Best food in the IE hands down, I’m addicted to this place. I love hot salsa and their green salsa is the bomb, carne tacos and beans and rice, best I eva had! Where’s Juanito, I need to marry this guy

Food used to be good the quality has gone down a bit. Taste isn’t consistent. I’d Rather got to amapolas down the street at the 76 on baseline when they run burrito specials.

Juanito’s is definitely a step above the majority of the Mexican restaurants here in the San Bernardino area. The quality would be on par with Cuca’s & Amapola, but a step below Taco Joe’s. The chili verde is extremely tasty without being too hot, although it had my lips still burning for about 20 minutes after I had finished eating my pork burrito. The pork was just ho-hum tasty and fairly tender, but very dry as if it had been sitting for a couple of days before being served. The tortilla chips tasted like they were straight out of a bag, HOWSUMBUTEVER, the onion rings were prepared with a tempura like batter that was fried to extra crispy perfection. My daughter ordered a carne asada burrito and her impression of the beef was similar to my opinion of the pork. Service at the order counter was very friendly without feeling rushed, and our meals were delivered to our nice clean table in under 10 minutes. We will definitely eat here again when in the neighborhood and hankerin’ for Mexican food.

Wow this place is amazing! I just got stuck moving here. This area is soooo depressed looking, I was sure there’d be nothing — but this whole in the wall restaurant is a very pleasant surprise. I got my food to-go so I could hide the shame of ordering 3 tacos AND the flautas special lol — with a very large jamaica it came to $ 14. They have a large selection of meats to choose from. The customer service was very good, the cashier was polite and upbeat. It’s clean and has several tables that seat 2 – 3 people, no groups. I ordered al pastor, chicken, and fish tacos — these were easily some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The fish taco was probably the best fish taco I’ve ever had, and I’ve had them in Ensanada. They’re not stingy on anything, the flautas were large and came with a large helping of guacamole, the guacamole was just ok. Everything was bursting with meat. Can’t wait to try everything else! $ 0.25 charge for debit, but that’s forgivable :-)

Food used to be really good. No longer coming here quality of food has changed. You only get free chips if you dine in there cheap little chairs as well but if you take the food home it’s 1.50 $ for chips. Don’t care about customers.

The service was excellent. Didn’t take them long to make my food and it was very tasty. The tortillas were soft, the meat full of flavor. It was my first time and I would come again!

My family and I have gone to Juanito’s tacos since they opened. It’s been one of our favorite mexican food places in the area. I still do like the food there… my complaint is about their business practices. A few months after they opened they started charging an extra 10 cents to add cilantro. I literally felt nickled and dimed by them. I explained to their son why it wasn’t a good idea to do that to customers. He insisted that it would stay that way and they felt it was better to charge for any extra ingredient. I didn’t argue with him about it. Instead, from that point forward I went to other mexican food places who don’t have frivolous charges. Since I do like the food there I have gone back on occasion to eat and tolerated the extra charge… which brings me to today. I went there and ordered $ 43 worth of food. After discovering sour cream didn’t come with one of the plates, I requested it and the son said it is an additional 60 cent charge. Seriously? 60 cents for an itty bitty amount of sour cream? After spending $ 43 one would think they would just give it to you and not fuss over 60 cents. My husband complained to the daughter about the extra charge and she shrugged her shoulders and said sorry. I paid the 60 cents so my husband can have sour cream. It’s the last 60 cents they will get from me. I will not come back after this incident. There’s so many places around to eat so for me choosing a place that values a long term relationship their customers is most important. They saw we were upset about the charge and they were still willing to charge us the 60 cents. Obviously they aren’t concerned about keeping their customers happy or whether or not we come back.

we were recently in cali on vacation and the only thing I really wanted was some good Mexican food! the place my boyfriends parents go to and recommend was closed, so I scoured Unilocal and found juanitos. my tastebuds were satisfied! my boyfriend got a 3 taco combo plate, with 2 cabeza, and chicken taco. I got the chicken torta and a small side of beans. Yummy! and radishes on the side, heck yes :)

This place was so good before .Now the food is plain and really expensive. At least if food was not so plain i wouldn’t mind paying for it.

This was a good place to stop for a quick bite. The carne asada was delicious and it was decently priced. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely go back.

CARNITASSTREETTACOS. I can’t stress enough how hard it is to find some killer Carnitas around here. I’m talking about that crispy flavorful pork that is still somehow juicy that you get at a buddy’s bbq cooked by his Dad from his Grandma’s family recipe that you can’t get anywhere else… I think I found it.

Stopped by after hearing great reviews of this place. I got a carne asada taco and the carne asada fries. The taco was good and the carne asada fries were good as well. I enjoyed the fries because they use nacho cheese on them & they were crinkle cut fries which made them better because they are thicker and not the commonly used fries in most places! I will definitely come back again for the carne asada fries and to try other things.
