The owner is super nice and friendly. Great service and most of all delicious Indian food. I’m a big fan!

I’ve been here several times since their grand opening and the food and service has always remained consistently wonderful. I always eat here with a friend, and every person I’ve seen/talked to that work here are nothing but sweethearts. The prices are more than reasonable — $ 6 will fill you up here! The portions are good and the waiting time is minimal.
If you have any questions on a food item, they’ll patiently and clearly tell you what you need to know and won’t hesitate to offer you a sample. The place is small but not cramped, clean and comfortable to dine in. Always get the garlic naan — it’s inexpensive and made to order, and perfect every time.
This place absolutely deserves your patronage. It’s quickly become one of my favorite places to get a satisfying meal, and I hope they stay for a long time!

One of the best Indian Restaurant in South Bay. I loved the Chicken-Tikka masala. The chicken in the dish was perfectly cooked and the sauce was mouth watering. The ambience of the place is very welcoming. Amazing food, fast delivery and very affordable prices. Ps: Don’t forget to try their Wraps.

My wife and I ate here for the first and probably last time Sunday afternoon. The staff were very friendly so I gave an extra star for that. The food was ok. The thing wrong here is the setup is fast food. You are served on cheap trays. You order at the cash register and they serve you on cheap disposable plates. But the prices are what you would expect in a full service restaurant. Next time if I want cheap Indian food I will go to All Indian Sweets and snacks. Or if I want a full service restaurant I will go back to India’s Tandoori.

I’ve been going here for almost a year now and have introduced quite a few of my friends. We all love this place. Their Samosas are some of the best tasting ones I’ve had any place, and are very close to what I got back home in India. The wraps are delicious; ask them to prepare one without rice to get a more authentic Indian experience. The owner is wonderful, an always-smiling cheerful person.

Good cheap Indian food. $ 5.99 gets you a nice curry bowl, which satisfied my Indian food craving. I had the chicken tikka masala, which tasted really good. The portions are good and they don’t try to rip you off by charging a lot for the basmati rice. I usually go to Tandoori in manhattan beach, but they are a little pricier than here. I wanted a quick cheap fix and that’s what Six Spice was able to give me. I was considering delivery, but the $ 3 delivery charge to my area didn’t justify my $ 6 bowl. Next time I order for multiple people, I’ll consider the delivery option. Highly recommended!

This is a great place for locals and seniors who cannot handle spices. We found the staff friendly, wish I could give 5 stars for their wonderful personalities, but when the guy behind the counter said«hey don’t worry our food is not that spicy». That was when I began to worry, Isn’t Indian food known for being spicy? Well after paying about $ 10. for unspicy chana masala, that was enough for me. The guy was so nice I didn’t have the heart to beg for a refund. Hey but you can see by the reviews people love their food as is.

Place was clean and service was good. Overall, the food ranks 4 stars but gave it a 3 due to everything being served using all cheaper grade plastic plates and utensils, food a bit pricey and portions a bit small as well. It was more like lunch size portions with dinner pricing. We ordered 2 tea, 2 dishes and a side of naan which totalled approx 36.00.

One of the best Indian food I’ve ordered. The price is reasonable, I think it’s cheaper than the Indian restaurant in Torrance Blvd! Family owned business and they give your food with quality and quantity! I totally recommend this place! Updated: Also, Get Chicken Tikka Masala comes with rice! Don’t order rice separately unless you’re a rice lover like me!

Really nice people, and a great place to go when you have a craving for some great Indian food, and don’t mind being in a clean but casual environment. The price is nice, too, I just took my husband out and we had a Samosa appetizer and two entrees for $ 28. The«Famous» combo is a great way to try a chicken dish + a vegetable curry, along with rice and a little salad for only about $ 8. When you dine in, you order at the counter and a nice lady delivers your food to your table, along with a big pitcher of water.

This is up there as some of the best Indian I’ve had. The employees/owners were extremely nice and always willing to help or answer any questions. They took it a bit easy on me with the spice level considering I’m not Indian. So if you really want the heat, be firm that you can handle it. They are used to Americans not liking heat. Started with simosas and a lassi. Outstanding! Had a variety of dishes from malai kafta to a chicken dish and cauliflower/potato. The naan was fantastic as well. And don’t forget the gulab jamun. Donuts! My coworkers said it was one of the best they’ve ever had. We were told their business is heavily takeout centric which makes sense considering how their food is served in the restaurant itself. But no complaints from me, the prices were incredible. 3 people ate here, with tax and tip for under $ 70. Killer Indian food in a strip mall next to 7 – 11? I wonder how many people drive on PCH past here each day and have no idea what they are missing. This place rocks.

