Oregon Spine and Disc

Dr. Hamlin and the staff are absolutely great. I’ve had chronic back pain for so long that I forgot what it feels like to be out of pain. The pain is not completely gone (lots of sports injuries), but I have my life back and I’m not taking any pain meds! He recently diagnosed that I had thoracic outlet syndrome after I took a hard fall while skiing. He then gave me a complete treatment plan and instructed me on what to do at home. That was only a month ago and I actually played golf the other day while on vacation! They also have some very cool decompression machines that are designed to help repair a disc hernia. If you have any type of back or neck issue, or just want to go in for a massage and maintenance, you can’t go wrong at this place.

The «Oregon Spine and Disc» gave me back my life.
I was able to Walk maybe one block or Stand for five minutes before I had treatments from the Oregon Spine and Disc. I would then have to rest my back before I could continue for another short distance. We visited the «Oregon Spine and Disc» and had a MRI on my spine and was determined I was a candidate for treatments they offered. This Treatment was ten times less costly than Surgery. After the treatments were completed I was and today able to hike five miles with no pain. I encourage everyone to have a consultation with the «Oregon Spine and Disc» before Surgery.

I was told by my primary care that I would have to have spinal surgery, I am caregiver to my mother so I couldn’t see myself as going through with the surgery. I researched other options and came across Dr Hamlin office.
I figured what do I have to lose let’s see if this will work. I came in to his office with multiple problems … herniated disc, frozen shoulder and carpal tunnel.
I was in excruciating pain, I would wake up all hours of the night in pain, and I was taking pain medicine that would never help. To be lightly touched was painful so everyday task and activity was difficult but I still had to care for my handicapped mother.
I started spinal decompression therapy with Dr Hamlin and after two weeks of therapy I was able to get a full nights sleep (it was amazing) I no longer take pain medicine and my range of motion in my right shoulder and arm is almost like normal (still working on the frozen shoulder).
The Dr’s and staff here are the greatest they welcome you like you are family and treat you like family. I only see them once a month, now, just for regular maintenance, but it was one of the best investments I have ever made. I know every patient is different and everyone heals in different ways but it’s worth the try to be pain free.
