I thought the burger was great. Greasy but I expected that. The burgers are double patty which I didn’t expect. I personally took out one of the patties but my hubby and brother loved all that meat. Everything is ala cart so it was a bit pricier than I expected. I loved all the add ons to add to the burger for free. Bacon and sautéed onions where delicious. They have shelled peanuts to snack on for free while you wait. I will definitely go back.

A good, inexpensive, greasy-as-can-be, burger. Huge portions on fries. Three stars is about as high as I’ll go for a «fast food» chain. Still love this place when I’m feeling like a fat kid.

Food is slightly below standard for this chain. The bacon is essentially charcoal by the time it reaches me and the burgers are either soggy or dry. The milkshakes used to contain chunks of ice cream and malted milk but they have improved in that respect, at least. Fries are great but it’s rather hard to mess that one up. When the cashier takes my order, they get it right, and it shows up correctly on the reciept. And yet, every single time, my order ends up wrong in the bag. This particular restaurant would do well to emphasize accuracy in order fulfillment with its staff.

I hate giving this place anything less than 4 stars, but my last two experiences have been pretty sub average, and honestly, it’s not quite inexpensive enough to say oh, well, it’s fast food… it’s on that mid level line price wise where I kind of expect a little better than a drive through. The burgers are hit and miss. When they are good, they are really good. When they are bad, they are a squished, uneven mess. My last two orders have fallen on this«miss» portion. Ordering via their app, they made a point to say that the fries wouldn’t be started until I arrived. The burgers(I ordered 3) one was good, two had to have been cooked way too early, and were lukewarm and soggy. The fries were no where close to fresh, and they had forgot that I ordered«cajun» fries, and seemingly had even forget to salt them. Overall, $ 25.00 for 3 burgers and 1 fries. About what I would pay at Slo Bar, this was just not even close to good enough to me.

In my opinion, Five Guys is the best fast food hamburger option in Hillsboro. I appreciate that the hamburgers come plain and you specify what you want to add. As someone who doesn’t like many ingredients on her hamburger, it is a nice change to not have to worry about stray condiments. The little hamburger comes with one patty while the regular hamburger comes with two. I opt for the little hamburger and split a little fry. The portions on the fries are normally very generous and even the little fry is usually too much for one person. They recently started serving shakes that take on the same«build your own» feel that they implement with the hamburgers. Overall, Five Guys is not a bad lunch time option if you are looking for a quick hamburger and fries. 4 stars.

Love this Five Guys location. This is our Go-To place for burgers! This location gives you plenty of fries to split! We usually take them home to put real cheddar on our burgers. Not sure why they don’t carry cheddar. The American cheese they carry is my only gripe. Love the free roasted peanuts! Fun to eat while waiting for your order. Overall, we come here quite often, almost every month, because it’s just good burgers!

This was my first time at a Five Guys burger. I’d seen it around for a long time and finally decided to try it out. I was very underwhelmed by their cheeseburger and fries. It is nice that you can customize what you want and you get limitless toppings, but that’s only enjoyable when the burger itself tastes good. I couldn’t tell how this was different from any other fast food burger place and really made me miss In-n-out. People rave about their fries too but I also like In-n-out’s version better and they also use fresh, whole potatoes.

I have been to this Five Guys location over a handful of times, and I am pleased and left with a contented stomach every time. The burgers are always made to perfection, and the portion size they give you when ordering fries is unmatched! There’s always a great aura in this place. I recommend the«little burger» for those with a smaller stomach. They just started serving milkshakes, as well! I’m lactose intolerant but I will probably try these eventually ;)

A crave-able place. Very informal, you place your order at a counter, and pick it up when your number is called. They have about 5 total things on the menu, and they do a good job on them. I always get the bacon cheeseburger and a small fry. Share a large fry between 2 people, they are huge. They give you free peanuts and you can throw them on the floor. I’m giving 4 stars because, dangit, they need to upgrade the cheese. The plastic stuff just sucks.

I usually go to five guys about once a month and most of the time I order online and go pick it up. They are pretty good about the wait time and they say there is a wait for fresh fries when you place the order. For some reason it took 25 minutes for my order tonite and I’m not happy about this! I was given large fries instead of small fries because of the wait. I didn’t want large fries though, it’s too much. If I wanted large, I’d order large! After having to ask 20 minutes into the ordeal I was given a «half ass» excuse as to where my order was and then 5 minutes after that they gave me my order with a mediocre apology! «But you got large instead of small bro» thanks«bro» now I can go home and waste even more fries that I won’t eat! So I guess don’t waste time ordering online, just go in and order! Oh yeah, the food was ok. Just ok! But those fries bro! Totally worth the 25 minute wait!

