Before I took my little Dexter anywhere, I did A LOT of research! I noticed that Pick of the Litter had amazing reviews and tons of pictures to show their work. I asked if they had done lots of cuts for Yorkies, and they told me about their Yorkie specialist Tara.
I’ve brought my little Dexter to Pick of the Litter twice since I found out about them, and am beyond pleased! Tara does an amazing job of grooming and does exactly what I ask for! She has extensive knowledge of Yorkies (hence, being a Yorkie specialist) and it’s an additional bonus! All of them are really friendly and treat my Dexter with kindness! I would definitely recommend them in a heart beat!
Side note: Just make sure to book an appointment ahead of time because of how busy they are.

Best Pet Salon in the High Desert. Been trying different groomers in the HD with an ok result. After reading good reviews decided to go with A Pick Of The Litter and beyond happy with how my pup looks. Groomer did an awsome job. Truly recommend them if you live in the HD. I took my long haired German Shepherd there and they did a great job. She was way over due for a groom and she has anxiety so I know she can be a handful but they did a great job with her and they were friendly and patient the whole time. Definitely will go back.

I remember seeing this groomer when it first opened and I figured why not give it a shot see how it is I’ve been taking my dog ever since! Kelly is awesome I love how she treats all the animals her shop is very clean and I’ve never had a bad experience nor has my dog ever had a bad haircut. I’ve been to the funky poodle too, which is another popular groomer, but pick of the litter is hands-​down the best one in the high desert!

So I moved to Hesperia and had to find a new local groomer. My oldest fur baby is difficult my newest one is ok… they did great I picked them up and they looked adorable. i asked if Lady my oldest gave any trouble they said no… the had a Halloween scarfs and bows looked super adorable and they gave them a snack… prices were also reasonable… they are my new groomer as long as they will have us lol. and they polish nails and dye hair. i will definitely have nails polished next time

Hands down best groomers in high desert.
Been trying several groomers since I moved to Victorville. I brought my 3 shih poos and German Shepard. very happy with how they all came out. .
I finally found a salon to stick with

Love them! They do such a great job every time and the staff is so nice. Every other groomer I’ve ever been to has taken over 5 – 7 hours to get my dog back. With them, I know I can drop him off, go run my errands and pick him up within a couple hours. I don’t think I’ve ever waited past 3 hours and he always looks perfect. The prices are also great, $ 35 for the «works» and $ 20-​$ 25 for a clean up. I highly recommend them but make sure you call at least a week in advance because they do fill up.

This grooming salon deserves every single star! They are amazing! My dog always looks great and smells even better and best of all he’s happy there and comes home with a treat! The staff is very friendly and kind. Great prices and great work!

We’re so thrilled to have found a great pet groomer for our husky. These ladies are wonderful! They are super kind and our husky enjoys going here. Our husky has never looked and smelled as good.
We have been to another groomer near apple valley rd/​yuca loma rd but the groomer tried to tell us our husky was a malamute and charged more (we don’t mind paying more but we clearly have a husky) plus his skin would come back with white flakes/​redness and scratching himself constantly. We don’t use a furmanator on him any longer and his coat is much softer. Great service and prices :-)

Kelly is amazing!!! My dogs absolutely love going here and they always come out looking fabulous!!! I’ve recommended a few friends to bring their furry friends here and I still have yet to hear anything negative about this pet salon! We will always cherish Kelly and her amazing pet styling abilities!

Tara did such an amazing job on my two yorkies! I typically groom them myself because I just hate wasting money on a poorly executed grooming. However, Tara took the time with me to ensure she understood what I wanted and it turned out great. Not to mention my dogs loved her, and the price was great. $ 35 for an exceptional cut, bath, and nail trim. A pick of the litter has earned my business!

They were so nice and they made my homeless looking pomeranian into a gorgeous new looking dog with adorable bows. Definitely will be coming here from now on.

We’ve been coming here bi-​weekly for the last 7 months. Kelly and her staff are the best group of animal folks we’ve seen! Always friendly and courteous, they take care of your pets. Our pup comes home refreshed, clean, and happy! She knows where she’s headed before we even turn into the parking lot! She gets excited and bolts to the door every time. The prices are very affordable, and if you don’t carry cash, Kelly has a card swiper that allows you to add a tip! Love this shop!!!

This is a great shop, Kelly is great with my dogs they love her .the shop is clean and when I pick up my dogs they look like movie stars so white and there cuts are awesome, give Kelly a try and you’ll be hooked.

I go to Kelly I followed her from Hair of the Dog. She has always taken great care of my maltipoo even when she was horribly matted (sorry Kelly!) Thanks for being so great to my Bebe!
