McKenzie Books

I was weary to use McKenzie Books through Cash4Books because I had no friends that had used this service, so I was worried it might be a scam or they would find any little issue with my book and say I didn’t qualify for money. I got exactly the amount of money they said I would. This is a great service and I got my money within a month. Very happy and will gladly use this service again.

I’ve sold thousands of dollars to cash4books. Their practices are fair, they do not always buy all of my books but, at least they do return them. Big thanks to Christina and Hanna in customer service.

ordered a book through barnes & nobles because of previous positive experiences with their marketplace (aka their 3^rd party, used book store). unfortunately, i am completely turned off after my last purchase with this company.
the book was estimated 2 – 3 days, however after 10 days i started to get suspicious. there was no phone number through barnes and nobles, and BN claimed to have no involvement about the company or its shipping policies.
after calling today, they would refund the shipping, but who knows when it’ll even get here. the tracking number was useless. once it left oregon it was never tracked again.
will not purchase with barnes and nobles «market place» or this company. it was a waste of time and money

Great place to sell your used college textbooks and get cash!

A complete scam… Books sent had very minor damage
with no writing in them but they were rejected. I even had a
local bookstore look at them and that bookstore gave me a
thumbs up on using this service for these books!
Don’t waste your time with this outfit.

I had a weird exchange where I had to look it up online to head out to the book store to get it. Though it was all pleasant and friendly. I prefer it in person anyway, I hate getting damaged books from Amazon and having a person tell me being written in and water damage is «Like New». Happens at least 5% of the time.
Though to be honest, if I went with their shipping option, I would just shop with amazon still.

i think mckenzie books is great! by and large, the books that i bought were shipped to me in the condition advertised. their shipping rates also seem more reasonable compared to other used book sellers like
or amazon.
i did have a problem where one of the books sent to me was damaged during shipment, and i called their customer service line and the problem was immediately rectified. no wait time on the phone, and a replacement was shipped out the next day. the rep i spoke to was very cordial and helpful. i got the replacement in less than a week, and this was via media mail. (but perhaps that has to do with me being just the next state over. :))
even though i had a minor glitch with my order, i had such a positive customer service experience that i can easily overlook that. five stars!

McKenzie is a decent sized book seller /​reseller. I’ve bought a few text books from them — you can buy directly form them and they also have an outlet through
Ordering was tres easy and the books all arrive within a few days of ordering — and in the condition they advertised.
Prices were cheap and I like the fact that they are a brick and mortar place so if any problems, you can return the items — they have a really decent returns policy.
I’d use again.