Be forewarned, if this review seems grammatically off its because I am slowly fading into a food coma. I literally just ate the food from this place and I feel my eyelids getting heavy. This was my first time trying their burgers. I normally am not a huge burger person but when you get a craving for them, nothing else comes close to satisfactory. And let me tell you, this was more than satisfactory. Other reviews were good and the photos looked delicious so I figured I’d give it a try and I’m glad I did. Lazily, I almost went to Wendy’s because I didn’t want to get out and they don’t have a drive-thru window. But I hate fast food normally and I just wanted a big, juicy bacon cheeseburger. I also ordered a little fry, which was the equivalent to a medium fry in my opinion. The fries were really good. I normally am not a big fry person either. So anyway food alone I would give them a 5! The inside was very basic, like a typical modern diner for burgers. I’m guessing people weren’t there for the ambiance. Staff was friendly. My only qualm is that there is no drive-thru. Kind of reminds me of an in and out except the burgers are much larger(and more expensive). All in all I would recommend five guys if you’re looking for a good, juicy, filled with toppings, and tons of meat old fashioned burger. Eat with caution, especially if you’re thinking about a workout later. It may be a while before I get to that jog I was planning. Like maybe tomorrow?

When I feel like a quick burger lunch, I do take out from Five Guys. They’re better than the normal fast food chains, close to work and have online ordering. Let me spend a paragraph explaining how great their online ordering is. You can do «group order» where they give you a unique link that you can send to other people(my coworkers) who might be interested in ordering also. When someone clicks the link, they can add their own order with all the customized toppings they want. After everyone’s done, you click submit and they tell you exactly what time it’ll be done(usually less than it takes me to get there). When you’re there to pick up, skip the line and go directly to the pick up zone. Tell them you’re there and that’s when they prepare your fries(because they don’t want it to sit there waiting for you). So you do have to wait a little bit for that, but it’s a small price to pay for fresh fries. Eat some peanuts while waiting. Some tips: 0. Online order! 1. «Little» burger is a one patty burger, a «normal» burger has 2 patties, that’s a lot! I ordered that the first time, but I have never done that mistake again. Little aren’t just for little kids. 2. Their fries order are huge. Regular is for 2 people, Large for 3. They fill up a regular/large soda cup for the fries and dump an extras on top. Easiest to eat would be rip the paper bag on its side and use it as a plate.

Burgers are good but this restaurant chain doesn’t have ranch dressing for their fries, and that’s a serious pitfall in my eyes. Staff is friendly but restaurant is always messy. Tables aren’t ever wiped down.

Finally tried this place and I actually liked the burger and fries but the service at the register is why I am posting this review. No help at all, he looked as if he just hated being there. A bit over priced but definitely better than McDonald’s any day.

So used to think I liked Five Guys okay, that was until I found this one. Now it’s my favorite place to go when I want to eat out. The burgers are great, and not as greasy or sloppy as other five guys are. And their fries are actually good, which is something five guys has always had a problem with. Definitely recommend.

I like the overall idea here, simple burgers, not from frozen patties cooked up fresh and served with fresh cut real potato fries. It’s much like In N Out that way, the the taste just isn’t as good. I would say for the price it’s a good deal on a fresh burger but it wasn’t so outstanding that I’d go out of my way for it. If they were using pasture beef I’d be more persuaded. The interior is simple burger stand style and I did love that they even had one condiment available that I love with my fries, malt vinegar, oh yeah baby, somehow that excites me. Overall not bad but not outstanding either.

I’m amazed at the consistency between Five Guys locations. I have been to several across the country, and it’s the same great food every time. I love the simple menu, the bags full of fries, the malt vinegar, the peanuts… everything that makes Five Guys great. We came in during the lunch post rush. We only ever saw two employees. Both were polite, answered questions in a friendly manner and efficiently, and wished us a good day as we left. The food was excellent. Fries(cajun) were firm and spicy. Burgers were medium well and juicy. We asked for no grilled mushrooms but got mushrooms. Happy error though. They were wonderful. The bathrooms and dining room were clean. Parking is not ideal but not awful either. Overall, an excellent visit, but like so many Five Guys locations, I see the printed accolades, the magazine and newspaper reviews, and as the years go by, they look older and older. I wonder if it’s time to pull down the old reviews and put something new up. They post where the potatoes come from. Maybe they can make new signs: Today’s peanuts come from…, Today’s cows come from… Or maybe enough people know, Five Guys is awesome by now. Maybe throw up some white boards and let us write our own reviews. :)

I really love their Burgers and the choice of toppings that you can get here. Meat is fresh and the buns are soft. Just like I like them. Their fries are decent for fresh cut. I would love them if they where crisper and skinner. Always a good stop for lunch.
