Marti was awesome. A last minute Valentine’s day request for my boss was handed to me the day of for a yellow dozen roses. Everywhere else wouldn’t even take my call but Marti had the flowers and got it done in less then an hour. She was amazing and so polite. The flowers look beautiful and needless to say my boss’s wife is a happy lady! Thank you for helping us out at such short notice! You were a life saver! :)

I have chosen Burkhardt’s florist for years — for everything from my wedding to my father’s funeral. I went to purchase flowers for someone very special and was overwhelmed by the generosity and caring that is put into each and every floral arrangement. Marti takes the time to understand what you are trying to convey and does a fabulous job. I will continue to always choose Burkhardts for my floral needs.

I have received flowers from this shop on several occasions and have always been happy with what I received. I was even impressed when my husband told me the story of going into this shopping look for a specific flower for me. He didn’t know what it was called only generally what it looked like. Well, they must have someone their familiar with «husband speak» cause on valentine’s day I received the most beautiful vase of that flower that I’d ever scene! The delivery people are always friendly and the vases are good quality. I’ve reused a few of them several times. Plus my flowers have always lasted far longer than I would have expected. Kudos to this shop! I can’t wait for my next arrangement to arrive!

You know what’s funny about this place? Back when I was single, I received a bouquet of roses from this floral shop – I was also sent some roses from one of those 1 – 800 flowers or one of those places, the kind that come in a box and you unpack them yourself (aww thanks Dad!)–
but you know, the Burkhardts flowers started looking bad after about three days and damn if those box flowers didn’t look good for 8 – 10 days longer!

I chose this floral shop for my wedding flowers not because of location but because of sincerity. My wedding was all the way out in Milwaukie but they are more than willing to drive all the way out there to deliver your flowers for your special day.
During the planning, you can meet with a floral designer more than once to go over your envisions and ideas. They give you input if you want and help you figure out what goes together, what smells awful even if it looks pretty, color combinations you’d never think about and if you change your mind after you’ve put in your order — it’s okay! You’re allowed to change your order up until 1 – 2 days before your event!
The employees are friendly and helpful — I recommend this shop to all of my friends and co-​workers!
