DO. NOT. stay here. The outside of this place, made me I have since of adventure. The vintage, bicycle, rocking chairs. Cookies in the small lobby. Feeling as if I was in a low budget indie movie .The front desk lady was rude and actually yelled at me because I wasn’t pleased with my room and actually ASKED ME TO LEAVE. I’ve never been treated with such poor hospitality in my life. This is the south for god sakes. $ 40.00 or 1.00 is not worth the amount of bug bites I have on my legs and thighs. This is my first bad review on Unilocal

A little run-​down, but clean. Best price in town. BUT — to enjoy your stay there, you will need to be VERY tolerant of screaming children. They were everywhere, and made the parking lot hard to navigate. The noise cannot be escaped, even inside the room. Very nice people run it, but it’s way too «family friendly» for me.
Location is very convenient to the Audubon State Park entrance, but otherwise it sits at the end of miles of very unpleasant strip malls, heavy traffic, and urban sprawl outside Henderson. I will look for a place downtown next time.
It is one of very few places I’ve ever stayed where the promised wi-​fi really worked, and it worked well. Thanks.
