Covering Windows

I used Unilocal to find «Covering Windows» so thought I would repay the favor of those who did reviews as I too had an equally good experience! My initial concern was how little I knew about plantation shutters other than I loved them and wanted them! But, how to measure, order and pick the correct ones for my windows. I did not want a costly mistake! My phone call was answered (how refreshing) and I was able to get a convenient appt time. Kass came out and was able to recommend what he felt was best and the reasons why. He was very honest about the time it would take to get them made… which I appreciated. Shockingly they came in on the day I was promised and installed that following day. I don’t think this has ever happened to me! I liked the idea that he did the install with a ‘helper’ I always worry that I’m going to get someone who is new or is sloppy. Having the owner do the install put me at ease (I have an older home and nothing seems easy on installations) Would definitely use this company in the future as well as recommend to friends and colleagues.

Today, my gf and I had the pleasure of working with Kass for our window covering needs. Our project required 19 horizontal and 1 vertical binds.
Kass was knowledgeable, experienced, patient and kind. He offered suggestions during our decision making process without being over bearing or pushy.
Kass gave a very fair price for a quality product and was about 40% less than Next day Blinds and about ~15% less than Home Depot (the quality of the blinds was better than the other stores). It was a no hassle, no pressure experience that we enjoyed.
PS– This is a family owned business and we are glad to support a local business knowing that we will get the attention throughout and after the project. I will add another review after the blinds have been installed.

I purchased a Living Social deal and had shutters installed in my bedroom. The company was very easy to work with and communicate with. I got an estimate done on a weekend, which was convenient because I didn’t have to take off of work. The shutters arrived within the time frame that I was quoted and the product was installed beautifully. They were great about making sure they didn’t track any dirt in the house or leave any debris from the packaging.

I had a fantastic experience with this business and ended up doing plantation shutters throughout my entire home. I first found them on a Groupon, but called the business directly and ended up doing direct transaction with them (worked to my advantage). His prices are about 50% cheaper than Next Day Blinds (I actually got one window from them). I felt the quality of their product was better and their customer service was outstanding. I absolutely recommend these guys if you need shades for your house.

Install over 30 planation shutters on a new home including 2 bay windows.
Kass was very respectful and knowledgeable. We originally wanted white for all windows but he recommended that we match the kitchen shutters with the cabinets which turned out great. We did have an issue with the upstairs shutters but we came to an agreement and resolved the problem. We are very happy with the quality of the plantation shutters and they all look beautiful.