Super great customer service! GrinHub delivered our food ina complete mess. All the curries and rice in the combo was mixed into one corner. We called to notify the restaurant and they were so apologetic. The manager hand delivered us two new combo plates. Tasty, affordable, understanding. We will ordered again, maybe for Pick up next time :)

Ok, I get that this place gives you a tasty meal for less than $ 10 and so lots of folks like to grade leniently. But the server /owner gives tiny, meticulously measured portions. It’s as if she’s trying to make the food stretch the entire night vs serve what’s necessary for a plate. The plates I see photos of here are similarly paltry in protein so maybe it’s just how it is? Anyway, I am not very large and I was STARVING after finishing my entire meal. So of course my 6-ft tall husband was as well. We both got the combo(the best value on the menu) but even these were super light on protein and mostly carbs or sauce. I really don’t need rice, potatoes AND bread. I’d rather there be more than a toddler’s worth of protein, thank you very much. For a few more dollars each, we’d both opt go to a place where we can get a decently portioned meat entrée(Akbar, a few blocks away) or a AYCE Indian restaurant(Indian Tandoori, a few miles away). We love Indian and while this place tastes just fine, we’ll pass. We vote for no more hungry bellies!

I love this place. The owners are incredibly sweet. And the food is honestly the best quality Indian food I have had. Its not extra oily. And I’m lucky they decided to open up in the most unconventional location ever, the middle of a densely white surfer type of population in the southbay. When I crave Indian food this place is my go to.

I recommend their lunch specials offered at $ 6, $ 7 and $ 10, but naan is only included in the $ 10 option. The $ 6 option includes 2 vegetable curries, salad and rice. I got the $ 7 option, which came with salad, 1 curry, 1 chicken and rice. I opted for the chana masala and chicken tikka masala. The little cucumber and tomato salad had a nice vinaigrette. I would definitely get the chana masala again. The chicken tikka masala had great flavor and large chunks of white meat, but the chicken was a little overcooked and dry. With the $ 10 combo, you get a samosa, dessert, naan and option of choosing 2 types of chicken instead of one. The samosa was okay. The best part of this combo is the Garlic Naan! I would absolutely order it again. The dessert was very sweet. I don’t know if it’s worth upgrading for the samosa and dessert. I’d probably just opt for a side of garlic naan. This place is reasonably priced and I love Indian food, so I will definitely come back to try some of their other curries.

Soupy saag paneer that was milky in depressed spots. That was enough to turn off my appetite and not even try the remainder of the food I ordered. I also ordered the garlic naan and paneer tika masala. But I wondered about them following the saag paneer so they went into the trash… Rather unfortunate experience. I would not recommend nor return.

This place is AWESOMESAUCE! It’s hard to get lunch under $ 10 bucks nowadays. Well, let me rephrase that… it’s hard to get lunch under $ 10 bucks nowadays unless you eat at McDonald’s or Taco Bell(and even then you can spend more than $ 10 bucks at fast food joints nowadays). Spice Six, however, is delicious home cooked Indian food, of which you can get a lunch combo for $ 5.99, $ 6.99, or $ 9.99. You just can’t beat that, especially since the food there is DELICIOUS! I recommend the $ 6.99 or $ 9.99 combo. I usually get the Chana Masala(chickpeas) and regular chicken curry, with a side of garlic naan, a samosa, and gulab jamun. Another thing that is great about this place is the owner. Admittedly I can never remember his name(it is rather hard to pronounce), but he is SUPER nice and friendly. For people who haven’t had curry before or who have only had one or two kinds, when you walk in just ask him for a small sample of something you would be interested in trying out! He is more than willing to let your taste your way to a delicious lunch that you will enjoy. If you’re looking for a quick lunch and you find yourself in the beach communities, definitely swing in and give this place a try! You can’t beat affordable, home cooked food from a family business! Make Spice Six your next lunch stop!

Spice Six is an 8 month restaurant sharing real estate with 7 – 11 and Oki Doki Sushi. It appeared to be a family owned operation. The burrito is unique. It’s filled with bold Indian flavors. The Tandoori chicken was moist and flavored perfectly. The Lamb Curry was a pass.

Just tried this place for the first time and it was fantastic. You can get a combo plate with your choice of 2 of the 5 – 6 curries of the day for $ 6 or $ 7 depending on whether you want meat or not. The combo also comes with rice, naan and a little side salad. Such an unbelievable deal. Between the hubs and I we tried the yogurt curry, saag paneer, lentils, and chicken tikka masala. All of them were great. The saag paneer was more well seasoned than any other one I have had and the yogurt curry was different than anything I had ever had before. It was a yellow curry, which was slightly sweet due to the yogurt but also had a good kick of spice, so good. You can also upgrade to garlic naan for only 50 cents, I love all things garlic so I did and it was amazing. They also have other options like Tandoori chicken and Byrani of all kinds. I will definitely be back. I think this will be a new favorite dinner spot for sure.

I love me some Indian food! But what caught my interest was something on the menu that I’ve never experienced before: Tofu Tikka. Bold red color and very oniony. It’s interesting. I’d probably eat it again. It tastes really REALY good with mint sauce. In fact, that was one of the tastiest mint sauces that I’ve had. It also came with rice and salad which consists of chopped cucumber and tomato. Guess what tastes good with the salad? You guessed it… mint sauce :) I liked the Samosas too. Especially with the mint sauce! Service was friendly. The lady behind the food counter was helpful to point out the many non-dairy items. Parking kinda sucks though. The tiny lot has many reserved spots for 7 – 11 so the remaining spots are competitive.
