Global Glass and Mirror

These guys open when they like to. I have ordered a custom made glass top to be delivered the following week and we never got a call from them until two weeks later. I tried calling and going by their store to no avail! Store was closed with no sign posted or anything. I called my credit card company to tell them the situation and they refuted that they can take whatever time they want because they don’t promise any return time. Do not go to these guys. Stay far away!

DO NOT GO THERE! My parents recently went to ask for a quote on a glass piece they needed replaced. The owner was illogically rude, called my parents foul names and kicked them out of the store. If that was not enough, he did it in the presence of other customers. He was completely arrogant and told them he did not need their money. They were effected deeply by his unprovoked attack.

This place was awesome. I needed glass cut for a for a bathroom cabinet and they were able to match the piece exactly to size. They were friendly, professional, and trustworthy. That, in itself, is worth the five stars.

Highly recommend Global Glass and Mirror. The staff was professional, courteous, punctual for both the measuring and delivery appointments, and the custom glass table top we ordered fits perfectly and looks beautiful. The delivery staff spent over 20 minutes ensuring the table and glass were perfectly clean and level. Would definitely call them again.

I called for a quote and I found out after the glass tech was writing up the thee
He would need 90.00 plus tax that would be used toward the job… I called them to let them, know let them know that I was not told of this and said it is standard procedure… So i thought the quote was free since no one told on my original call that it would be 90.00 toward the invoice…
He believe me but did not give me a break… So I am writing, buyer beware…

The worst experience I have ever had with a small business. DO NOT GO HERE.
They took advantage of my old father who went in to have a small screen replicated. $ 180… If that is not bad enough, we were back there 3X with this spring screen because they didnt replicate it with metal loops they instead put plastic rings which fall right out when you pull on them to being the screen into the track. 3 trips back and forth each time they said its fixed, after hanging out a two story building to put this in with the glass out they came off again. He never said they didnt have the metal clips, or they couldnt replicate the screen. Now I want my money back they guy MIKE is rude arrogant, tells me I am yapping at him. A customer who purchased a screen that doesnt work. Tells me plastic rings are samantics, its the same screen, BUT its not, it cant under go the pressure of the spring, its useless. He will not credit me answered calls during my discussion, raised his voice and all and all just so uncomfortable that a person would treat another person like that nevermind a woman and an 80 year old man. HORRIFIC. I said I was leaving the screen there, I wont do this anymore and the credit card will handle, I took at picture of the product. He grabbed the broken loops out of my hand we walked out and he threw the screen at my father out the door. his front door of the business. I was so upset I almost wanted to call 911 for treating my father like this, I was shaking in disbelief. We left and I contacted the credit card company. But please BUYER BEWARE. He attempted to take advantage of an older man, he didnt stand behind is product, he treated us like this and I paid this man money to do a job. Dont be fouled, he should be out of business.

I emailed them to get a price quote for a simple piece of glass. They came back with a quote that seemed high, double what someone else had quoted me. I wrote back to thank them and let them know that I am going a different route which I thought was the polite thing to do and they write back with a smart aleck remark. Kind of like a homeless person that asks for money and when you say sorry they curse you out… which just makes you go from feeling badly to feeling like you made the right choice by not giving them any money. Make the right choice and avoid Global Glass and Mirror of Hicksville.

The owner is a liar and thief. I was quoted 450 by a female secretary for a custom glass table top and had the worker come out the next day and measure the table. When I called to confirm the price (as the guy was here), the owner answered and told me that the 450 was wrong and there was no way he could do it for that and said he would have to «work» out a price that would probably be around 600. The owner was extremely rude to me on the phone and had a giant attitude. I would definitely not recommend ever working with this company. They are in it for the money and don’t do the right thing by their customers.

if your looking for custom work this is your place, matt the owner provides grood customer service and really does good work. i have used his place a couple of times and never dissapoints
