Wow these are good burritos. Where did this truck come from? How can I find it again? Definitely up there with King Taco, superior to Leo’s. Attention to detail rare in other taco trucks.

Go there for the steak tacos and enjoy your orange drink, but sorry no seating! I usually sit on that side cement thing. Cash only.

Im writing this review because I wanted to have the only three chinese guys that hang out in highland park in the middle of the night make its mark in the world. I asked rosa… who is great by the way and happens to work in the taco truck… are we the only chinese guys that come here… and she said with her spanish accent… «jeeess» … that alone makes this taco truck great… aside from the great tacos… large burritos… great tacos… rosa… two thumbs up.

Great tacos for one dollar each! These tacos are a bit larger than the Taki Taco ones so usually 3 – 4 should do the trick to handle that late night post-drinking hunger. I’m not sure when this taco truck is here on weekdays, but on weekends its here at least until 2am. Dont worry about the«roach coach» myth, I’ve eaten here a few times and has never had«the runs» the next day. Update: the tacos are up to $ 1.25 each now… but still good.

If you’re ever looking for some satisfying cheap Mexican food on that drive back home from partying in dwntwn LA area to Pasadena or the SGV on the 110 freeway. .. this is the place to go, right on Figueroa after exiting ave 52. I was introduced to the 52nd ave exit off the 110-N freeway a couple years back but for another taco truck named«Taki Taco» located on the same street by the Food 4 Less. Unfortunately, the last two times i have tried to find that taco truck and introduce some other friends to it for their kick ass al pastor, they were gone as we rolled up after 12:30 am. Fortunately, there’s another truck around named«los paises». .you can find the names painted on the driver and passenger doors of the taco trucks. Since we were there already and with the late night munchies, we were like what da hell, might as well get some food. I recommend getting bout’ 4 — 5 tacos(at $ 1 a piece) to satisfy that late night munchie. You can do no wrong with the carne asada and al pastor :). There’s even a table set up right beside the truck with different condiments(e.g., lime, onions, salsa verde, pico de gallo, etc). Word of caution, the area isn’t that great if you’re used to living in pristine suburbia, but if you’re not worried, i’d definitely give this taco truck a go ;)
