Our favorite pizza, try the fully loaded salad pizza if you want something different and you won’t be disappointed. The plain or grandma style are also really good. Best sauce, nice people.

Good for pizzas, the style is not quite thin chewy NY style, but it’s alright. We ordered delivery during a snowstorm and they got to us quite quickly, which was very impressive. I had the vongole pasta with white sauce which was unfortunately bland and lackluster. I mean, the clam had no discernable taste, which is really had to do with clams… The sandwiches that other people ordered looked pretty standard and no one was complaining about them. We had pizza from there couple of times before and those were much better in terms of quality for price. They had a tax exemption deal for when we ordered a large quantity for an event for a non-profit organization, provided that we supply them with the necessary documents to prove our non-profit status. That is not the standard with many of the pizzerias here, unfotunately, so huge plus to them. Even though the food can be better, I will probably continue to order from them for this purpose.

Best parmagiana heroes! I have tried a lot of pizzerias along the plainview/Hicksville area and I gotta say they have the best Italian food and everyone is a local so the staff knows everyone. I grew up in queens and it was just like that. The sauce they use in the pizza, heroes, pasta and etc is so sweet and savory.

I’m reluctant to say that this is the best pizza on Long Island because I don’t want the crowd to increase. But it is. What else can I say? Maybe if they used Vincent’s «medium» sauce it would be better than sex. Almost. I’ve eaten there thousands of times. Thousands. It is the best.

I fail to understand why these guys can’t give me a hot slice of pizza? It’s always cold. What’s wrong with them! On top of everything some of their staff are very rude! I would give them zero stars if possible, not customer friendly.

Came here for a late night bite and we were pretty happy with what we got. They warmed up an epic eggplant slice and made us a fresh cheese calzone that was overflowing with cheese. Everyone was super nice and the food was pretty good. Not much else to say about a pizza place, but we’ll definitely be back here again.

Very friendly and service-oriented staff. Great plain cheese pie and excellent white slices. Only been here a few times, but it beats all the pizza places in Plainview we have tried. Raimos is now our go-to place when pizza is for dinner.

Let me begin by saying this is the first review I’ve ever written on Unilocal. But after the terrible experience I had last night, I decided I couldn’t keep it to myself. My wife and I had pizza for dinner here. After we finished, I decided to try a peanut butter ice, which there was a sign for, in the Italian ice/gellato section of the restaurant, since I’d never seen peanut butter ices and I love peanut butter. I walked up to the counter and waited to be called. When it was my turn, I told the guy behind the counter that I wanted a peanut butter ice. He immediately looked annoyed… maybe because he had to walk a few feet to the other side? No idea. So I walk over and he starts scooping what looked like a rainbow ice. I asked if that was peanut butter. He said he didn’t know. I repeated myself and asked if I could have a PEANUTBUTTERICE. He yelled«I don’t know, man… what do you want me to lose my job over an ice? Damn!» I was in shock. How dare I get the flavor of ice that I actually ordered! I said«Can you get someone who DOES know?!» No answer. So I just said«You know what, forget it, sorry for asking you to do your job.» The food in this place is pretty good but not good enough to put up with being treated this way. Therefore, I’ll never go back(I had been going every few weeks) and neither will my family or friends.

Best pizza on LI in my opinion Eggplant ricotta slices and white slices are my fave! A regular slice is my goto most times though. Highly recommended; this spot is incredible.

Stopped by late for quick bite before movie in Westbury. They are always very friendly and accommodating for whatever you might want to order. We got a couple of regular slices and two Grandma slices. Well, since we usually take out and eat at home we thought the pizza was always soft and kinda mushy… Well…let me tell you that eating there fresh from the oven is all the difference in the world. WOW! regular slice was thin crust and crispy delicious woo hoo! Grandma pie even better than Umbertos… was tasty, crispy, thin crust and just plain marvelous. We are going to start eating in at Raimo’s and only take out when necessary… A hint… if your taking out open the vents in the box to get the steam out which is what mush’s the pizza… it may not stay as hot but it will be crisper!

