Excellent food and service and always consistent.
The owner Gabe is always there and looks after every little detail. If it’s not on the menu what you want, just tell him, and he will make it gladly.
Far better than any other Italian restaurant in the area.

Ordered lasagna and salad for an office party and everyone raved about how good it was. I had never been to this restaurant and used Unilocal reviews to help me pick. I was not disappointed and the service was excellent!

Salads dressing is home made like the rest of the food and stands out as one of my favorite restaurants in Miami lakes.
Try the chicken parmesan it’s home made and very light yet filling, you fell good after eating it.

I’m a lasagna snob and this place is up there w the best of them. The dinner comes w fresh bread, a nice opening salad and the wine is generously served by the glass. Two thumbs up!

We did not have a good experience. I think the server was even embarrassed, the food was cold, bland, and pricey.

Zero complaints!!! Exceptional! Owner Gabriel and staff are superb! Food was on point! I ordered chicken marsala… yummy and my friends ordered the whole fish… they licked their fingers!

This review is specifically based on my experience.
The ambiance of the place is a bit musty when you are sat towards the back.
The place feels a bit claustrophobic and it’s very dimly lit (doesn’t help). The food was ok in my book but what really merited the 3 stars was the service provided by our waiter and the singer they have. They are very nice and attentive. I didn’t like what I ordered for an appetizer and the waiter took it back and didn’t charge me for it…
Overall It’s an ok restaurant, would not really recommend it if you are looking for authentic Italian as they are more «Italian-​American».

A very quaint and charming Italian restaurant. As soon as we walked in we immediately felt at home. It had a very down-​to-​earth atmosphere about it. The kind you see in NY eateries.
The food was very good. I’ll spare the details.
Long story short, we ended up going back the second time. The owner was very generous and gave us a bunch of free appetizers.
I’ll be going back to this place if I’m ever in Miami again.

Great food great atmosphere.. the food taste fresh and made with love. Everything is to perfection from the amount of the sauce to the temperature is served. The chicken parm taste like no other soft, juice and crunchy. The fried calamarie is crunchy, it taste so fresh it seems is made to order. If you like Italian food is a most.

There are a few places in Miami that can measure up to Trattoria pampered Chef!!! Excellent service, excellent dining, and complimentary hors d’oeuvres! What a local Treat!

Service is great the food is pretty good too. The owner is often there and goes out of his way to accomodate. The kids mac n cheese was terrible had a rancid taste to it though and some dishes are hit or miss from the few times I’ve been there.

I would have to say that my wife and I were pretty impressed with the décor and romantic ambience that we encountered as we entered this establishment. We would have never thought of trying out this place if it wasn’t by the reviews from our fellow Unilocalers.
The service was excellent and we were made right at home by the staff and owner. They even went out of their way to provide us with complimentary pasta e fagioli soup, which was delicious. Our entrees were well prepared, fresh and very tasty.
Overall our dining experience was very pleasant and we would recommend our fellow Unilocalers to give them a try. For sure we will be back.

While they have 5-​star bread, the actual food destroyed the ratings. The pasta fagioli was watered down and tasted rancid. Shrimp Gorgonzola had a thick white cream sauce that was really flavorless with a side of pasta in a red sauce??? I can’t imagine I would come back. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive though.

I really, really love this place. the service here is by far the best you can possibly get. This place is at the corner of my house and a hidden little gem in Miami Lakes. tucked away in a corner of a shopping center this place is really worth a stop in. we’ve been here before for dinner but sat outside and it was a weekday.
our recent visit was on a Friday night and left so pleased. We got sat right away and at the best table there. right in front of a live performer. This place is Authentic Italian, from the wine to the food to the owners. I ordered a glass of their house red wine and surprisingly it was really good. The live performer sang great hits of Nat King Cole, Sinatra and Judy Garland. He sang well and kept the audience’s attention. he brought up people to sing with him and came over to our table a few times. We really enjoyed him. The owner immediately asked what my daughter wanted so she wouldn’t have to wait on the food. they took care of her and even brought her some pizza bread to enjoy complimentary. The service was great throughout the entire night. They continuously filled our water, brought our food timely, even complemented us with an ice cream for my daughter and a tiramisu for dessert.
The food was very tasty and great portions. (enough for the next day) I love the Gorgonzola chicken with fettuccine. its so creamy and delicious. My fiancé had the Pesto penne with fish. His fish was very good. Overall the food was very good. Prices are very reasonable as well.
If your in the area, or want authentic Italian with real at home service, this is the place to go. I will definitely be back.

This is my second time coming to this restaurant. My initial visit I thought was good but it was an early dinner on a weekday. We decided to try it again on a Friday night and it turned out to be a great decision. When we arrived, the owner greeted us and so did a live performer they had singing that night. They immediately sat us down with front row seats of the performer. We decided to take out 6 yr old daughter with us and she had a great time. They offered to take our daughters order first while we decided on a wine to choose plus our meal. We chose a red house wine that was very good, I would recommend it. I decided on a pesto pasta (pesto is my favorite) with fish. I didn’t get to ask what kind of fish they added but i was truly impressed of how delicious it was. My fiancé chose a Gorgonzola with chicken plate, which she loved. The meals included a side salad that had a very tasteful dressing on it. Now back to the service… Initially the owner was attending us but he then passed it on to his son, he was GREAT! We truly felt like we’ve been going to this restaurant for years the way the service was and how attentive everyone was with us. Towards the end of our meal the performer came and spoke with us for a bit during his break. He was a very nice guy and played a few great songs even some requested by the crowd. To top it all off without requesting it, they brought us dessert on the house. This was a great gesture to complete a great night at a restaurant and I can guarantee you that was one of many to come.
Great authentic Italian restaurant, prices are reasonable, great food, great atmosphere and service! I haven’t gotten this kind of service in a very long time. I’m glad to see there’s still family owned restaurants that value their customers like this place!

I had my son’s Graduation Family Luncheon there and the food and service was excellent. We had fried Calamari and Mussels for appetizer, Caesar Salad, Chicken Marsala, Fish Frances a and Spinach & Cheese Cannelloni. For dessert, Tiramisu and Cappuccino. Everything was excellent.
I also ordered from them for my brother’s 60^th birthday celebration and the only I can say that they make me look great. We had Lasagna, Chicken Parmigiana, Cheese & Spinach Cannelloni, Greek Rice and Greek Salad. The food was awesome and the price excellent.
What can I say about Gabriel, the owner, he is a very nice guy and make you feel at home.
