I received a fruit arrangement from my colleagues for my dad’s recent death. I received the arrangement on Wednesday and immediately placed the basket in the refrigerator. When I went to serve the fruit to my guests following my father’s wake Friday evening, the fruit was molded. Wow!!! I did phone the store to speak with the manager to advise them that the fruit was bad, never received a return call, so I called them back to complain. I was told that they fruit should have been eaten immediately, when I explained that this wasn’t possible because of the preparations for my father’s burial, I was basically told too bad, but they could send me chocolate covered strawberries. No thank you, they may be molded under the chocolate. Very disappointing. I won’t purchase anything else from this chain and have advised my colleagues to dispute the purchase. YUCK!
