I’m a little confused about all the five star ratings. If you live on Long Island there are a million better places(like say, Sorentos in Long Beach). My 10″ pizza with onions was pretty good… the sauce slightly sweet and the cheese sufficiently gooey. The crust though is reminiscent of Ellios — barely there and some weird combination of flour and pizza grease. The place itself was fairly filthy and the booths too small. The service was quick and very friendly. If you want a quick inexpensive lunch than definitely try it, just don’t expect too much.

I used to go Elmhurst all the time. It’s good to know there is a substitute close to home! Hamburg, cheese, and pepper onions!

Jalapeño with chicken tikka is what I crave from here! I love the fresh pepper on my pizza and it is perfectly baked to that great crunch. I specifically crave this pizza once a month! If it was closer I would eat from only here! I once ordered at work and my co workers were crazy about the personal pies I had picked up

Singas famous pizza is an interesting little place. You place your order and they give you a ticket and you wait for your custom pie to be created. Trust me when I tell you that their pizza is wonderful. Great sauce, fresh cheese. They bag your pie on a plate and slip in an Italian seasoning and red pepper packet as well. Priced are right on point as well.

The pizza is always piping hot and consistently delicious!!! Plus they are so accommodating. Whether you want extra cheese, cheese on the crust(highly recommend), or more sauce, they will take care of you. My fave is the jalepeno and pineapple. TRYIT!

We are fortunate that they have a place in Hicksville. The location itself has a greasy atmosphere, but it’s forgivable. Try it.

Love singas! I’ve been eating it since I was a kid and still love it. They sell individual pies(no slices). I’ve never tried any of their sandwiches or salads so can’t comment on those.

Best veggie pizza in the neighborhood always fresh and hot. Made when you call it in. Have been going there since opening in Hicksville and before that in Queens. It is not ITALIAN pizza. Crust is thin, not too saucy, no over the top cheese. Serves one to two people. We have salad with it. Delicious.

The pizza is a decent pizza, definitely better than most places since the chain maintains consistent quality among its establishments. This is a go to place for a pizza if you are not in the venturing mood. Make sure to order ahead of time to avoid a long wait.

You don’t come here for pizza. You come here for a variation on your standard pizza. They have plenty of unusual toppings that are sold as 10″ pies. I picked up a few to bring back to where I worked a few times and everyone thought it was excellent. Again, it won’t satisfy a pizza craving per se, but it’s something different, and different can be very good indeed.

Not recommended! We waited over 30 min for Ellios frozen pizza! And it was expensive!

This is not conventional pizza but it is one of my favorite places of all time. I have been going to Singas since I was a small child with my Dad in the Elmhurst location. So I was very happy when they opened up in Hicksville. They have personal pizzas only. You can not but it by the slice. When I was a kid they only had pizza but now they sell sandwiches and salads. Now I take my son here.

My first time coming to this Singas pizza, I’ve been to other locations. This has been the only location that gives you packets of garlic, black and red pepper for to-go orders.

For those who have been stating that this is the«best pizza» are certainly wrong. I had the opportunity to dine here recently and I must say that the pizza was simply tasteless. To consider this pizza, absolutely puts shame to the name pizza. I had ordered peppers and onions pie and not only were the flavors lacking, but it just reminds me of a pie that I could get from the frozen section at the market. So please future patrons, save yourself the trouble and try somewhere else. I can assure you there are many other pizzeria’s that are much better than this one.

OK Pizza lovers throw away all previous expectations on what«good» pizza is and go try Singas small shop typical 1970s looking pizza parlor … big selection of toppings from the usual to the pineapple we ordered black olive and plain and were told because it was tuesday we get another pie for free now these are 10″ pies good for one really hungry person or 2 hungry but not starving people. I am at a loss of words to describe… but its not really thick and its not really thin crust what it is perfect crispy crust look at fellow Unilocalers pics for an idea how this yummy pizza looks its good its tasty and its not expensive plus the guys working there are super friendly we ordered wings and pizza and took soda we sat waiting, no rush to pay which always makes me feel better about a place I really enjoyed my experience here and my son really enjoyed his wings

Ok so I’m originally from Elmhurst Queens and when I moved out to the island I knew I was gonna miss all my favorite foods. At least I have famous in Hicksville. First of all this is NOT, I repeat NOT pizza! It’s Singa’s famous pizza! Singas or famous for short. Why is it not pizza, because it does not compare to regular pizza, it’s in a league all on its own. Believe me you will understand once you try it. I’ve never ever been disappointed when I eat a famous pie. Never! There are some knockoffs but like the paper bag that this deliciousness comes in says«if it’s not Singa’s, it’s not famous!!». I did leave out a star for this particular location because the crust is ever so slightly different than what I’m used to from the original spot on Broadway in Elmhurst. It must be the water.

Its not bad, its not great its just guaranteed good! For many Indian people who lived in queens or went to shop there with their parents when they were younger this place is they pizza they grew up on and considered a staple. For me however I think the original at least I think its the original, regardless to me best will always be Elmhurst Famous Pizza. However, this place is definitely worth patronizing because you always know what you are getting and for the price especially their Mon-Thurs special it can’t be beat!

Most amazing 10″ pizzas you’ll ever have. All the people who call this stuff tasteless must not have tastebuds. I have been eating this pizza since it’s original opening in Elmhurst, and I’m so glad that they opened one in Hicksville, so I don’t need to make the trip every time I get a serious craving. It’s like your own personal pie, so you don’t even need to share. Trust me… you won’t want to. You can get whatever toppings you want… under $ 10. There are also locations all over the city, and long island, so you can find the one closest to you! If you call ahead, they should have it ready within 15 minutes. They do not deliver, but trust me, getting off your tush is worth the trip. If you go on certain weekdays, you even get a buy 2 get one free deal. Tell me that you don’t want some right now… I’ll even come with you…

I have been going to the Elmhurst and Flushing locations for years, I would drive to Queens just for pizza… this location is so close to home and I can have Singas whenever I want. The pizza is the same quality as it is in queens DELISH and the parking is less hectic. My faves are the onion & pepper and the hot pepper never got a pizza here that I didn’t like.
