I have been modeling for 15 years and farmed out to the «Best» and most exclusive salons all over LA and have NEVER had a better trim, better color or hair care. Hands down the best experiences I’ve had with a hair stylist. I have been coming to Amanda for 3 years now, and we have done it all. I used to have shorter hair and we never missed a chance to do something new and fun with it.
I am currently thinking about having a child, and Amanda worked out a plan with me to make sure I would have manageable touch up routine and safe products to use during pregnancy. She made me feel a lot more comfortable with using dyes/​products during a future pregnancy.
Also it is a PLUS that she is knowledgable with GF (gluten free) and V (vegan) products! If you ever have questions regarding sensitive skin/​scalp, allergies, etc., she is the women to discuss those with! I am confident she can help you as much as she has helped me.
Amanda is also very popular, so keep her suggestions in mind when she asks you to book ahead! There is a reason why she has a full schedule — she does magical work!

Amanda is amazing!!! She really tries to get a grasp on what you want with your hair. She asks a lot of questions which i definitely appreciate! Sometimes you really dont know what you want until youre talking to a pro. My finished results were better than expected. Highly recommend!

Amanda is AWESOME! No doubt about it. When I first moved to the South Bay in 2007, I was worried about finding someone who could help me manage my thick mane. That’s right, I said mane. The first stylist I ever saw was Amanda… and suffice it to say, that hasn’t changed in four years. My hair has changed a lot in that time, and Amanda has helped guide me along the way, ensuring I always look my best. She’s always super friendly and engaging, and has ultimately become a good friend as well. I highly recommend you check her out. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a schmuck.

Amanda is the BEST! She is easy to talk to and does a great job on my hair everytime. She also doesn’t charge as much as some of the other salons in the southbay.
I told her I was afraid to post anything because I didn’t want others to find out how great she is, making it harder for me to get an appointment.

My girlfriend sent me to Amanda to get some blond highlights and cover my grays. Her «studio» is in a windowless back room of a strip mall nail salon. Her hair washing sink is the worst thing I’ve ever tried to position my neck into. The music she played was the same 10 tunes on both my visits of this droning-​drab mix of Euro-​techno and new-​age… My hair is pretty short so she just painted the highlight bleach on in blotches. What happened next is that it lightened the spots too much. Next she put a golden brown color over everything. That left the spots an orange tone and it looked very unnatural. When I got home and really looked at it and saw the back i was not happy. When we called her back, she said she was booked solid for the next 4 days… When I went back 5 days later she had a very pissy attitude and she messed it up even more. I walked out with dark brown hair. (better than orange polka dots!) Now I have to go pay someone else to fix her mess. The worst part of this bad situation is the way she handled it. I would strongly discourage patronizing her.
A person could do better just about anywhere else.

Amanda’s techniques are simply amazing. I moved here from NY and wanted to find someone who would be able to make me look like a movie star. Amanda did that! I always get compliments on my hair and would refer her to anyone looking for an awesome stylist. Great prices, cool atmosphere and Amanda is cheerful and funny. A+++

I highly recommend Amanda! She is extremely professional and always takes amazing care of her customers. She has been doing my hair for three years now and I wont let anyone else touch it! Anytime I go to Amanda (whether it be for color, cut, even extensions!) I leave satisfied. She always does exactly what I have in mind!

Amanda’s execution style is graceful, tasteful and appropriate to you. I’m an old man with frizzy gray hair, so you’ll never see me walk out of there with a frosted tipped faux hawk. She keeps me classy.
I’ve been going to Amanda for 1.5 years when she rescued me from a botched dye job by another stylist at Floyd’s, and I’ve since followed her to her independent practice.
It’s hard to find a stylist that has the skills, genuinely cares about the customer and is fun to be around. She has a repeat customer in me to the grave. God bless her face.
