Vino 100

Nice selection of reasonably priced wines. Clear and accurate descriptions make choosing a wine easy even for the non wine snobs! Very friendly and helpful service.

A smile, a sample, and 100 fabulous wines and champagnes for $ 25 and under await you at Vino 100. They have a fun array of gifts, cheeses, and wine accessories to choose from as well. The owner, a most humble wine enthusiast greeted us with five of their wines to taste, and some tasty little vanilla crackers. He was very knowledgeable, and was very open to our barrage of questions.
We had some Christmas shopping in mind and chose a delicious and clean stainless-​steel aged white (I think it was a chardonnay) with gold flake in it. And we also chose a multi-​faceted red called «Layer Cake». They have events planned every month, which I mean to attend, and they are now in my top ten places to go to buy wine.
Update: Just stopped by there recently, and it was still fantastic. I forgot to mention that they have a little description for each wine, and charts to show you the body and sweet/​dryness factor. A GREAT place for those who are starting to learn about wine. I hope to attend their «Wining Women» event soon.
