Interstate All Battery Center

Notice the response from Pete the owner below: «Interstate should offer a loaner» and here it is 4 years later and they are still holding batteries overnight without offering any solution to the fact your car is inoperative. Either Pete is lying or hasn’t trained his what appears to be remarkably incompetent staff.
With the Interstate Battery (less than two years old), my car would have no starting power the next morning. With a replacement from Advanced Auto, (happened to be a better sale than Walmart), car starts fine the next morning. I even took the time to measure it with a multimeter and the battery measured 12.56 Volts just like it should the next morning. Even after charging the battery overnight, Interstate could not get the battery to measure more than 11.71 Volts, but yet insist its a good battery and then want $ 10 for testing and charging there own product!
DO NOT BUY from this company anymore until they go back to doing honest business and honor there warranties. Pete is your thinking of writing me, just save your explanation and just paypal me $ 135 to reimburse me for the loss I took on your POS product. P. S. you should add $ 35 for the wasted hour I spent dealing with your arguably incompetent staff!

Pete was great at finding the battery I needed and recommending additional items that I could use !

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!! I attempted to have them adjust two MT-​78 batteries from my 2004 Silverado Diesel. The guy behind the counter was rude from the git-​go. Along with the attitude, he said that he could not apply any warranty to the battery because it was not the right battery for my truck. I asked him to double check and he rudely responded, «I sell batteries all day and know for a fact that the MT-​78 is not the proper battery for diesels».
Guess what? According to the Interstate Batteries website he was WRONG!
I went to a nearby Autozone and bought two new batteries. They have always treated me right.
REPEAT: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!!

I received an email from the Pete the owner of this particular Interstate Battery store apologizing for what happened. Surprised… Definitely. I wasn’t expecting to hear from them after my experience, but Unilocal was the reason. Good job Unilocal.Anyway, Pete apologized and offered to give me a new battery and installation for anyone of my car’s. In today’s world that is rare… That is the level of customer service I like and rarely see.
I believe this store may be worth buying your next battery at. That kind of customer service is outstanding!!!
