Purchased two groupons and was not allowed to use it due to some BS. The store owner was extremely rude, and will definitely never come to this joke of a establishment again. AVOIDATALLCOST!!! The raisin looking lady needs to learn how to talk to customers or humans in general, or else she is going to destroy this shit of a business.

I was torn on the review I wanted to write about this place until several hours after my visit. This establishment seemed like your normal every day gun store. We stopped by and chatted with the owner about different glock models who seemed friendly enough. He threw me off a bit when he decided to unholster his loaded weapon to show it to me which is not something that should be done in any store. We then had to watch a joke of a «safety video» and take a quiz, at the time I just thought ok I’ll go along with it. The cost for a lane, gun rental and ammo was about $ 50 per person as guns and lanes cannot be shared… seemed a little steep. Our shooting experience and equipment return went as expected. The problem came up later in the evening when I stopped next door to pick up a to go order from ABV. The entire parking lot was full except for In front of the gun store, however they have put out cones and signs saying that I cannot park there. I thought since there were 10 empty spots and obviously no traffic coming and going that I would park, get my food and leave quickly. As I returned to my truck I was greeted by the owners wife who asked if that was my truck. I replied yes it was. She then started yelling at me about the signs and that she was going to have me towed. I only replied with thank you ma’am and have a good night. She then continued yelling at me as I got into my truck and drove away. I could understand her being upset if parking in front of her store was low and one of her customers couldn’t find a spot however as I left I counted 8 other open spots. Then I read the other reviews about her and realized who I was dealing with. I am in the market for a new gun however I think I will take my business somewhere else as the mentally unstable woman that works there should probably not be around guns.

You bring your own ammo and they charge you $ 5 for every 50 rounds on top of any other range fees! Ridiculous! Otherwise be prepared to buy their overpriced ammo. I typically shoot several hundred rounds with the wife each time, I’m not gonna pay you extra cash just because I didn’t buy your ammo.

Had a really bad experience here. Have been to lots of ranges in many places, the lady who waited on us was rude, abrupt and as unhelpful as she could possible be. Wont be back! Too many other ranges that welcome your business and are pleasant and professional.

I am in shock as to how this place is still in business after today’s visit. Absolutely the rudest customer service ever. The lady was clueless and argumentative. When I was clear as to why we were there, she said that’s not an option. I think she needs to take a class before coming to work tomorrow on customer service and a basic firearms class. It’s one thing to be wrong, but to keep arguing after you have been proven wrong is just ridiculous. Her husband needs to find her another job…

Me and my family are never coming back to this place. It’s the second time I come here with my wife and for the second time we had the same bad experience. The range itself is good but the customer service is so bad I will cross the street just so I won’t walk in front of their door. This older lady treated us so rudely she left my wife in tears. I will never come back to this place ever again. 8÷13÷15 I’m updating this review because they called me a couple days ago. Good thing, right? No! The guy over the phone wanted to lecture me on how I can’t write bad reviews. He said I watched the video and should know better. He also said I am not welcome in the range anymore, which sounded funny because my first words in this review were saying that I would never come back there. If you’re wondering what place has the worst customer service on earth, search no more, this is it. The only thing I’m curious about is for how long they’ll treat customers like garbage and stay in business.

Prices are ridiculous and the lady at the desk mentioned three times that«they are here to make money», when I asked why they have to charge me 5 $ each box of ammo that I brought in. Unfortunately I ended up with annual pass for 100 $ /military rate which you would think is a good deal. But each time a member of this club comes in, they still have to pay for lane, ammo inspection for each box and also targets. So what this means is after forming over 120 $, they get roughly 25 $ dollars from you each time you come back. Not a good business model. A member would feel better if they charged whatever up front and coming back is all part of the upfront membership cost. Like any other club? I only purchased membership cuz it’s convenient and right down he street. Also, the lanes are pretty sad for how much you pay, 35 feet long into a pile of rubber while your paper targets dangle from unstable wire.

One of the only place in the area to shoot and rent hand guns. Their safety rules are ridiculous and stupid. The prices are outrageous. They even charge you to borrow safety glasses! Not to mention the owners are not very friendly.

No complaints, lady behind the counter was nice enough. The costs were reasonable and their required targets weren’t overly expensive, the brass charge wasn’t bad. I probably would have spent as much on gas driving out to the woods to shoot and waste an hour and a half driving. Overall I’m satisfied and most likely be back… although the tillamook forest is prettier.

I went in there to use their range which is nice, but a little pricey. I decided to buy a grip for my P226 for $ 299. The gentleman said he would have to order it, but assured me it is in stalk. After a couple of days he called to tell me he is unable to get the pistol grip I want, and he would have to refund my money. Now it is a week later, and the bank is telling me that they never released the funds and there is no return pending. I have to wait to talk to them for another 3 days as they are not open on Mondays or Tuesdays to find out what is going on with my money. I will keep you posted.