Raimo’s pizzeria in Plainview New York is one of the finest pizzerias there is. The staff is super friendly and well trained. You won’t find any kids working in this establishment. These guys know how to make pizza, and they know customer service! Anytime you’re in the area I welcome you to stop in and give them a try. You will not be disappointed, I promise! The pizza and pasta dishes are cooked just like your grandma used to make. Don’t miss out on some of the best pizza on Long Island. Tell them the Snooch man sent you!

I have to say this pizza kick my taste buds to another level. The pizza was very cheesy and together with the sauce it blended great. It was just plain delicious as well as the garlic knots employees were cheerful as they work and interacted with customers in friendly conversation. I had a great experience stoping in and trying this amazing pizza can’t wait to come back.

Been there 10+ times and always amazing pizza! Very authentic, and fresh. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and take pride in the good they put out. Also have very good gelato, and Italian entrees as well. Entrees are a little expensive but large proportions. I usually stick to the pizza, never had a bad experience here.

There are dozens of reviews on pizza, and I’ve only gotten it here a couple times, so I won’t bother. I’ve ordered Caesar salad with chicken from here three times. The first time it was perfect! Delicious dressing, nice crisp lettuce, croutons that I shouldn’t have eaten but did, nice amount of cheese sprinkled on top. The second and third time I ordered it, the salad was DROWNING in dressing. And I’m not being picky, like it was a little too much; I mean I could have taken a handful of salad and squeezed a tablespoon or two of dressing from it. I figured it had been a mistake and that perhaps a gremlin had tipped the whole can of dressing into my order, so I ordered it for the third time with no fear,. Sadly it seems that drowning is the norm. I couldn’t even finish the salad the second time it happened because the texture was so horrible. The lettuce was heavy and wilted and weighed down by the amount of dressing, making it feel slimy in my mouth. So next time I order it(and there will be a next time because the bones of the salad are still really really good), I’ll get the dressing on the side, even though that seems bizarre in a Caesar salad. Or maybe ask them for less dressing if I’m feeling daring.

I used to adore this place. My family would order dinner from there about once a week. But over the last few months the quality has definitely dropped from a 5 to a shaky 3. Their pasta dishes used to be great, but when I last ordered the baked ravioli, what I got was marginally better than canned sauce and freezer burned ravioli. The pepperoni chips used to be so addictive that you would eat 18 without batting an eye. Now they are dry and somehow greasy at the same time. The sauce on the pizza has lost its superb flavor and now is simply ordinary. The crust is nothing noteworthy when once it was amazing. Their chicken francese is not as lemony and is often tough. They aren’t bad, but if you were accustomed to how amazing they were at one time, they are a major disappointment and are no longer worth the cost. Recently they have started to change the signage inside to make it look more hip. Perhaps that money would be better spent on better ingredients and training staff on making higher quality product. I’m left wondering if they changed management because there isn’t any other justifiable reason for such a decline.

Ordered a sausage and a chicken calzone to go. They are very big and have a very good flavor and they come with a sauce. I waited for about 20mins and it was worth the wait. I would have given then 5 stars but the place was dirty and they had leaking water on top of the food which was pretty disgusting.

Coming back home to Long Island and I’ve been jonesing for some real NY pizza. Tried some other place that ended up just tasting like pizza made in a factory… very corporate. Thankfully found Raimo! This is the real thing. If you’re anywhere near here, stop in and enjoy. And guys, keep the flavors just as they are. It was fantastic. Thanks!

I came in for lunch and got a regular slice $ 2.65 each. No line, I was in and out in under five minutes. The slice was incredibly cheesy. I loved every single bite. The crust was nice and crispy without being burnt. This is how all pizza crusts SHOULDBE! There was no sogginess to be found anywhere on this slice even with the amount of cheese that they put on it. The sauce is very thick, rich and had good flavor. They have several oven’s and are prepared to handle a much higher influx of customers than I witnessed when I entered. The counter was clean and modern the décor was pleasant and so were the employees. I definitely prefer this place to the local pizzeria’s in Westbury and I certainly think it’s worth the drive. It’s as close as it get’s to what I think the perfect slice is. I will return and try some toppings next time and probably some gelato too. I arrived at 12:30 and had no problems with parking at all like some of the other Unilocalers mentioned. I found parking right out front.
