I came in at 11:00am and it was already open and with customers. That was a good sign. Monday-Wednesday price for haircuts is $ 10. That’s great for those of us who prefer to go on these days. Elsewhere, it could be a lot more. So, this is definitely a great price.

I’ve been getting my haircut here for several years. There is always a barber here ready to cut. I get mine cut with Nick so I always make an appointment. Friendly staff. They even offer you some Cuban coffee every now and then. Don’t forget to order the best Pan con Bistec in Hialeah from the cafeteria a few doors down.

For being active with Our Local Community here in Hialeah, I’m blindly issuing them five stars. Which, is how I found-out about them. Currently our Hialeah Kiwanis is running a food drive. Inside this business is where one of the collection boxes is. I needed a haircut, I had heard about them, I was in the area and, bada bing bara boom, I’m at Nick’s Barber Shop. Upon entering you will notice it isn’t a large space. It’s also your expected and typical men’s barber shop. It’s maintained clean. All the barber stations were organized and well stocked. I was impressed with the conveniently built-in«air pressure cleaning thingamajig» hanging from the ceiling at all stations. There is also plenty of seating in the waiting area. I was here on a Tuesday in the early afternoon. It wasn’t particularly busy but, they kept a steady flow of clients while I was there. Including Nick himself, there were a total of four barbers here today. From the looks of it, known clients that have been coming here for a while frequent the shop. I came-in as a walk-in and I was greeted and taken care of immediately. However, an appointment is always recommended at these types of businesses. By the time I left all barbers were attending to clients. The fact that the barber was able to fix the mess that was on my head? Another five stars. I walked-in looking like I «accidentally» had sexual intercourse with an electrical socket. That being said, this will be my barber from here on out. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * Language — Unlike other barbers in Hialeah, English is spoken very well here and appears to be the preferred language. Si solamente son de habla español, no tendran ningun problema aquí. Por lo que pude observar todos los barberos son de origen hispano. But, that may not be the case necessarily. * There is ample parking in this shopping center. The shopping center does tend to get more crowded on the weekends. This shopping plaza is shared by several other businesses. * Their prices are competitive. Monday through Wednesday is when they have their specials. I got a full fade finished with a blade for Ten Bucks. * Their specialties are tapered men’s fades, eyebrows and beards. * I thought it was cute that they also sell scents for your vehicles.
