This place is beyond terrible. The tailors/seamstresses here are amateur at best. I STRONGLY recommend looking elsewhere. Besides the horrendous work this sad excuse for a tailor shop deems acceptable, the prices are astronomical. KEEPAWAYORYOUWILLREGRETIT!

Research alternatives before bringing a suit here for alterations. I was seeking professionalism and a quality tailor — what I got was a large bill and sub-par work. My alteration was simple enough — bring the sides of my suit jacket in. The ‘seamstress’ that seems to be the new tailor didn’t chalk anything, as you’d find with a professional tailor, rather just used some clips. When I picked up my jacket and tried it on I discovered that in the process of taking in the sides the area below my neck formed somewhat of a roll. I told her I wanted this taken out so the jacket lies flat on my back. She wrote me up a slip and didn’t include any charges on it(which I thought was reasonable because the reason for the roll in the first place was because of the alterations to the sides). When I picked up the jacket the second time the quality again wasn’t something to rave about but was ok. Then she asked for $ 28. I was shocked and explained that the reason I requested the second alteration was because of the shotty work on the first alteration. She still insisted that I pay her for the work she did. So in all I paid $ 73 for amateur work. Tailors are tough to find. When you have +$ 1,000 suits that need altered I recommend doing your homework or just get it done in Manhattan.
