Great price and very generous portions. We went for dinner and the place was quite packed. The waiter was friendly and even warned us if a dish would be sweet or spicy so we knew what to expect before we ordered. My only complaint would be the sushi. The eel inside was fried and very dry. Not quite what I was expecting. For the low price though, I will most likely be coming back.

My husband and I went here for our first date and we try to go whenever we’re in the area however the last 2 times we have gotten food here it has been terrible. Today and a few weeks ago … If you get lunch it seems like what you’re eating is reheated in their kitchen from last night’s leftovers. It’s horrible. The orange peel chicken is bland and has no taste to it. It’s like a TV dinner — the chicken is squishy… ick. And the crispy cheese wontons looked and smelled funny this time. I will not go here again any time soon which makes me sad because it has good memories attached to our eating here. Maybe in a few months we’ll try again.

My friend and I ordered a General Tsos chicken lunch special and a Chicken Pad Thai lunch special. 1. The chicken was awful – the deep fried General Tsos chicken just tasted weird. It wasn’t fresh and you could definitely tell it wasn’t. The crisp breading(that it should have) was not there. It was soggy and drenched with sauce. The chicken in the pad thai was the only part I enjoyed in my dish and I didn’t even like it all that much. 2. Fried rice in the General Tsos– no, just NO. Why is the fried rice ZESTY? What kind of fried rice is zesty? The zesty rice was nasty, but it was the only part my friend liked. 3. Pad thai– I honestly don’t remember the last time that I ordered something and didn’t like it. Well, this dish was definitely a regret. The noodles were chewy? I couldn’t really eat them well, so I kind of just picked at it. The chicken was OK. Slight hint of eggs in the dish. 4. Steamed dumplings– YES. These were delish. 5. Sushi– YES. My crunchy roll was great. I usually order the M&M roll(the more expensive version of the crunchy roll, IMO), but after realizing I had already spent $ 11 on a lunch I didn’t really like, I went on a budget. Lol. From 3pm — 6(?)pm, there is 50% off sushi if you dine in, which was great because that meant the crunchy roll was only $ 3.48 instead of $ 6.95. The two stars are for the sushi and steamed dumplings. Service was eh. Table was dirty with some kind of red mystery sauce… *Overall, I was not impressed with this Wild Wok location. I would rather go to the one on Catawba Blvd, but I was in the area.*

Their«Homemade Mustard» is very tasty! If I do not order their sushi, I usually order their General Tso’s Chicken or their Mongolian Beef with brown rice. I really appreciate that they give the option of brown rice! Their wonton soup or fried cheese wontons are good choices for appetizers. I prefer their veggie spring rolls over their egg rolls, but both are tasty. Always have had good service. Friendly staff. Their lunch specials are an especially good deal!

The sushi was good. The service was terrible. The restaurant only had 2 groups, 5 people and the server couldn’t handle it. The wait staff agreed out in front of customers also agreed with customers about their order.

They have Half off sushi every night from 3 to 6:30. You can’t beat the prices and it’s a fun way to try new types of sushi. Also, the egg drop soup is great. It’s a fun date night spot that won’t break the bank.

I do not think this place was going for any sort of authenticity, but I have experience far better Americanized Chinese food. This place reminds me of a glorified Panda Express. Their portions are great and the price seems fair for the nice appearance of the restaurant itself. The food on the other hand is not acceptable. I cleaned my dish because food is food but that’s only because I am not on the«Chopped» judge panel because those people are ridiculous. I ordered the«House Lo Mein» and I was presented with dry rubbery brown noodles. They put some sort of bland tasting sauce on it. I would have rather eaten plain well cooked noodles. The cluster of meat was okay, but that bland sauce just sucked the life right out of them. Asides from the food, the wait staff was fantastic. Very enthusiastic and on top of our orders. Concluding Haiku: It’s a restaurant Tasted like panda express What can you expect

The pad Thai is horrible along with the summer roll. I got vegetarian pad Thai and there was no tofu or vegetables only noodles. There was also no peanuts in the pad Thai.
