Worst KFC in America. Every time I come here the chicken is old/stale. Very disappointing — gave it at least three or four tries before I threw in the towel and vowed not to come here again.

I know it’s just fast food but this still irritates the hell out of me. My fiancé and I were just there ordering food from the drive thru and were told that crispy chicken would take 10 mins. We decided to wait because we weren’t in that big of a rush. 18 minutes go by and we still haven’t had our order brought to our car like they promised. My fiancé ends up going in and they put together our order as soon as he showed them the receipt. The chicken had been done a while ago… What the hell. If you say you’re going to do something follow through. It’s just common courtesy!

When my child texted me at 7pm that she wanted mashed potatoes for dinner(she’s sick and this is a typical sick princess request), I was driving from Hillsboro towards Bethany. Now mashed potatoes is not an easy request. I could go to the store and buy them, go home and make them and honestly that’d be my preference if wasn’t so late. But I was wiped. I did what apparently lots of people do. I hit the KFC drive thru.(Who else HAS mashed potatoes?) We are not fried chicken people. We are teriyaki, barbecue, rotisserie chicken people. I got a family pack with grilled chicken, biscuits, baked beans(a better choice than coleslaw or mac and cheese or corn or green beans or rice) and the spuds. I wished for cornbread. They told me they only had one grilled chicken breast and asked if they could substitute a crunchy one. Ok fine.(We ended up with two crunchy pieces, hmm not as fine). I have to say the kids working were the most polite friendly worker bees id seen in a long time. They could teach their surly indifferent Carls Junior neighbors a thing or two. +1pt I liked the non styrofoam takeout containers. +1 pt. Princess liked her potatoes and gravy. +1pt. Beans were hard, not cooked long enough. This surprised me because I imagined they’d be canned. Biscuits were overbaked. Sigh. The chicken? We just dont like fried, ugh, and the grilled was so so. A whole costco rotisserie chicken is tastier and cheaper. Or getting a good chicken from a good source and cooking it oneself is even better. My final thoughts? I need a wife.

KFC! Ok it’s a combo location with A&W, and that’s not a terrible thing. Makes solid business sense. Hard to satisfy a craving for fried chicken when there are a scant few options. We come here now and then for the chicken. It’s like any other KFC. The chicken was good. The biscuits however were a tad stale. Mac and cheese showed signs of sitting for a while. It wasn’t bad(according to wife and kids). The service is good. The drive thru always seems busy. My daughter likes the A&W hot dogs. The fried aren’t bad, I miss KFC potato wedges tho. And the cheese curds are great. I’m ok with KFC, the sides are often hit and miss, but the chicken always seems to be spot on KFC.

Not a great experience. Food was not fresh… Luke warm food, soggy biscuits, and dry chicken.

First time at this place. The employee taking my order was not friendly at all and gave me a cup when I specified I wanted my orange cream in a mug. No apologies were given. The hot wings were old – hard and lukewarm at best. Prices are somewhat high for fast food.

KFC review: You know you crave the colonel’s secret recipe! I was craving some fried chicken and I didn’t want to venture too far for some greasy, cheap goodness. *Original Recipe’s Fried Chicken *Home Style Biscuits + Honey *Mashed Potatoes *Coleslaw [nom nom nom] After consumption of a cholesterol-ific, sodium-laden meal, I was in daze of «food coma»… =X KFC did satisfy and definitely did it’s job. Service was decent here. Super speedy and considerate employees. You can go via drive thru or dine-in. Ample parking lot shared with nearby fast-food joints. I’ll be back for my next fried chicken craving!

Ok, I really like the KFC original recipe but not all KFC’s are the same. I didn’t eat breakfast and had to do some grocery shopping. I figured I would grab a quick bite to eat before I go in so I don’t buy out the store. I usually always get the Doubleicous sandwich. An original recipe chicken breast topped with 2 strips of bacon with their special sauce on a Hawaiian sweet bread burger bun. Normally this is delicious. This particular KFC unfortunately is not watching their hold times. My chicken was not hot and the texture made me feel like it was past its hold time. French fries instead of Jo Jo fries and they were cold and greasy at that. Nope won’t be eating at this KFC again.

This one is for 7340NW Butler RD., Hillsboro, Or. Hard to believe I am endorsing a KFC of all places, but this particular location turned out to be better than average. Or was it we were so hungry all else was ignored? According to my lovely companion this has become the KFC to beat so far, and I am including all locations nationwide. The corn was not mushy, the original chicken cooked to almost perfection, the cole slaw fresh and nice, the mashed potatoes and gravy just like the dr. ordered, drinks at the establishment with plenty of carbonation. We bought the 10 piece meal with the promotional two extra large sides for a total of 4. The macaroni and cheese was also very good and the biscuits with butter enticing. So there I go, praising the culinary delights of a KFC, but this one in Oregon. For some reason in our visit food in Oregon was not too shabby. 4 Stars for KFC(first 4 stars for this franchise from me).

Rootbeer fail. The«draft» rootbeer had such a weird taste to it that I had to go with Pepsi. Not so good for the prospects of combining chicken with rootbeer.

Disappointed with the clarity of the menu. Its been years since I’ve had the opportunity to eat at KFC so when I saw one I had to stop and get it. They failed to place their 10 piece chicken meal with the others which if seen would have been the perfect fit for my family. When I mentioned it he didn’t offer to change my order at all. And they would have got more money and a better review. Customer service thumbs down.

Honey bbq wings are saucy and delish and you can get a lot for a little cash. They do fried cheese curds and all sorts of good stuff here besides excellent fried chicken.

This combination restaurant is pretty good. If you’re craving chili cheese dogs, burgers, fries, yummy cheese curds or fried chicken, they’ll take care of you! I especially love that you can mix and match the side items. I like A&W — their fried cheese curds are my favorites! KFC isn’t my favorite, but I have been known to enjoy their chicken, potato wedges and mashed potatoes. Some thoughts on A&W: Their coney dogs are yummy with beanless chili and yummy cheese! Burgers are good, but not spectacular. Chili cheese fries are good. The fried cheese curds are one of the best sides ever! Some thoughts on KFC: The biscuits are disappointing. Mac & cheese is an unnatural shade of orange. The KFC kids’ laptop meal has a surprising amount of food! The popcorn chicken is lacking in chicken. Some thoughts on the location: I like the jukebox filled with oldies. It is free! Ordering inside gets you more accurate results than going through the drive thru — they don’t always mention that there are options(e.g., I ordered a «snacker» thinking I would get a crispy chicken strip with mayo & lettuce on a little bun. I got a original-recipe chicken strip with some type of flavored sauce & lettuce — the wrapper listed options for buffalo & bbq which were never offered.). All-in-all this is probably a 3-star kind of place, but those cheese curds push it up to, «Yay! I’m a fan,» status for me! Did I mention I love the fried cheese curds?
