Checkmate Moving and Storage

The movers were nice and finished our move in a timely manner. 2 men showed up instead of the promised 3, but they were still able to get the job done in one day and since there were less men we weren’t charged for 3 and therefore our move was less than the original estimate. I felt like I could trust them with my belongings. I would definitely recommend them! Very reasonably priced!

Amazingly courteous, flexible, and careful! on-​time, professional, and a joy to work with. Could not have been more helpful or accommodating when it came to moving and rearranging furniture in my new place. Would DEF use again. Highly recommend! Jared and his team are the BEST :-).

Would like to give a shout out to Checkmate Moving. The crew was awesome. Three young men that were extremely polite and hard working… they showed up on time and worked hard to finish on time. They were very helpful in making sure everything was where I wanted it. The owner, Tom, went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied on the resolution for the piece of furniture that was damaged in the move.

Awesome moving company. My wife and I have used them three times for short, local moves between Lone Tree and Parker (and within Parker). The most recent move was Saturday, March 7^th.
As with the previous two moves, they showed up on time and ready to work. They are neatly dressed and very courteous with each mover introducing himself by name.
Also, they have someone come out prior to the move to provide a quote. They review how much stuff you have and items to be moved, etc. Then they quote you based on estimated number of hours and recommend the number of movers.
The move cost less than we were quoted which was nice. My wife and I are very organized movers so we were ready for them when they arrived. If you are not organized and ready for them when they arrive then you may end up paying more than the quote if they have to wait on you to finish packing, etc.
It is a family-​owned business which we like and they provide top-​notch service. We finally bought a house so hopefully this was our last move, but if not we will definitely use Checkmate again!

These guys were upfront, professional, knowledgeable and friendly from the first minute I called. The moving crew (who by the way are all strong professionally trained full time movers) were on time and ready to go and were ever so careful with our belongings. My husband and I have moved three times is less than five years. The first two moving company’s we used were average at best. When we heard about Checkmate we included them on our quote list and were thrilled by their professionalism and eye for detail at the time of the quote.
After receiving all the quotes Checkmate offered the best quote with the best service.
We loved their work ethic and friendly demeaner and the speed and precision with the packing and unpacking processs. I would highly recommend Checkmate to my friends and family and will definitely use them again in the future!!!

I have used Checkmate moving twice and both times were great experiences. Our first experience was with home remodeling — moved things to the garage and later back into the house. Their crew was on time, pleasant and oh so careful. They even did extra work to move an extremely large armoire. And the office desk was a nightmare (it didn’t go back into the house — my choice!).
We used them again for my mother-in-law’s move to assisted living. Again, they were awesome. Even the retirement community loved them — they staged everything at the elevator before loading; stopped the elevator to load; and then unloaded. This meant minimal time tying up one of the community elevators.
With both moves, the crews were very pleasant and were willing to do extras such as relocate furniture when I changed my mind. They wanted me to be happy before they left.
Projects such as these aren’t fun. But Checkmate took away a lot of the pain. THANKS!
