Have dined here several times in the last few years. Food’s always good and consistent, bit on the pricy side.

I am disappointed to report that this restaurant has gone down hill. This was my go-to lunch spot. Used to be great food, amazing service and an all around great dining experience between the office and gym for me. Unfortunately, those great factors have come to a halt. The previous owner/waiter would serve me a quarter chicken lunch special with sides and was excited to bring me my items. He is no longer to be seen. Today, the waiter rudely took my order and sent 3 different employees/managers to lecture me on why the portion sizes have remained the same(although they have definitely decreased.) It was far from ideal and frankly an uncomfortable dining experience. I actually brought my Mom along with me to introduce her to this restaurant, and felt ashamed afterwards to bring her to this establishment. The waiter also told me I can«get my own water» as if I should fetch it like a mere plebeian. It wasn’t so much the act of him saying this to me as it was the demeanor in which it was a said. I don’t think they knew how many times I have visited this restaurant. Although, it shouldn’t matter. Overall, if you like having a dismal experience, with inconsistent food portions, and a possible hostile interaction with waiters, I would recommend this place. For the area, there are tons of other Mediterranean restaurants which I would recommend instead. ADIOS!

Had the steak kebabs plate and Greek salad delivered to my hotel room at the Portofino. Order at 845 and food was there within 30 minutes. I can say the salad was huge, plenty of leftovers. Salad could be shared between 2 – 3 people. Tasty TOO. Steak was hot, tender and juicy. Good flavor. The meal comes with salad and 2 sided, I selected the rice and hummus, came with Pita bread.

I have a love hate relationship with this place. It’s very hit or miss as the food can be great if you catch it right. Food: Shwarma chicken kabob is awesome. You must order it. The Kafta kabob on the other hand has been really bad recently. Overcooked past 3 times I have ordered it where’s it’s been burned. First 3 times I ordered was literally some of the best I have had so I am guessing they have a new cook that has not perfected the art of cooking skewered kabobs, a difficult task. Service: I have had excellent service and really bad service. Some of the management and the owner are awesome. But other employees just don’t care and give crap answers to questions. Delivery is typically 75 – 90 minutes so just be ready to wait a very long time.

This is so sad. Since this restaurant changed ownership it has gone down hill quickly. My boyfriend and I were regulars at the old restaurant and loved it. The service was outstanding and the food was always fresh and delicious. About a month ago we went and it took an hour for us to get our food; well, we got part of our order and the other part took an hour(which is odd since we ordered the same thing). We were told the chef was new and that’s what the problem was. So we went back this weekend hoping that they got the kinks worked out and it would be the same great place it always was. While our order arrived promptly, it was missing the rice, which comes with it. The gyro meat was crispy and overdone on one of the orders… it should not have been served. Even the diet coke tasted watered down or off somehow. I will say that the kid that waited on us was very courteous(I think he must be new as I haven’t seen him there before) and gave us good service, which is why this review has one star. It’s obvious that this place has suffered due to the change in ownership. Very sad.

Hhhh… Great costumer service !!! Not at all. We ordered from our work and every single order came lacking something . Mine came in with no second side. My friend got her soup with no salad. And the other got it with no sauce. And the funny part we got everything with no fork or spoon. !!!oppsss And at the end if you call them, they will put you on hold forever.

Awful customer service. Food took entirely too long to prepare for the amount of people that were in the restaurant. Employees screwing around and cursing behind the divider. Food was okay.

I love this place. The kafta is awesome. Really light and fresh tasting. Made to order, which means its not sitting around all day. Great value, if you like Open Sesame it’s equally as good for ½ the price. The people are always and they have a great wine selection. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 5, is because of the wait time for food, particularly orders I’ve called in. The last two times I’ve ordered take-out over the phone, I was told 10 – 15 minutes when it took 30… The most recent time I was ready to ask for a refund and leave, since I’ve got other things I’d rather do with my time…

I’ve had delivery several times, and have always been satisfied. Until, one day, we ordered two plates and hummus, online. Funny, there’s no pita. I figure that I’ll call, and that they’ll say, «that’s crazy, you need pita to eat your hummus,» and everything will be dandy. So I called, and I was(very sternly) told that pita does not come with either item I ordered, and that I am supposed to pay extra for pita, because«that’s how they do»(not sure what that meant). Even funnier, there is no pita on the delivery menu. He told me that if I wanted pita, I would have to drive to the the restaurant and pay for it. No thanks, Crabby McCrabberson. Never going back.

