I’ve been reading the posted reviews, and I can’t understand the negative ones. My mother has been a resident for 10 months and there is almost nothing I would change. Every staff member knows her by name. She thinks she’s living in a spa hotel being pampered by all. I drop in often and always see a smile on her face. My mother was never a joiner; she hated participating in games. Now she joins in cooking, jewelry making, word games and wheelchair exercises. In fact, last week she was having so much fun playing volleyball, she told me to leave and come back later! One review said the food was bad. All I know is that I can drop in for lunch with my mother and enjoy every bite. Of course the food is softer. Many residents have dentures, etc. I had steak there once and it was tender and medium rare! Like many others, we agonized over this decision. It was one of the best we ever made.

My Aunt, who was like my Mother, lived at Silverado for almost two years. Our experience with the caregivers was wonderful. My aunt was engaged, and well cared for. The staff and the administration were so caring, responsive, devoted. We thought they were great

6 people dead in 4 weeks. Care givers quitting due to SEVERE short staffing. We are pulling my dad out as are several others. Administrator talks out of both sides of her mouth. Head nurse is clueless. No one cares. Moves everyone to hospice to die in seconds. Horrible place.
