Given the amount of Mediterranean /Greek food I eat, this place is rock solid. The food is made fresh to order and tastes good. The people are very nice as well. It’s a 4.5 of 5.

Really excited this is here! Being a bit disenfranchised by Uncle Pete’s and still not feeling Ayhan’s, there’s a lack of solid mediterranean in the Woodbury/S Oyster Bay Rd neighborhood. For the most part, Baba’s is a straight take out spot. There are a few tables, in case you’re super hungry or have no place to go, but for the most part you’re walking out of here with a bag and trying not to eat all the falafels by the time you get home. You can call ahead, or better yet, order right here on this Unilocal platform so your food is ready for you when you arrive. Last visit, I scooped up… Chicken Shawarma lunch special(w/pita and side of chick peas) Greek Salad Side of Falafels Loved the lunch special, as it had plenty of food for under $ 10, and you can taste that they had the meat on the vertical rotisserie for a while, not taken out of a freezer. I subbed rice for the chicken and veggies over salad without issue. The falafels were good too! Def needed the additional yogurt sauce for dipping, but still a solid choice. I will 100% be back to try some homemade hummus, dolmades, beet salad(OK, now I’m hungry) and other mediterranean treats.

Tried chicken shawarma, Spinach roll and falafal. Falafal is delicious. Shawarma and spinach roll are average. Would like to come again

My boyfriend and I were looking for a bite to eat and remembered that a new place opened by. This place is amazing! He got the chicken shwarma platter and I got the falafel sandwich. The portion size of both plates was perfect. The food was delicious. The service was great. The owner was very kind and suggested some things that we might like, including the spicy pink pickles. Definitely must try! We will be back for more. Thank you for the great food and service!

My husband and I went for lunch. We each got a gyro sandwich and I got an order of the sponikopita mini cigars. The gyros had a lot of meat in them, the tzatziki sauce was delicious and the mini cigars were awesome! We found our new Mediterranean take out place!

The chicken gyro was not seasoned. There was not much chicken on the sandwich. This was a very plain sandwich, and expensive for $ 9.00.

Eh. I’d rate it a C for convenient. The tdziki sauce was much too thick and the lamb and chicken was a little dry. The fries were good. Ordered pita wraps but just came as regular wraps. Two stars is a fair rating for what we ate.

I was excited this place opened so close to my parents house but alas, the Greek salad with falafel and the falafel wrap we had were just not very good. Their meat options could be good I suppose, but I personally believe that every ingredient should be good. The falafel here is simply not that great. The guy who works here also isn’t very friendly. I likely won’t be returning.

Great little Mediterranean takeout place, with a few tables to eat in if you like. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had here. My favorite so far is the chicken shawarma. I get the platter with the rice and vegetables, which also comes with pita bread and a side salad. I’ve also had their beet salad and the baklava, both of which were excellent. I’ve been here 5 times now in two weeks. It’s quick, cheap and easy.

We were very excited for this place to finally open; now we’re very happy to have it around the block. We haven’t ordered one thing that we didn’t enjoy and we’ve ordered from them a lot! The falafel are great! The are just like the falafel you get at the halal food trucks in the city. I appreciate that you can order them(or any protein) as a pita, a salad or a platter. The humus is fantastic and it’s obviously freshly made daily. The dolma are really good. But you must try the beet salad and the couscous salad. Amazing! Their wings and Harissa sauce are yummy. My husband swears by the salmon pita wrap. We’ve gone there so frequently they often throw in a free salad. When they first opened they had the most delicious french fries. They were wedge cut with only salt and pepper. Now they have a seasoning crust on them and they aren’t nearly as good as the original fries. I also agree with the comments regarding their sauces. A couple of times I was accidentally given Tazhki instead of Tahini and other times they forgot sauces or salad dressing. Now my husband knows to check on the sauces before he leaves. I do wish they had a bigger menu.

This is a great addition to the area. I’m so glad they opened. Love their kebabs, especially the tasty and juicy chicken koobideh, and the sides like hummus. The salads all look awesome. I want to try everything on the menu, and I’ll definitely be going back.
