Ordered a 10.5″ sub. Total together was $ 13 something~ i had checked the bag for white bread, bbq and spicy mayo, lettuce, eggs, pickles, x2 meat(roast beef), and toasted. It was pretty cold, 1 bite of spicy mayo and no bbq at all. Not sure what i was charged for it. Sadly disappointed.

It’s like Subway, but way better. I love the unique and fun ordering system, and the amount of customization choices, I never order the same thing twice! Plus, the house chips are really fantastic and if you ever want to order a milkshake, Get it from here, I’m tellin ya, The milkshakes are like, a hidden gem in the sea of sandwiches, like drinking straight up oreos. I took my friends here once and they were hooked, a little pricey, but definitely worth it.

I do feel this restaurant has a really neat ordering system. You walk in and grab a bag, mark on it what you want, and then they use it to make your food. I like it! I got the cheesesteak, and it was really good. The meat tasted fresh, as well as the bread. The chips made in house were pretty good, and I enjoyed the free sample before ordering them. I don’t think they are that much better than regular bagged chips, but it was a nice change. The feel of the restaurant was nice, with plenty of seating, but not small feeling. The girl that helped me order my food was very sweet. I will definitely go back in the future when I am home visiting family, as it was a good place to eat, although a little pricy I thought. There is also a Tutti Frutti yogurt place a few stores down that was an excellent place to get a dessert after our meal. I definitely recommend both!

It’s the best sub place around! Great options for vegetarians. The only frustration I have is that the tables are rarely clean. They seem short staffed. I end up cleaning the table myself because they are all busy making subs.

I had a good experience and love the concept and setup of the restaurant. Anyone who says the process is confusing is totally wrong as it couldn’t be more black and white. My sandwich came out just as I ordered it and was very yummy. My only complaint was that it was slightly pricier than I thought it should be, but it seemed like higher quality than your run of the mill fast food sandwich joint. Lots of veggie options here too.

I’m a huge fan of Unilocal! It’s helped me find many good restaurants over the years. It’s also helped me avoid some. Definitely AVOID which wich! I got the wicked which is dubbed as three meats and three cheeses. I ordered the medium size and it was $ 10.50 and total garbage. Please see pics and tell me where either the meats or cheeses are on this sandwich. Ripoff ripoff ripoff! I should have got a tip when in a span of ten minutes three sets of customers walked out. All three employees are very nice and this is no bad things to say about them. Very nice. However all three just sat down to eat next to me. Not a big fan of employees eating in dining room. They should have their own space. Please close and reopen as a Jersey Mikes!

I’m on the fence about if I would return here again or not. Ordering here is confusing especially since this was our first time. You have 8 paper bags that you choose depending on what type of sandwich you want. Then you have to carefully mark every thing you want on or done to your sandwich on the bag. We had to ask for help with this, but the staff was friendly enough and helped us order. Be very careful marking you bag or you will leave off something you want on your sandwich as I did. You then turn your bags into the cashier and pay and then the sandwiches are placed in the bags you made your order on. Food is good albeit pricy. I got a medium(10.5″) Philly Cheese steak and my wife a small(5.5″) French dip. We shared a bag of their homemade thick cut crinkle chips with a spice blend(good) and 2 medium drinks. We also shared one oatmeal cookie and this put our bill just short of $ 20. Fairly steep for just sub sandwiches. They do have a few more selections as for as size and types of sandwiches than subway plus items like caramelized onions and the red pepper relish to add an extra kick. They also have a bigger cheese selection including bleu cheese. Plus they have crushed ice for your drinks. So I guess if your wanting a little more selection and maybe a little more upscale sub sandwich than Subway, and your willing to pay the extra cost for it, then Which Wich may be for you.

Amazing place. I have yet to try a sub that I don’t like. Takes a while to get your food but they always have newspapers to read while you wait. The staff is always friendly and make sure that you are comfortable ordering.

This is a nice concept for making a custom sandwich. Mark your order onto the bag, so your request is easily followed. The quality of the food is average, however, and to spend $ 40 on lunch for 3… at a fast food outlet, is a bit steep, for what is ultimately, just a sandwich. We got 3 sandwiches, 3 chips, 1 soda, and 1 milk shake. The chocolate milk shake doesn’t taste like chocolate. I asked for extra chocolate, after I found out they use vanilla ice cream as the base. It didn’t help. I would go again, but dig out my smart dining strategies. Order the largest sandwich and share, and drink water, and hope to walk out the door feeling better about what I just spent for a quick lunch.

For whatever reason, Unilocal’s ap. won’t let me check into this restaurant. It’s so funny, because I get a «too far away» message while sitting inside the restaurant, oh well… The sandwiches are made fresh to order at Which Wich. The«girls» process orders quickly, so I’ve never had to wait in line. Sandwiches are ready only a couple of minutes after ordering. I have found the staff to be on the ball and all business, but not especially friendly. They will help you order a sandwich, because the bags are kind of confusing. The restaurant is CLEAN. Which Wich is conveniently located in a strip mall adjacent to Valley Hills Mall, Hickory’s version of South Park. It is well patronized by locals and area police. The sandwiches are okay, but no better than places like Firehouse Subs, Groucho’s Deli, or Jimmy John’s. Their sandwiches aren’t as good as those found at the local Jason’s Deli or Hatch’s Sandwich Shop. Our local Jason’s is superb, and Hatch’s is on a whole other level entirely. Prices are on the high side for a sandwich, and yes, as another reviewer conjectured, one could have eaten at a meat and two restaurant for the same price. BTW, the Unilocal/Google map is way off the actual location. This restaurant is located in an area, the Highway 70 Google Bermuda Triangle, where ALL of the map locations are incorrect. I fix them when I am in the mood, but they aren’t always corrected/updated by Google. Don’t go by the map or you will end up at Google’s default location on the west side of Hickory. It’s so funny, the map always defaults to the same location on Hwy. 70SW, across from the Captain D’s. According to Google, there must be seventy or eighty places located at that same intersection. Have a great day!

I love this place! It is my favorite restaurant to go to in Hickory! The bread is great, the house chips are delicious, the staff are friendly. This is a wonderful place to eat. I would highly recommend it.

This was our first visit to Which Wich but, for starters the service was very rude. My daughter purchase a bowlwhich and had requested guacamole which was an additional charge. She went back to the counter and the attendant told her she already gave her some but, she would give her some more anyway. Clearly there was none on her salad. The food was ok but, very pricey for a fast food place. We could have got around the same price for a sit down restaurant.

We have been here quite a bit since they opened. Pretty straight forward in terms of ordering but I do like how you can take as long as you need to decide what you want on your Wich. I’ve tried about 6 different kinds of Wichs and each has been superb. The place is clean and good. Two pluses for me. I much prefer over Jimmy johns. As another reviewer points out staff is all business not overly friendly. However, I’m okay with that as most days I’m in here I’m in a rush. PS great for the kiddos too!
