Fu Jian Chinese Restaurant

Not bad. Mostly a take-​out place. Got some food for the fam for dinner. Basic, but tasty and reasonable.

Bleh… stopped in for a quick to-​go lunch. I won’t be back. Even for your local, cheap Chinese joint this place leaves much to be desired. It’s not the most sanitary place around and the food was gross.

My coworker and I ordered lunch because they are cheap and they deliver. However, they got our order wrong and refused to do anything to fix it. They demanded we come to their restaurant to get it replaced, as we ordered lunch in for a reason we could not leave the office to go to their restaurant. They did not offer a discount on our next order, they refused to have the correct items delivered. We will not be ordering from here again to due the complete lack of customer service. It’s ok to make a mistake, but make some effort to fix it.

Two stars because they delivered in the snow and were quick. Unfortunately, the speed meant our crispy chicken was soggy and undercooked as were the rock hard and pink chicken dumplings. The beef and broccoli was soggy and tasteless (I think they attempted to bread the beef), though it was cooked correctly. Their rice was good, a little harder than other Chinese places, but I like I that way. The shrimp lo mein was shrimp lo mein. Nothing special. The cheese wontons/​crab Rangoon were crispy. No chopsticks were included, which was surprising. Ultimately, if you’re looking for food that you can order in individual portions that you will have to cook at home, either order from here or go to a grocery store.

They have huge egg rolls, they’re likely frozen and bought from another company, but I feel safe in knowing that these folks didn’t actually make them.
It’s dirty here, stale in appearance and can’t imagine they get much repeat business, also their soup is so thick and settled that the egg drop soup was curdled. As in coagulated. Nomnomnom. :()

No good. Pretty much every other chinese place I tried was better than this. Locality looks good but food sucks.

The worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Take out or pick up and two tables — one of which is occupied by the owners children. Strange loud water features. Freezer burned frozen eggrolls. Egg drop soup with so much corn starch the spoon can stand on its own. Huge pieces of vegetable all diced in different sizes. Tiny little strips of meat. Mongolian beef and kung pao chicken didn’t resemble or taste like those popular dishes at all. Spaghetti noodles and soy sauce doesn’t = lo mein. Seriously, I have real Chinese egg noodles in my own pantry why can’t this people have the same decency?
Did I mention this is the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. By far…
There is a culinary school next door and they should take some lessons.

Run-​of-​the-​mill takeout Chinese, complete with owner’s cute kid who plays in the lobby. Good prices.

Bland :(Real disappointment from other reviews.

They do a good general tso’s, and the food is ready in less than 10 minutes. I guess It could be a little cheaper, but it’s definitely worth the extra two bucks.
