My experience here was good. I went with a group of people and we were seated almost promptly. Our individual meals arrived together and on time. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. I would recommend them and I’ll be back.

Man, oh man, I’m not one to leave poor reviews, but this was quite a lackluster experience. We were seated almost immediately on Christmas Day, which was a pleasant surprise. But if we only knew… We were seated and left alone for maybe 15 minutes, sans silverware and water. Finally, I was able to flag down a random server who just happened to make eye contact. His name was Jonathan and he was just lost… He could barely speak English, had no idea what was on their menu and what their menu options even included, and also never brought us our water or silverware. Taking our order took a solid 5 minutes so he could write everything down, figure out the spelling, etc. He apologized After 15 minutes and waterless, I stood up and stopped another random server and asked her to bring us some water. She asked who our server was, and when I told her, she rolled her eyes and muttered«oh, God.» Well, that’s comforting. She left with the promise that she would fix it. 10 minutes later, Jonathan reappeared with our waters. He apologized for the wait because of how busy it was. Still no silverware. Jonathan came back 3 separate times, noting that there was no soup, there was no Mac and cheese and there was Spaghetti. This was over the course of another 15 – 20 minutes. Another server, Cynthia, came to deliver the last bit of bad news, at which my family had had enough. We stood up and left, hungry at 9:30 pm and fed up with the hour wait for nothing but water. Never again. I’ve never been so outraged with a meal experience. I understand they’re busy for Christmas, and it’s not entirely Jonathan’s fault he wasn’t properly trained before they threw him in full force. As we were leaving, a busboy apologized to us from the hostess booth, with the excuse that a lot of the employees were new and hadn’t been trained. That makes it entirely the manager’s fault, and is a poor excuse for bad service.

We had great service the waiter was fantastic. However three people three different tables came in after we did two of the three tables were eating before us. I’ll never go back to this place. When we got the fish it was frozen inside. The waiter removed it plus gave us a free meal. Like I said excellent service. I’ll still not go back.

I love this place and the burgers are soon good. Sometimes it takes a whole for the food to get here but its worth it, I also love how nice and friendly the staff is.

Service was very nice. Got an extra glass of water with my coffee without even asking. Everything was quick and timely and the food was good. My only complaint was they changed the cheese without asking what I’d like but it happens.

Good was fine, so was the service from the waitress. But the kitchen was very slow and messed up a lot of orders, including mine. At the end of the day it’s just a Denny’s

Last night around 9 I went to Denny’s for a quick bite with my boyfriend. First of all the last place wasn’t so filled to me but my bf says otherwise. To me it’s filled when there’s a line of people waiting to be seated. But anyways we get there and we’re seated right away which is great then about 20 maybe 25 mins pass and a waitress asks us «is there anyone serving you?» We obviously said no after that she took our order and we didn’t see the food for about almost 10 at night! It basically took an hour for someone to attend us, take our order and actually bring the food. My bf got nachos and a sub I got salad and French toast, his nachos came way before the rest of the food. I ended up just eating the French toast and taking the salad in a box because I was filling my stomach up with water. Just to make it short this Denny’s even though I love it because it’s right by my house the service keeps getting worse, I’m either going to go to a different Denny’s or call the company and have them send a person down to fix it. This is getting ridiculous.

Their service isn’t always quick, but the waitresses are so nice. I usually go for brunch or breakfast and always leave there feeling satisfied. I will tell you one thing, they’re usually packed! No matter what day and what time, this place is pretty filled with people. I love trying different things from the 2,4,6,8 menu since they usually change it up every month or so and they have great options. I love Denny’s :)

This place is the worst slow as hell two employees only. It took an hour and a half to bring a French toast and hash browns not even well cooked. Service just sucks

Tables were sticky. Service was lacking. Food was greasy… but I have to have my fill every now and then despite not fully enjoying the meals ever. You know it’s going to be a good experience when your waitress is bickering with another table about forgetting to put in an order and then warns you in low whispering voice that it’s going to take long because there’s a large group… when the place is nearly empty. They changed their fries and they majorly suck now. Not to mention they were raw. Yet I still need it every so often. Go figure.

I come here frequently and every time I order the same thing, but this time I decided I wanted something new, so I had the Bourbon Bacon Burger, it was absolutely delicious the patty was well done, and the cheddar bun was so full of flavor. I wouldn’t mind ordering it again. And our waiter, Jovelyn C, was so nice and helpful, she would constantly check up on us, make sure our food was fine, would make sure our cups weren’t empty. I would definitely recommend anyone to her. She’s the best.

Wow, I’m a review pioneer! This Denny’s is located close to the Westland Mall in Hialeah. It has a spacious parking lot and on this day, my friends and I did not encounter any wait time for a booth. We were seated quickly and received great, attentive service from our waitress, Carmen. The food is your standard Denny’s food, of course, but the patrons consisted of middle-aged people, families, and seniors, and the service was friendly. It was nice to eat in a drama-free, relaxing environment sans shady characters. Maybe that’s my fault for heading to Denny’s in the wee hours of the morning(or how I see it, night time, as it’s still dark even if it’s 1 or 2 a.m.!). My friends preferred this over our other breakfast spot, La Carreta, so this will probably become our new meeting spot, although it’s not in my neck of the woods. Considering the experience was pleasant though, I would not mind coming back.

