Pollo al Funghi instead. My goodness. It was so good. I was stuffed from indulging in too much bread before our food arrived. I took it back to our hotel and enjoyed every last bite. My husband had the rigatoni with seafood(it was a nightly special.) He went on and on about how fantastic it was, which surprised me because he is all about the heavy sauces with his pasta. Our boys split the«personal» pizza. It’s a pretty good portion. Would be good for 2 adults to share at lunch with some appetizers. Very yummy crust, the perfect crispness. Don’t miss this hidden gem. It’s a real treasure.

I first went to Pazzo in summer 2012. This year we went back to Pazzo, the first stop once in town. As usual it was wonderful. Got the lasagna and it melts in your mouth. The marinara sauce made with san marzano tomatoes is just to die for. Wife got the veal saltimbocca and the sauce, yummy. I just can’t say enough about this place. Service was outstanding. Classic italian that never fails year after year. Really!

Best Italian food and service for a family on the island. We are 20yr HHI vets and this is hands down one of the best dining experiences we have had. Ask for Brian and let him skillfully help you select wine and food pairings. You will love your meal! Cheers

I try really hard not to give out 5-star reviews, so on the rare occasions that I do give 5-stars, then you know it’s something truly extraordinary. Pazzo Italian Café was amazing. My wife chose Pazzo for her birthday dinner because(a) she was sick of me dragging her to every southern-seafood-cheesy-grits-and-hush-puppies restaurant on Hilton Head Island, and(b) because of the awesome Unilocal reviews. As previous reviewers have written, Brian is AWESOME. We went for an early dinner to beat the crowds and lucked into having Brian as our server. Great, friendly, prompt and attentive service with personality. I was going to go with something boring and safe, but Brian talked me out of it. He said, you can get that anywhere, and he strongly encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and try the veal special. I was very glad I took his advice. It was mouth-wateringly delicious. Much to my surprise, my kids loved their dinner, too(one had pizza, the other had spaghetti and meatballs). The cannoli we had for dessert was delicious, too.

Came at 4 pm. Told not open until 4:15 and could not sit with glass of wine. Went next door to neat shop and returned in 20 min. No one there. Beas told I could not sit outdoors — so asked for sole window table. «NO reserved». Asked when. Told at 6:30 — 2 hours away. So sat 20 min later she came for order. Asked for water, another 10 min. Asked for their great bread and oil dip — 10’min The pizza is great. But Crystal is by far the worst waitress on Hilton Head
