An English Flower Cottage

Mandy/​An English Flower Cottage just did the flowers for my wedding at Lake Lure and Mandy served as my day-​of coordinator. By far our best vendor, worth every penny and then some!
The flowers: We were on a tight budget with our wedding, but she worked with us every step of the way (including multiple revisions to the estimate on my part) and I was absolutely blown away by the flowers for the ceremony and reception. It was exactly what we were looking for, and she was able to make last minute changes for the alter and aisle pieces when thunderstorms pushed us into a different ceremony location. She delivered/​picked up everything, including glassware (she has tons to choose from and is able to create different looks with it). Between the ceremony and reception she worked in my and my bridesmaids bouquets into the dining arrangements. Overall, the flowers were elegant and got tons of compliments.
Coordination: Though the flowers were excellent, the truly exceptional service came from Mandy’s coordination. We wrote our own ceremony and had a friend officiate, she was essential with directing the rehearsal and getting us prepared. She helped our photographer, another friend, find good places to shoot, and even kicked out a few wedding crashers for us. The venue was trying to push us into a less than ideal setup in case of rain, but Mandy stepped in and made sure that no matter what happened the guests wouldn’t have to wait for cocktails (essential). She made the day worry and hassle free; exactly what it should be!
Of all the money we spent on our wedding vendors, Mandy and An English Flower Cottage were far and away the best. Truly great, and we love them for it!