Put in an order online for pick up. First strike, you have to order a minimum $ 15 even when it’s not delivery. When I went in, there was only one table with customers at it. Despite it being empty, I had to sit and wait for about ten minutes while the cashier had a phone conversation regarding business. He completely ignored my presence during this whole time. It just told me that he felt his time was more valuable than mine. I got home and learned that they forgot my extra pita bread. The food was okay, but would have been better if it hadn’t had the opportunity to cool to room temperature while I waited. It’s too expensive for this level of service. I don’t think I’ll be back.

YUM! Ordered delivery for dinner tonight. It came in a timely fashion. The portions were huge! Plenty left for tomorrow’s dinner. I ordered the gyro plate, grape leaves, and baklava. The gyro plate came with hummus, salad, rice, pita bread, and gyro meat. The salad was fresh and crisp, the hummus was creamy and delish. The rice was perfectly steamed and the meat was soft and flavorful. The grape leaves were amazing! They were hot! I had only ever had them pre-made and cold. These were freshly made and delivered still hot. They melted in my mouth… so good. The baklava was good too, although slightly dry. I’m used to baklava being more soaked in honey than this one was, but it was still flavorful and very good. I will definitely be ordering dinner from here again!

I’m probably going to OD on this place soon since there’s one location near work and another one near home and between the two, I probably go to this place once if not twice a week. And the funny thing is, the one item I order from them isn’t even really Arabic… it’s their Chinese chicken salad. Yes, I get the Chinese chicken salad(not because I’m Asian) from an Arabic place but it’s good. And their portion size allows for one meal to feed a couple of people. The location in Redondo has great service and very friendly staff… I haven’t eaten in at the El Segundo location as much.

I chose this place because I craved for chicken and garlic sauce. Location is along PCH and parking is potentially a problem if it gets so busy. It was clean inside but not super clean because there was condensation dripping from a ceiling vent to the table right next to us. Minor, yes. Not a big deal. It was just the two of us when we went(Sunday night) so we decided to just stay and dine in. But obviously, customers come and go for order pick up. Guys were super nice and attentive. I had half chicken with my choice of hummus and Greek coleslaw. The boyfriend had the Beirut mix combo. Everything was super tasty and I almost ate everything on my plate. It came with pita bread. Worth trying!

Very, very good place. Is it really that easy to make great gyro plates? Because that seems like something that never gets messed up no matter where you go. This place included. Just a delicious, perfect gyro plate. The garlic lemon chicken is also wonderful. Thumbs up.

We went later in the night and my boyfriend and I were the only people there. The staff was friendly and the food was good. It probably wouldn’t be the first place that I go when I get back to LA, but it wasn’t bad. Overall, just so so.

Friendliest staff around, especially the head honcho, Oscar! I come here pretty often and get their rotisserie chicken combo, its a great deal at about $ 7.50 for 2 sides, garlic sauce, a piece of bread, ¼th chicken & lemon wedge. The chicken always comes out hot & tender. The hummus portions are generous & have an excellent flavor to it. I normally go with a side of steamed veggies(cauliflower & broccoli) to make it a healthy, high protein, low carb meal. Location is close and normally doesn’t take more than 5 – 10 minutes for my order. Definitely recommend if you need to stop in for a quick bite!

I’m confused and don’t know what to feel about this place. The food is amazing but the customer service is lacking. I really want to give this place a 5 stars but I have to knock two out because the the inconsistency of service. My very first visit here I had a chicken kabob dinner plate that had two ground chicken skeweres, salad, hummus and rice. It was $ 17 and I thought it was kind of pricey for a just one plate. The portion was huge though enough to feed two people. Besides that it was delicious and I waited about 20 minutes before it was ready. The other day I went in for the $ 6.99 ¼ chicken dinner and got cole slaw, rice, and all white meat chicken breasts. The price was such a good value and it was delicious. However I had a hard time ordering this. The lady kept saying my order back to me wrong over and over and couldn’t get it right. The wait time took awhile too. Another inconsistency is the phone. I tried calling to order prior to my recent visit and they wouldn’t answer after 4 times of calling. I ended up going to Arby’s instead. This isn’t the first time they don’t pick up either. I’ve tried on several occasions to order and no one would answer.
