So disappointed. Bedspread was stained, breakfast hot items were empty and walls are paper thin. Not a place to bring the kids unless you want them asking you about the birds and the bees, if you know what I mean. It was horrible to hear at 3 am. Never coming back.

We stayed her for one night after a concert at Hershey. The room was very clean and a decent size. We were put into a room right next to the elevator, and I was worried about noise, but it was actually quite quiet. You could hear the bell from the elevator at the front of the room by the door, but the bed was in a nook and we heard nothing all night. The receptionist was very friendly and suggested that we walk to the concert to avoid traffic afterwards. It was a good, quick stay!

You can’t beat the price! The rooms have just been remodeled and they are quite fancy and modern looking for a super 8! The breakfast is ok if you like watery coffee and raisin bran :) but not terrible for what you think you’re going to get! Bananas run out fast so hurry down at 8:30!

Pretty nice for a budget motel. Quiet. Fine front desk. Breakfast fine enough. The lobby and the room were very clean. Would recommend.

Super 8 is awesome. It is a 37 bed hotel/motel — 5 minutes to Hershey Park. They could not be more friendly and accommodating. From Meeta to(I’m so sorry I forget your name — yet he was awesome) to Dave to the hotel manager. No task was too large or too small to accommodate. When I mentioned to Dave that the coffee was not that good — he played around with it the next morning — greatly improved. The breakfast selection was decent. My 7 grandchildren loved the hotel. The rooms were super spacious — bathroom really nice — very clean hotel. We would stay there again. Super management– very accommodating! Oh, when I asked for adjoining rooms, it was«no problem» ~ they totally remembered.

If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay in Hershey… the new Super 8 might just be your place. My wife and I decided to take a detour on our way to Philadelphia to make a stop at Troeg’s Brewing Company in Hershey. Given neither of us wanted to drive so that we could enjoy the experience, we wanted to find a cheap hotel in Hershey that we could take a cab from/to. After choosing the Super 8 as one of the cheapest options in this area, my expectations were not high(especially considering I typically stay at SPG properties). Needless to say, I was surprise. We arrived at the Super 8 to find a brand new building(when booking the hotel, we didn’t realize it had just opened). Although it’s no Taj Mahal, there’s something to say about a brand new hotel that’s a welcoming sight. Check-in/out were super easy and we found ourselves assigned a room that exceeded our expectations(once again, for the cheap price). Although the bed was as hard as a rock, there was a brand new large HDTV with satellite, a mini-fridge/microwave, etc. Throughout the room, there were some minor issues(sticking bathroom door, etc.), but they all seemed to be due to recent construction. It wasn’t until we took our ride to Troegs that we found out from our cab driver that the owners of the Super 8 had done much of the construction themselves. Impressive given the amount that likely need done, but it also showed at times. Overall, I’ll definitely book the Super 8 if I find myself in Hershey again. It’s in no way a knock-out hotel and it definitely has its quirks, but for the price, it honestly can’t be beat!