If you are my age or older, you must remember what going to any Denny’s was like. Horrible service because they just had to serve you, uninteresting uninspired food only eatable if you were too drunk to notice and lest I forget, wrong orders being brought to you at any given time. This Denny’s, specifically, was an utter disaster encompassing everything mentioned above and then some. I do frequent this location in the early morning hours for breakfast but, I didn’t have the Unilocal check-in app to let our entire planet know where I was at any given time at my last visit. So, because I am a member of Denny’s on-line, I frequently get coupons via e-mail. Last night I received one for 20% off my entire check. If you go to Denny’s regularly I do recommend taking the time to sign up. This was also my first time having a non-breakfast meal at Denny’s in a very long time. With a 20% discount I convinced myself into going even though I really wasn’t hungry. The Food: I had a garden salad, their currently on promotion Smaug’s hand pressed Fire Burger, a chocolate shake and their apple crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream atop. As much as I really and truly hate to say this, this was a very decent and complete garden salad in comparison to many of the locally owned Mom and Pop restaurants. Sure, a real farmer probably didn’t pick-up the ingredients and hand delivered them to the restaurant on his burrito but, very good. The burger includes everything spicy you would expect, as precisely described on the menu, that will likely give you Hemorrhoids when you wake-up the next morning. Some of the ingredients, like the spicy sauce, has it’s unique name as it relates to this burger. I like spicy foods and this too, was very unique and good. The chocolate shake was the same you always would expect from any Denny’s as well as the apple crisp. The Service: Looky here, looky here and looky here; WOW! What a pleasant surprise folks. Again, I hate to say this, locally owned Mom and Pops in Hialeah, please learn something if you want to stay in business. Get this folks, she purposely waited until I was done with my salad when she asked if I was ready for my burger. I, of course, took long on purpose to see. Let me just add this before I go, her shift ended with me. How did I know this? Because she left at the same exact time that I did after I paid. Not once while I was dining was I rushed nor given the hint she was ready to go. I normally don’t post names on my reviews but, this is well deserved. Her name is Lianet and the manager’s name, also a pleasure to speak with, is Alma. I also went ahead and ordered an entire coconut cream pie to bring home. Thank God I wasn’t really hungry, eh? So, hats off and props to Denny’s for updating your menus, for an obvious effective training program with your staff and kitchen. Please Note: This is not a problem for me, however, Inglitch ees noht the maing languitch here. Upon request, I’m sure, they do have English speaking peoples here, i.e., during breakfast, the manager last night. *** Una nota para los dueños de restaurantes locales en Hialeah: Pónganse las pilas y aprendan si quieren que sus puertas permanezcan abiertas.

Places like this are what the«Late Night Gourmet» list were written for! After a 12 hour day(and taking work home!!), and missing an Elite event :(, this Denny’s off«La 49» hit the spot. I’m spotting them an extra star for friendly service and a clean locale. Tonight I noshed on their buffalo chicken melt, which to my pleasant surprise, was covered in a decently spicy sauce and a cheese slice that overhung the bread. The chicken portion itself also filled the bread and allowed itself to disappear into the taste of the hot sauce. Fries are the large square cut type, and I was given BBQ sauce to dip them in. Even the Dessert Snob made an appearance while enjoying a(somewhat smallish) but rich, sweet and tasty strawberry shake. Coke refills were on point. Besides the size of the shake(about $ 3 for a smallish cup) my only complaint is the music. I’m guessing they take the«diner» concept seriously and were laying down the 50s tracks(from«Helping Rhonda» down to sappy stuff.) Still, friendly service and a cute waitress earns them 4 stars. Now back to work!

I havent been to a Denny’s for a few years. And even then, I can’t say I ever came during the day or at any time that wasnt the block of time between about 3:00 a.m. and about 6:00 a.m. Its just one of those places you end up after a late night of dancing/partying/whatever-ing for some greasy food to soak up the alcohol. That said, Mr. F and I came here about two weeks ago on a Sunday morning for breakfast(I didnt want to come here but it was convenient so we popped in). first of all there was a bit of a wait(at this point it took all the self-control I could muster to not be one of those whiny chicks who stomps and pouts to get what she wants. which was to leave), then we were seated and my coffee came to me in what was clearly a dirty glass(strike two), the waitress took it back and apologized and I continued eating my completely flavorless meal in an attempt to hurry this experience along/I was about half way finished when she brought me back another(or so I thought) cup of coffee. Just as I was about to take my first sip Mr. F points something out… No. it couldn’t possible be… I must be hallucinating. Yes, she didnt even bother getting me another cup, she just dumped out the coffee that was inside and poured another cup into the SAMEDIRTYGLASSFROMBEFORE! Needless to say we left promptly and I shall never return. Serves me right… next time I’m stomping and pouting!
