Best mexican restaurant in town. The guacamole is super fresh and yummy and I always get the steak fajita which is to die for. Everything else on the menu is always solid!

I can’t say enough about the staff and food at Margaritas. Love this place. I took my friend there for her 80th birthday and they did everything to make it special. I highly recommend !!!

When we first walked in we stood at the door for a while before anyone came over to greet us. The staff continued to reset tables and walk away even though they saw us standing there. After sitting(it was not a busy night) when the waitress brought our drinks over she poured mine and then promptly took away my husbands without a word. When she came back with the new ½ pitcher she said it was because she saw something. Nice that she caught it and took it away but not sure what she saw … The guac was OK nothing to rave about. The drinks were strong but a little too thick in texture for a margarita on the rocks. Not sure why. Maybe a mix or a nectar? The enchiladas were terrible. The steak was decent but I had to keep pulling hard pieces out of my mouth from the chicken one and the sauce tasted like ketchup it was the worst sauce I’ve ever tasted. If I ever go back it will be because there aren’t many real restaurants in the area.

Had lunch here today. My order came out wrong. Came back right. Beans were tasteless and cool. My flautes(sp) way under seasoned. I was hoping for oh so much better, but was so disappointed.

Not too bad in terms of Mexican food. My friend and I had both at the chicken enchiladas and they were good, but I have had better especially for the price. The happy hour was a great deal though $ 3 beers and margaritas — can’t go wrong with that.

Not too many places can make a good arroz con pollo… which is a staple dish in Latin cuisine but this place hit it right !! Good sized portion with a massive bag of chips and salsa. I am impressed. Also the lunch price was $ 9.00 which is a lot of food for the price. Feel much better than going thru a drive-thru as it is fresh food. Definitely head over there they are courteous and timely. I am a fan.

Small restaurant with cute charm and fun colors. Drinks were great. I enjoyed the guava margarita and raspberry mojito. Churros were tasty! It’s not my favorite Margarita Café. I came here on Cinco de Mayo. It was packed for dinner time. One of the employees asked us to hurry up meanwhile there were people in my group still eating. It’s rude to ask your customers to hurry and leave regardless of the holiday. I doubt I’ll come back to this Margarita Café.

The drinks are amazing, they actually have something in them… alcohol! Perfectly mixed and delicious. Food and service is phenomenal too. Five stars across the board. We went for Cinco and even though it was packed the food quality and service did not suffer one bit.

Went here last night for my «birthday dinner». Service was good, staff was friendly, the margarita was spectacular and the food was great. We both had fajitas(chicken and shrimp). Deliciously seasoned and the guacamole, sour cream etc were all fresh. Definitely will be going here again.

I’ve been here a few times and would rather come here if I’m looking for better drinks, service, and food than On the Border or something. We always tend to the get the appetizers here(those jalapeño poppers are just something else), and the guac is decent(not the best I’ve had and that’s okay!). Even if it’s crowded and there’s a wait to sit down the service is not compromised. We always received our dishes on time and staff was attentive. Mariachi give the place an awesome vibe and I love when they take requests. Long Island is lacking compared to NYC when it comes to food and dining out experience, so this is one of the better spots on the island for sure!

Went on a Thursday night. Almost full tables, quick seating. Service was quick. They do have really amazing specials every night of the week as found on a billboard in the back parking lot(not a lot of parking and be careful of flooding). That night was 2 dinners for $ 20 and includes one appetizer(as well as chips and salsa that comes standard). Pro-tip, make sure you ask them which foods are included in the specials, because they hadn’t given us the specials’ menu until we asked. The décor is really cute and nice too. Bright colors, and very nice painting of Frida Kahlo. Was pretty casual that night but could easily see it being a bit more fancy on weekends. Highly recommend for authentic, terrific food.

I must say that this hidden gem is worth your money! The service is awesome and the food is delicious! I ordered a steak fajita and it came with rice, black beans, and avocado. It was cooked to perfection! For dessert, I definitely recommend the tres leches slice cake! It was so delicious and it was huge for a slice! Will be coming back again. The drinks are amazing as well, I ordered a sangria. The decorations of «Frida» stood out to me, it was very authentic and cozy.

Despite a very busy Saturday night(with a party of 20 people and all tables filled), I did not have to wait long to sit down. The bar area was extremely crowded due to the party of 20 enjoying a drink there, yet the bartender was quick to serve others as well. The bar area was somewhat cramped due to the amount of people at the bar, waiters passing by with dishes to/from the kitchen, and the narrow setup of that part of the restaurant, but I doubt there are that many people sitting at the bar on a regular night. After being seated, the person I went to the restaurant with and I were immediately served water, salsa, and chips. We ordered guacamole as an appetizer and it was made tableside only a minute or two after we ordered. The ingredients were fresh and the woman making the guacamole gave us the option of mild, medium, or spicy. We got the medium and it was great — prepared quickly with just a little perfect bit of spice at the end, nothing overbearing. As for our entrees, I ordered the chicken fajitas and he ordered a burrito with steak(unsure of the name). He told me that it was the«best Mexican steak he’s ever had» and the burrito was served with rice and refried beans with cheese. My chicken fajitas came out sizzling on a bed of grilled vegetables and were served with tortillas as well as a plate of diced tomatoes, guac, sour cream, refried beans, and cheese. We both left the restaurant absolutely stuffed and had a great experience. The service was great(not to mention they had two mariachi singers playing guitar and entertaining restaurant visitors) and the food was, too.

The food is insane! I’m not a fan of the mariachi band, but I guess it goes with the price of admission lol, which is really inexpensive for such great service and food!

This place is bigger than it looks, but it is nicely situated not being in the big shopping center. The food is terrific, classic Mexican menu, which they deliver above classic taste. It is almost laughable to see fake local Mexican joints listed on Unilocal with Margarita’s in the same list.

Went here for lunch and they had so many options to choose from. Anything you can think of, they had it. Waiters were attentive and salsa that was accompanied with the free chips was good(just wished the bowl was big enough to fit a chip in). The tableside made guacamole was good, just not as creamy as I had hoped. Fajitas came out sizzling and my burrito was great. Steak was perfect. The rice and beans were limited on the plate but it was presented well. Great pricing for lunch and will definitely come back again(Many dishes under $ 9.) They do a great fiesta when a person is celebrating their birthday and they have a great, great Flan.

The reviews were pretty spot on. The food is delicious, and the drinks are tasty! The jalepeno margarita was seriously no joke. I loved the fact that there were seeds and pieces of pepper floating in the drink. The salsa is unique and was definitely devoured. My only gripe was the service. I would have enjoyed much more salsa had our server actually returned between taking our order(with my request for«more tasty salsa, please») and providing the bill.