Have been to this range several times. The experience varies based on the person behind the counter. The two guys are great, the older woman is horrible. She treats everyone like they are wasting her time by simply being in her presence. They have also recently raised their prices to the point where it costs around 100 dollars for two people to go with their own guns and shoot 1 box of their ammo.

Talked to one of the employees on the phone about coming in to make sure my friends and I would be able to use the range since only one of us had experience shooting guns. We were told that all we had to do was to watch a video and we would be good to go. I did see in a previous Unilocal review someone was able to use the range with no experience shooting a gun. I drove 40 minutes to get to BeaverCreek Armory. It took 15 minutes until someone helped us at the counter. We were then told that we could not use the range unless we paid for a full class and take the few-hour class. The service is extremely slow and it seems like the employees are not on the same page about the rules of the range. Since this review, I have gone to two other ranges that have MUCH better customer service.

I’m not really sure what all the complaints are about, it’s all in all a good indoor range. They’re clean, well lit, and friendly. Granted they are a little spends, but you pay for convenience. I would definitely go back.

I went here to the Teas and Targets class with my mom. We’re were very happy we did! Hannah is amazing! The class is very informative and helped us feel very comfortable extending our knowledge on guns and helping us get our certificate. We really enjoyed shooting at this range. We will definitely be back for more classes and to use this shooting range. They have a great way to run a range that ensures everyone is safe!

Have been a member here for the last couple of years and totally enjoy shooting here. It’s easy to find fault if fault is all your looking for. Sure there could be room for improvement. One has to look at the complexity of not only running a small business but one that has stringent regulations and liabilities. I’m just glad someone had the knowledge, capital and balls to put in a range. Just finished the concealed carry class and was completely satisfied with it. For all of those that talk about how much experience they have and how they felt talked down to. How do they know how much experience you have. There are minimum requirements every shooter has to go through in order to meet the insurance and liability regulations so suck it up and move on. Thanks Beavercreek Armory. Keep up the good work.

Today was my first time at Beaver Creek Armorym and it was a text book example of how not to treat customers. I told the rep that I had only used a gun once before, a 22 cal rifle, and never used a magazine. She recommended I take a rife with a magazine, but, due to safety protocol, couldn’t show me how to use the magazine. So, I told her my husband would show me how to use it in the range. He did so. However, the magazine jammed three times, though this may have been due to my inexperience,. Although I strictly followed safety procedures and protocol, the range master ran into the range and started yelling at me for having had a jammed magazine, Another employee entered the range while he was still yelling and simply replaced my rifle with another(single shot) that worked fine for me. Not to be outdone, when we finished shooting, the woman in the showroom began a tirade first at me and then at my husband. Both of us have had years of business experience, and aren’t easily put off. But, we were both surprised at how rude the staff was to customers. After reading other reviews, it seems other customers also were treated poorly. However, to try to add a positive comment, I noticed from reading other reviews that the most satisfied customers seem to the ones who used the range through a class. At this point, however, I don’t feel like returning even for a class.

I would love to give this place a great review as it is very close to my home and would’ve been great for the range experience. I believe I have made a mistake, however, in purchasing the top membership to reduce the range fees… seems like a waste of money now, as I probably will not visit this place again in the future. I didn’t have such a great experience the 2nd time I went mostly due to the added cost of bringing in your own ammo that they don’t carry. This added cost is basically prohibitive to doing business there especially when you’re a member. It added $ 4 dollars to already expensive ammo. Just the high cost of their ammo in general is prohibitive. I’m relatively new to this experience and things could’ve been less stressful. It wasn’t busy, and the staff was very nice, though. I made a few rookie mistakes which were noted, and good practices were reinforced, so maybe they’ve made headway in this area, but like others have said, ammo prices are very high. The ammo my pistol uses is not cheap anyway, but I’ve never paid what I paid to use theirs. Plus I can purchase reloads from practically any on-site store and including shipping and all other fees… is basically half what I paid there. I can understand charging extra for bringing in your own ammo if you’re not a member, but otherwise being charged as a member for bringing in ammo they don’t carry is pretty petty. Update: 4÷28÷2014 Took gun safety class with my son here. Turned out pretty good. We both enjoyed the class and learned a quite a bit. I will give the range another shot. I’ve updated my experience to 4 stars.

I was shocked by how much negativity I read on the reviews. Its a simple gun range that has some competitive pricing. It seems a lot of people feel they should be treated like princesses when they come to a gun range. The staff seemed to be quite competent and knowledge about their trade and where very willing to help any new people that came in. They treat their regulars just like they treat their new walkins. I spent about 50 bucks and got as much gun enthusiasm as I wanted.

I took the Tea & Targets class at Beavercreek armory and absolutely loved the experience. Hannah is an incredible instructor, and makes everyone feel comfortable and prepared before stepping into the range. I love that they offer a ladies-only class. It creates a less intimidating atmosphere to learn in. I would 100% recommend the range and the class!
