Excellent choice for a book store. I was amazed on large selections they have. It’s like being a kid in a candy store for people who LOVES books. Definitely recommend this store to my friends and family.

With Borders closed down, there aren’t many choices in Hilo when it comes to books. Some of the titles from Borders made it’s way to Hilo Bay Books but most are used and I was surprised to see they have such a large selection. Everything is packed in there and all organized neatly and orderly. All we need are big comfy chairs to sit and peruse.
